As an old geezer now, I totally aspire to that song in more ways than I can count. One day, you'll see that after you've been there and done that (get off the couch and travel the world!), the Richard and Betty vibe is kinda bliss. Sharing the end game with someone you're that close with is an immeasurable prize. Way to capture it Dodie! Respect!

3:52 OKAY DODIE WITH THE SEAMLESS MASKING EDITING I SEE U also I got to meet you at vancouver after the show (candle boi LMAO), and despite being tired (and in a rush to leave) I am so thankful that you took a bit of your time to be able to say thank you (like literally I said "i'm so sorry but can I be selfish?" and you said yes anyways 😭😭) - but ahhh I am sorry I rambled a lot but yeah you're pretty much my fav artist. Again, it's been a huge privilege watching you grow as an artist since 2015 and inspiring me artistically ever since :')) i am glad you're doing better! hope you are at home and resting a lot! :^)

I felt so happy listening to your new song. It makes me feel so peaceful and content, and give me energy to continue fighting for my country's peace! I bought a ticket for your concert in Budapest in the end of January, and it was the best news of my whole month. But now I have no chance to go there because going abroad from Ukraine means that I have a chance to never come back, and this thought scares me to death. So I am going to stay here, and watch you and Orla's performance on my phone screen, and hope that I can have the opportunity to go to your next tour! Thank you for this project. It really helps a lot not to overthink my life right now. I hope you are safe and healthy!

So, one of life's MANY little tricks is that as you approach 80, time goes continually faster. If you think 24 to 27 has gone a bit rapidly, just wait kiddo; you ain't seen nothin' yet. At my place on the journey, you start to do interesting time calculi, like: "Let's see...She is 27 now, which means that I was... ummm.... 34 when she was born. Hmmm." BTW, this month's song is brilliant, and it really speaks to guys who were 34 when someone who is now 27 was born, so... REALLY nice job. Thanks!
