I'm so glad you talked about tour accessibility on your Instagram stories because as a person in a wheelchair, I wasn't able to come to your American leg of the tour because the show I wanted to come to didn't have accomodations for me :/
@michellerobinson56772 жыл бұрын
As someone who works for a venue I’m so so sorry your show was inaccessible. That’s illegal!
@clicky19962 жыл бұрын
I understand your frustration. I’m in a wheelchair too and it sucks so much that people can see shows with the click of a button, yet we have to jump through so many hoops, and even then we don’t get to see shows. I really hope you get to see her live one day. You have the same accessible rights as anyone else.
@julievictoria67812 жыл бұрын
I´m a wheelchair user as well and went to her show in Copenhagen and the accesibility was horrible and I couldn´t see shit, till my friend found a bar stool that we put up against the wall so I could get a view. dodie was wonderful but being in the whole other end of the room felt more like I was viewing someone else having their beautiful moments at a concert and not really being apart of it myself.. I really wish I had bought tickets for the meet and greet, but overall she was still amazing and I still cried watching the intro to her tour in the vid
@creativename32562 жыл бұрын
@@julievictoria6781 Oh no, I’m so sorry! I was actually thinking about this while watching her show in Oslo. There were seats at the gallery (which I ordered because of CFS), but you had to be over 18. So if you were under 18, it must’ve been pretty impossible to go to the show as a wheelchair user or someone with some other disability that makes standing difficult.
@sagezahnd31422 жыл бұрын
Yeah I had to leave one of her shows because of accessibility issues so it’s great to hear she’s talking about it!!!

It's cool that you say that because my eyes are very similar to hers and I always wished I had different eyes. (Only one color, a bright green maybe) Because everyone always thinks I have just brown eyes.

I got to stand in the front row at the Hamburg concert and saw you peaking out of the dressing room/ curtain thing during air so sweet and it felt so cute and exciting and then you came on stage and you’re like a fairy, it’s pure magic to watch you perform. It was so nice to meet you, you’re the sweetest. I hope you enjoyed the little gift! Have a great rest of the tour and lots of love 🫶🏻
