I'm a Singer" This is not "The Voice", it's a competition of already known and talented singers.Adding that the organizers keep secret the names of the participants - quite famous singers. Dimash was the youngest of them. Its organizers invited him themselves.Dimash sang "SOS d'un terrien en détresse" in the competition he was supposed to sing first. There were eight singers, it will go on to seven. Dimash passed. Each day, one participant receives a cup and one leaves the project. There are 14 cups in total. This means that you have to take part in 14 turns. The winner is the one who receives the most cups. New singers join along the way.The peculiarity of the project is that the cameras in real mode observe your every move, film how you eat, how you behave In 2017, Dimash's competitors were very strong, experienced singers, multiple winners of the "China Music World", "M T V Awards" and others. The peculiarity of this show is that the singer is not limited to performing the song on stage, he is constantly under real-time supervision.The main requirements for the singer in the project "I am a Singer": 1. A singer must win the hearts of the audience. 2. He has to show his new face every time. 3. To perform in a new style, in a new genre. 4. Sing Live. The winner in each round is selected by 500 spectators aged 20-60 sitting in the hall. Each viewer has the right to vote for three singers. These 500 viewers no longer vote in other rounds. In each turn, the singers receive a total of 1,500 votes. In the first round, Dimash received 78% of the votes, ie 1170 votes out of 1500 !!!After January 21, they lost the possibility of a "normal" walk in China! I discovered him just a week later when he covered Vitas' song Opera 2. 😂 All of those contestants are professional singers/performers. I Am Singer is a show for only established artists and Dimash was invited as a Wild Card, because he was just starting his career in Kazakhstan. He's never forgotten about that and his love for his Dears shows in everything he does and every insta post he makes. It's what puts him above the rest, that unlike most artists who rise to fame and then become arrogant and unwilling to interact with fans he still makes time to sign autographs, take pictures, launch himself into the crowd at huge concerts. He's truly one of a kind even without that amazing voice.

I subscribe to your channel, here I leave you some information about Dimnash, the best singer in the world. DimashDimash [Dee-mahsh] Kudaibergen [Koo-die-bear-GHIN] is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was found to have perfect pitch. He is 27 years old, He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz, was a major in Vogel technique. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his masters with honours having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He has since started his PhD. He currently has a vocal range of over 7.7 octaves but he is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of both arrange you have but in fact what you do with it. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He has performed songs in 13 different languages. He speaks fluent Russian and Kazakh, some Chinese and is pretty good in English and Is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it. At 22 he was invited as a wild card to participate in a Chinese singing show for professional singers (This S.O.S. presentation was his first performance in this Show and he gained more than 600 million followers on that night). Bonjour, merci d'avoir réagi au plus grand chanteur du monde. Dimash est exceptionnel sur beaucoup de plans. Il chante divinement bien dans divers genres de musique, joue de 7 instruments. Ici il chante en français mais il chante aussi en 12 langues étrangères. Your reaction was very similar to mine when I first discovered Di by accident just over a year ago. I felt like I had been living under a rock and had finally crawled out to see the light. Here in the UK it's almost like our music industry has blinkers on. Or that we're so proud of our rock music heritage we're afraid of change and this is what Dimash is, change of a groundbreaking illusion shattering kind where bland pop and musical trickery won't do it for us anymore.

He was a black card, a foreigner among lots and lots of chinese stars in that show. He came, he sang and he won everyones hearts. Only 22 years old :) And came second in the whole competition.

(De-MOSH KOO-die-ber-Gen) Great reaction and I'd like to welcome you to the Dimash rabbit hole. This was in 2017 when he was 22 years old. His appearance on this Chinese competition show catapulted him to worldwide stardom. He has a large catalog a performances for you to get through now. Genres range from rap to rock, pop to classical, Opera and Kazakh folk music. There's nothing he sings that he doesn't do incredibly well. He's able to sing notes in seven different octaves. He will change everything you ever thought you knew about vocals, local technique and singing in general. Not to mention his performance in stage presence capabilities.

You just witnessed the greatest vocalist of all time. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 13 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend “Sinful Passion “ 2018, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017 and then "Stranger" 2021 and "Ikanaide" 2021. Just go to his official KZbin channel Dimash Qudaibergen and watch from this point forward this was his first performance on the Chinese show "Singer" from 2017 he was 22 years old. He is now 27 and has done so many things since. He is a world renowned vocalist. You cannot call Dimash just a singer. You will see. Just watch everything he has done. He is an exceptional talent! Dimash is a Kazakh. So, he speaks Kazakh, Russian fluently, and can speak English at intermediate level. He sings in more languages though.

Correction: Dimash has the best voice you have ever heard - unless you can name another! I suggest you watch every single performance of his - each one is better than the one you just listened to.- which is actually not possible when each performance is perfect and magnificent. The Singer , it was a Chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. He is now a world class artist, still just turned 27 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, (on hold until next year due to covid-19) he also performs in concerts with the famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He is about to start his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 12 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. He is kind, humble, generous and modest, very elegant and very tall, Dimash is 6ft 3, 1/4. His Dears, as Dimash calls his fans because we are so dear to him and very loyal, number over 70 fan clubs in 120 countries globally and number in the millions, probably you will soon be one of us Dears. Many more to check out. This performance is just the tip of the iceberg. He was already a major name in his home country before this performance, but became quite popular in China after his appearance in the show. He didn’t win….he came in 2nd to a popular singer from Hong Kong…I’m sure there were some nationalistic politics in play. However, since he was a wild card addition to the show and not very well known in China he most likely was not expected to do as well as he did. He’s only gotten better with time. There are also several other performances from this show that are worth checking out.

You are right that they didn't expect him to do so well. I heard on a video that the contestants sang that first week in reverse order of how they were expected to do. Since they expected him to be last, he had to sing first. In later weeks they had different ways to pick the order.

Loved your first time reaction of hearing Dimash for the first time. Dimash is considered the best vocalist in the World. NO, Dimash did NOT win this competion. He was invited as a Dark Horse and performed this as the first singer in question. Imagine their surprise, the judges and fellow competitors..lol He became an over night sensation in China and he LAUNCHED. Another artist you would be WOWED with is 18 year old Diana Ankudinova from Russia Guaranteed you have NEVER heard a voice like hers. Shaman, primal, haunting, mesmerizing and known as the Queen of Goosebumps.
