Boundaries of the Popliteal Fossa:

Superiorly: The lower border of the popliteus muscle.
Inferiorly: The fascia covering the popliteus muscle.
Medially: The semimembranosus and semitendinosus muscles.
Laterally: The biceps femoris muscle.
Contents of the Popliteal Fossa:
---------------------------------------------------
Popliteal artery and its branches (anterior and posterior tibial arteries).
Popliteal vein and its tributaries.
Tibial nerve and its branches (posterior cutaneous, sural, medial and lateral plantar nerves).
Common fibular (peroneal) nerve and its branches (superficial and deep fibular nerves).
Popliteal lymph nodes and fat.
Relations of the Popliteal Fossa:

Anteriorly: Popliteal surface of the femur, joint capsule of the knee joint, and the popliteus muscle.
Posteriorly: Popliteal fascia, skin, and subcutaneous tissue.
Medially: Semimembranosus muscle, medial head of the gastrocnemius muscle, and the saphenous nerve.
Laterally: Biceps femoris muscle, lateral head of the gastrocnemius muscle, and the common fibular (peroneal) nerve.
