The fact she's not dead or in jail is a real testament to her strength of character. Now I wish she hadn't had to be that strong but she's still clearly a determined woman. Tremendous work once again Daniel!

Wow, having been born in the late 90's, I never realized Drew had such a wild past. Her image as far back as I can remember has always been extremely wholesome, kind spirited and innocent. It's crazy how this history of hers isn't more commonly known today, like Robert Downey Jr. for example. Thanks as always Dodford, for the fresh pop culture insights conveyed through extremely sophisticated mini documentaries.

Drew’s interview with Brooke Shields was so wonderful to watch because their lives paralleled one another. It’s a shame how this industry chews up young people and spits them out. It’s a miracle Drew and Brooke and other celebs have survived and built healthy lives for themselves.

True but it's NOT the industry but the sheer greed & being on a trans that makes the idiot parents focus on who is importantinwhat they are doing. But Drew's mom didn't do the crap Brook's mom did, that lady took her to inappropriate places like the Play Boy mansion & ewww just gross so Brook's life was worse from Drew's. Lacking parental supervision & love ❤️ 😢these golden nuggets I mean children were just that.

Still wild to me how back in the day teenagers were so openly sexualised by mainstream media, still happens now no doubt. But like its so sickening to see her go through her sex symbol nude photoshoot phase while she was still underage and making out with grown men on screen.

I genuinely love Drew Barrymore so much, she has always seemed to have such a wonderful personality. I also just loving seeing the stories of people that struggled horribly but made it back out, because it's always that cliche of like "if they can do that, I can do this" and like it's said all the time but I genuinely love it.

My Aunt is an MUA in Hollywood and has worked with Drew several times before. She says that while a lot the talent is kind, Drew is an Angel. She’ll go above and beyond for everyone and anyone she could. Sneaking in extra water and snacks for Hair and Makeup while they got her ready. She deserves all the happiness this world can give.

Also Adam Sandler was a massive help to her I think, he gave her a big part when he was one of the biggest stars around and she was still considered a risk. Something that one guy did for him, that one director gave him a chance when he was a major star but not considered right for drama.

What the hell does her mother mean ‘I would go my way and she would go hers’, she’s a child? No wonder they were estranged. As someone born in 2002, the Drew I know was from happily ever after, 50 first dates etc. I never knew she had issues with drugs and alcohol nor the way the industry treated her, this is shocking.
