Sad to hear the disease is progressing quite fast now. I have genetic non-compactioncardiomyopathy as well. You indeed can't really do anything to help it. It's just hoping it won't get worse fast and have an ICD as a backup.

Lack of niacin is associated with dilated dardiomyopathy too. Might be worth taking 100mg of nicotinic acid with meals. I’ve been eating a lot of un-limed corn of late and sees like my niacin levels dropped. I took a dose and did even get any flush from it, like the corn was absorbing it, on an empty stomach.. Can be heart attack serious and probably a wise thing to avoid in your case. Be real KZbin, be sober.

They might think their isn't anything they can do, but that is what they said about a lot of things that are now everyday occurrences. What if, (you would need to talk with a gene doctor), modify your own bodies stem cells to re-sculpt the heart to a safe natural size. That is the first idea. The second idea is, their has been some promising success with 3D printing organs using the patients own cell tissue in recent years. Could this be an option for you? Keep thinking about those happy linux thoughts running on that sweet system you have. God has a plan for you and may you be effective in executing that plan.
