At this point I’m 100% sure they’re self aware of how ridiculous they are and they’re just owning up to it. There is no other explanation

I agree except I think you mean maybe "leaning into it" instead of "owning up to it". If they were owning up to it, they would admit this is all horseshit. Instead they're just not putting as much effort in to hide how ridiculous it is.

I'm so glad my parents never broke my trust by like, hiding medicine or whatever. We (my brother and I) were basically just told straight up "It tastes gross, I know. But it'll make you feel better. A bit of yuck for a lot of relief, okay?" Knew exactly what I was going to get, and why. And if the medicine was TOO gross for me to stand, they tried a different flavor. (For example, honey-flavored medicine made me retch just from the smell), so we went with cherry. Still disgusting, but tolerable. Just be honest with your kids and they'll return the favor.

6:38 as paramedics, we regularly do "Glove elephants" for kids. You inflate a glove, tie it off so the air doesn't escape, then you tie the index and middle + the ring and small fingers together so they stand off to the sides. now you can draw eyes and ears on the elephant, with the thumb acting as the trunk :)

I truly believe that so many of the “old wives tales” (like the sparkling water on a towel on your head trick) come from mothers knowing the child is not really sick or hurt or has a headache but just really wants attention, so since giving real medications to someone who doesn’t need it can be dangerous, they get creative with “cures” it gives the child the attention and the “cure” makes them feel like they can stop either pretending Or over acting.

7:06 This reminded of an actual trick my dad taught me. If you nick your face or another area with high blood vessel density with a razor and it won't stop bleeding, place a small piece of toilet paper or printing paper on it. The paper will stick to the wound and prevent the mess that usually follows sharp cuts like that. Please note that it's specifically a 'hack' aimed to stop slow but steady bleeds from tiny cuts in your skin; a shaving accident, for instance.

Everytime a guy mentions a bra in their video, my 1st thought is the feeling of taking it off at the end of the day.😂😂 Oh, fun fact: The next time your partner gives you a massage, get them to do the area right up _under_ your breasts. What a crazy (& sensitive) area we _always_ seem to forget. Though really, we shouldn't. Have a great day. Cheers!🍻

I'm a big fan of the idea that almost any experience is effectively universal, and that a failure to relate is almost exclusively a product of willful disregard. I may not know what an unbalanced bra is like, but everyone has experienced something or other being unbalanced and the discomfort that imposes. Similarly, we all have experienced taking off some article of clothing that contains or applies pressure to parts of our bodies after having worn them for an extended period. An easy example in both cases are socks and/or shoes.

@@lilkittygirl because a lot of males don’t know how much a bra costs! $50 sounds like one of the bigger sizes to me (used to sell bras). And once you get bigger than a B-cup, the prices climb rather quickly. If you’ve got small boobs, bras aren’t as much. But if you’re really little (my sis) they get expensive again because they have to be specially ordered. Seriously, how does one manage with a 29” ribcage??

@@g.strobl4458 Pesticides used on food generally don't have a high enough concentration and are too volatile to remain on plants all the way through shipping and sale. When it comes to the "ring is stuck" problem, dunno how well floss works, but it seems pretty uncomfortable. Using lube from a condom might work but those things cost money and I don't think you'd want to carry around an opened one after using it to get a ring off, so... kinda wasteful. Lubricating your finger with the random (non-toxic) oil/fat of your choice, seems a lot more reasonable. Olive oil, butter even? Lard if that's what you have at home? Just use a little bit, nice and cheap, and should work just as well.

Hi dr Mike. While the spoon on tongue thing was definitely dangerous due to it being cut plastic, my dentist actually told me using a regular kitchen spoon (that won’t cut you) is actually a good way of getting that top layer of junk off your tongue! 😊

I think the salt bush is supposed to be a heating pad to ease the back pain. Whenever I had a sore throat, my mom would heat up salt in a pan, put it in a sock and tell me to place it on my neck/throat or where ever I felt discomfort. It did not cure my sore throats, but I did enjoy the warmth of the salt sock :D aaand it did ease them a bit, I think atleast. You have to put a lot more salt though, and it cools very fast too
