Based on my own experience - yes. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes nong 2020. Been doin' lowcarb and intermittent fasting since Oct 2021. From 89 kilos naging 74 kilos na lang. Month of May 2022, normal na FBS ko especially ang HBA1C ko after i request ng doctor ko na magpa laboratory ako. Thank God, bumaba na din pati SGPT at SGOT ko at dating may malaking gallstone ngayon meron pa din pero sludge na lang base sa recent ultrasound ko. I am no longer taking any medications as advised by my doctor since mukang effective naman daw ang ginagawa kong lifestyle change. Mas magaan na pakiramdam ko ngayon compared dati na hindi pa ako nag LCIF. Will continue to have follow-up consultation sa doctor/s ko to monitor my health, as advised naman lagi by Dr. Josephine Grace C. Rojo, Marco Reyes, RChE at Iris Radev, M.D. sa mga videos nila na magpa consult pa din sa trusted doctors prior to doing any lifestyle change like low carb and intermittent fasting.

At saka, tinitira niyo tertimonials ng mga gumaling eh ano magagawa niyo kung nag-improve sila dahil sa change of diet and lifestyle nila? Ano gusto niyo gawin? Ibalik sila sa sakit bila maipilit niyo lang yung way of eating niyo na gusto? Kayo ba, masasabi niyo ba na sa nutrition na itinuturo niyo, may nagimprove na ba sa diabetes nila? May nagtanggal na ba ng maintenance meds nila? May gumanda na ba ang CVR scores? Tutal makapagbagsak na rin lang kayo ng credentials, if what you’re saying about your nutrition is true, ano ebidensiya niyo that it works? Naexperience niyo na ba first hand? Mga sarili niyo ba? Kumusta naman? Wala naman ba kayo mga sakit ngayon? Hopefully wala naman… :)

May mga facts naman sa vid ni Doc Dex. But not for this one. Hindi po ako Kulto ng KETO/Fasting. I just based everything on reputable studies. Mahilig kasi ako magrequest ng links pag may claim about diet. I am not asking you to do anything. but always ask for links from reputable studies. Like if may doctor na nag claim na eating animal fat can make you fat. hanapan nyo po kagad ng studies. Replyan mo po ako if they can show reputable studies. I'll try to study it.

I am happy that you are commenting on the vids of Dr. Rojo. I have been asking kung ano ang long-term effect ng hindi pagconsume ng carbs then if the body is using fats and protein for energy, hindi po ba mamrublema ang kidneys and liver in the long run? I guess, that is the question na dapat maintindihan ng mga tao na followers ni Dr. Rojo.

Hindi naman meats and proteins ang cause ng kidney and liver diseases. Alam yan ni Dex. Those with non-compromised kidneys and livers are ok to consume just the right amounts of proteins and fats. Those with late stages of kidney or liver diseases may find it difficult to go on low carb or keto, but then again, hindi pa rin naman yung proteins and naging cause ng kidney and liver diseases in the first place. So kung functioning normally pa ang liver and kidneys mo, you should be ok to eat meats and proteins. And low carb and keto doesn't mean you need to eat excessively. You need to eat just the right amounts and you will have to make sure that you eat only until you are full. Our body has overlapping mechanisms that could tell us when to stop eating, so there's no way that you can consume excessive proteins without listening to your body. Unless, talagang matakaw ka na lang and you still wouldn't stop eating kahit alam mong stuffed ka na. Then it's your fault, you overate. But as long as you eat just right and enough, it's ok.

WRONG KETO INFO = WRONG EFFECT RIGHT KETO INFO = RIGHT EFFECT Assuming po nag start ka kumain ng protein knowingly na KETO yung ginagawa mo po. Lalo ka lang napasama sa health mo and yet telling everybody na hindi naging maganda result ng keto sayo. Right information is the key. Hindi 1on1 consultation. 🙄 This tiktokers na debunk nila Doc Dex nag base lang mga yan kila Dr. Jason Fung, Dr. Ken Berry and Eric Berg. yung mga tiktokers inulit lang sa tagalog yung info para madali maintindihan. Try mo ask Doc Dex debunk nya directly mga sinabi kong Doctors. I Doubt na gawin nya.

@@stanleychua3709 I really, really, really, really, really doubt na ide-debunk ni Dex yung mga doctors na minention mo. Ang level lang niya kasi eh Tiktokers. Mas may mapapala kasi pag yung mga famous Tiktokers ang tinira niya. Mas may reach mga yun in terms of followers... Dadagdag din sa followers niya. Buti sana kasi kung yung sincere na health advocacy niya ang gusto niya lumawig ang reach by doing these kinds of reaction videos... Just being real here. Dahil kung seryoso siya, they wouldn't do these kinds of videos to the point na medyo bastos and disrespectful na dahil "pinagtatawanan" na nila. Mga doctor pa naman sila. Kapal pa ng mukha mag-bagsak ng credentials...

I already did calorie deficit with IF and all I got was acid reflux and migraine. After giving birth, I tried LCIF. I lost my post partum fats, from 62kgs PP down to 53kgs which is lower than my prebaby weight. I never experienced acid reflux and migraines again. I eat meat, vegetables and fruits that are LC approved. Sometimes I make my own LC bread. I make sure to take vitamins and supplements. I drink kombucha and kefir everyday. I exercise whenever I have free time. I’m happy and healthy without experiencing symptoms or sickness at all. Thanks to Doc Rojo, I learned a lot. If you watched all of her videos and read all her posts, it’s very informative and she can explain it very well too. I even bought her books. I also have friends and family who are practicing LC and they enjoyed it as well. One was able to reverse his fatty liver and GERD. We all get to enjoy eating high carbs food from time to time but not on a daily basis. I’m not so sure what’s the purpose of this video but you can create a video too about your own advocacy to engage and educate people about it. Direct attacking is not necessary. Low carb is what kept me off my inhalers though. I dont need them anymore and I used them twice a day noon. I lost 12 kg in the process and I feel great.. no sugar coating here...

maganda intention ng contents nyo, Docs. na appreciate namen to. i can also feel your frustration lalo kapag mas madami naniniwala sa influencers kesa sa experts/doctors. may namiss po kayo dito, mahina po ang reach at engagement nyo sa masa o sa karaniwang pinoy. kuha po kayo ng expert o social media managers para mas madami kayong mareach na masang pinoy. ganyan po kasi ang labanan ngayun. example po si Doctor Mike. kung aggressive po ang influencers in sharing wrong/dangerous information, di ba mas maganda mas aggressive ang experts tulad nyo po?

I've been watching her videos as well and a lot about LCIF Kaya lang I can say na ako may problem haha nahihirapan ako not to eat bread or rice kahit once a day. So I decided to go to a real expert when it comes to Nutrition for my weight management. Looking forward to my 1 on 1 consultation with Dr Dex soon.

Share ko lang din po experience ko sa lowcarb diet for 2 mos ko rin ginawa to lower my HbA1c at bumaba nga po from 7 down to 6. 10 lbs din po nawala kong weight but my Doctor said it is not good for long term dahil may side effect and He was right now tumaas nman ang cholesterol ko kaya naging 2 na meds ko. I think not all diet is suitable for everyone. You have to balance your food intake and moderation is the key. Now, plant based diet/ low fat at exercise na ginagawa ko. Suriin po natin ang lahat ng ating napapanood na videos wag agad maniniwala lalo na at kalusugan natin ang nakataya dito. Consult your Doctor b4 mg try. Best regards po. God bless!

Mas okay pa din si Doc Grace Rojo. Maganda ang naging effect ng Keto sakin na 15yrs na pinahihirapan ng acid reflux /gerd. Ngayon sa keto/lowcarb nakapag pahinga ako.

Parepareho po kayong doctors, at lahat kayo matatalino, mas maganda kung may respeto sa kanikaniyang specialization. Dapat kung ano ang kaalaman ng isa ay bigyan ng pagkakataon na ilahad ito at bigyan ng respeto. Huwag hanapan ng mali at pagtawanan, at panggigilan. Parepareho naman nag aral ng medesina. Kanya kanya po kung ano ang advocacy nyo doon na lng at kung may tatalakayin kayo na sa palagay nyo ay bago o hindi kapanipaniwala, mas mabuti kausapin nyo ang doktor na iyon. Mag debate kayo at hindi yung mga sumubok na di tama ang ginawa kaya napahamak lng ang pakikinggan nyo. Approach nyo yung doctor para maipaliwanag ang side nila.

by doing low carb from 85.5 kg down to 64 kg… bukod sa pag baba ng timbang naging regular din ang regla ko na dati minsan sa isang taon lng ako datnan… nawala ung mga kati ko sa katawan at ung mga parang bungang araw na tumubo sa magkabilang pisngi ko hanggang sa may ilalim ng baba sa magkabilang braso at likod… kaya natawa ako sa isang comment na hindi daw healthy ang low carb😂😂😂 kung gagawin at susundin mo ng tama ang low carb bunos nalang ang pagpayat mo…

This is why I never tried the LCIF fad. A balanced diet is still the best. To those who experienced great benefits with Low Carb diet, then good for you. But it doesnt mean it will work for everyone.

@@maika9659 Hindi sila nagmamarunong. May alam din sila at hindi mo lang din kasi alam ang alam nila kaya akala mo nagmamarunong sila. Why don't you spend time learning more about low carb and keto ng maintindihan mo din. Akala mo ba yung mga "nagmamarunong" na yan eh pinulot lang sa kalye ang mga alam nila? Alam mo ba na maraming mga doctors na mas expert pa sa 3 nasa video na ito na pinagaralan yung information na sinasabi nga mga "nagmamarunong" na yan na tinitira nila Dex?

@@iamnotadoc6139 hi thank you for the concern 😊 Yes I read about the CLEAN Keto and I love Low carb foods such as lean meats, fish, eggs, leafy green vegetables, cauliflower and broccoli, nuts and seeds, olive oil, some fruit, such as apples, blueberries, and strawberries. And I also love complex carbs such as whole, unprocessed grains like oats, quinoa, and brown rice, legumes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, green beans, carrots, Banana, Apples, berries, oranges, kiwi, etc I believe in not restricting oneself to a certain diet because a balance diet, with consultation from the people who studies Nutrition and Dietetics, is more sustainable and there's no single food group that can provide all the nutrients our bodies need 🤗 And also thank you for watching the video, cause it shows that you are open-minded and willing to see other's points of view ☺️

Side effect ng low carb way of eating for me is I no longer suffer from asthma attacks. What a joy :)

@@chillsp0t ​ @Nico Validity is unique for each and every one of us, that's for sure. Regular exercise (swimming) and eating high carb food didn't work for me. I still had regular asthma attacks then. Our circumstances are different, too. I had adult onset severe asthma, while you might have had asthma as a child.

Nakakatawa na nag-aagree yung 2 sa sinasabi nung lalake at 12:00. May analogy pa siyang nalalaman about bank and cash and fat stores. Hindi naman stored form ng carbs ang fats! They are totally different classes of compounds! Maryosep doc whoever! Tira kayo ng tira sa ibang doctor yung sinasabi niyo naman mali mali. Tapos dinadaan niyo mga tao by playing with words. Tapos merong pang “sobrang caloric excess”. Sobra na excess pa. Sobra-sobra na talaga. Sige ipilit niyo pa yan paglalaro niyo ng words! Gigil sa it’s not about sugar. Pero ALAM mo na yun ang ugat talaga. Ayaw mo lang talaga aminin kasi mawawala ang patatas mo at ang pineapple juice $$$$ niyo! Come on! Let’s get real here.🙄🙄🙄

I'm not in low carb or fasting either pero nung nagpa blood test aq nasabi ng dr na I don't need maintenance kc kaya pang mapababa specially the cholesterol and ldl and so as my sugar the dr just advice me not to eat much red meat n shrimps iwas Alat n mattamis which I follow and nagbawas din ng kanin plus samahan q pa ng 30 mins.walk every night and bawi sa fruits n veggies and eventually when I had my blood test again bumaba lahat and so as my weight from 66.9 to 60.2 as of now
