Tari Khan sahab is an outstanding tabla Nawaz, in fact a living legend His accompaniment especially for Ghazals, and light classical music is simply out of the world 🙏🙏 I am fascinated with his clarity, soor , speed and the inimitable ability to play unbelievable laggees, teehaiees and come on the SUM , enhancing the beauty of the ghazal . It's very rare that someone is blessed by the Lord to such an extent. The daya & baya balance and resonance is top class. When it comes to pure tabla solo, classical ragas, khayal gayaki, Instrumental , Kathak, there are so many legends that come to mind who have made their niche presence viz. Ustad Zakir Hussain, PT. Kumar Bose, pt. Anindo Chatterjee, the god of tabla from the previous generations Ustad Thirakhwa Khan Saab, Ustad Nizamuddin Khan Sahab, Habibuddin Khan, Ustad Alla Rakha Khan Sahab, Ustad Shaukat Hussain Khan sahab ... Just to name a few who all are blessed with exceptional talent & skills in their own specialities, however for Ghazals & light classical accompaniment no one comes close to Tari Khan Saab👌👌🙏 May the Almighty bless him immensely with a very long, healthy and happy life so that he can keep all music lovers & especially classical Ghazal lovers mesmerised with his magical tabla for a very long time to come 🙏🙏🙏
