As an ID specialist further specialized in Infection Prevention I can‘t understand how simple things like clean water, food, disinfectants, antibiotics, sterile goods or at least enough energy to sterilize by themselves are blocked by Israel. My country Germany denies the evacuation of children to Germany with an adult/ guardian. Several organisations provided the money, would have taken care of everything but the government says it is a security risk if the child is accompanied by a relative, they expect small children to come to Germany alone without a person they know and who could be helpful in their recovery. It´s just inhumane. As a nurse myself I´m really disgusted by my governments stands. I know how important it is for the recovery that patients and especially traumatized children have a good support system. And these are the same politicians who ignore the reports of MSF or every doctor/ medical group from germany that was in G.

An immediate multinational humanitarian airlift is what’s needed. It was done in Berlin after the war it can be done in Gaza. The US Military has the capability and authority and obligation to do this. We can set up an airstrip almost anywhere and easily provide the needed security to evenly distribute supplies and provide medical attention. The children must be evacuated! Why are they just doing occasional airdrops over the sea!!!! If this was Europe we would bring all our resources to help. It’s disgraceful. I’m ashamed of my country.
