Very well done video. Shows both a trawler and a flybridge type boat going through the rapids. One going with the flow and two going against the flow.

Caught many a lingcod there 35+ years sgo. Also 1 18lb spring that almost jumped in our boat being chased by a pod of orcas.

Super dangerous for vessels to power against the current, especially for other vessels coming the other way (the right way i would say :P), people are better off just waiting.

the old man was very foolish and lucky his motor was too tired to put it through that abuse dumb move...and no ballast either easy to roll that old tub....damn lucky it didn't been there got the T-shirt
