Thanks Your video was more detailed and descriptive than the others on here. I’ve already changed the throttle body and alternator years ago so I know what a pain it is. Again thank you so much!

Quick question ... did I miss when the antifreeze hose/line got reconnected and did it spill a lot of coolant when it got removed ?
@choices31 Жыл бұрын
Hi good morning my humblest apologies for my tardiness, the main antifreeze line was at 1:33 mark. Usually there isn’t a lot of coolant, no I didn’t lose much, however I use a plastic bag to prevent lost of coolant

Lol I missed that being reconnected too but I just ended up doing it dead last and it worked out just needed a little finesse 😂

4:39 what is the red wire u have there how can I jump it from yellow wire
@choices31 Жыл бұрын
Hi good morning, the red wire was utilized to test the starter directly from the battery, whenever you turn the car key all the way to start position, the yellow wire receives current from the starter solenoid, which then provides the starter with current it needs to start the engine. You can utilize this process to verify if your starter is good or bad.

hello there, great job you did filming all this stuff sorry for offtopic, but maybe you could help me with any advice with my dodge caliber sxt '07 so the problem is starter cranking when driving. i already diagnosed tipm unit and it is ok, so i have no clue what this is i would really appreciate for any thoughts on this cheers

That’s a very interesting malfunction I will research that problem and get back to you as soon as I have it figured out, is there any check engine lights on at this time?
@dimaakinin599116 күн бұрын
@@choices31 hello, sorry for late response, no check lights, just it is just cranks randomly while car drives, no special pattern. so, to have opportunity to use car i did install a killswitch that disconnect wire that goes from TIPM unit to starter. so, to start a car i put a killswitch on, then start a car, then i put killswitch off, and it functions normally. also, i did forget to turn killswitch off once and it cranked while going at about 40 mph, so i quickly turned the killswitch off, and it stop cranking, so i could continue driving normally. previously to stop its cranking i had to pull off negtive wire from battery. any thoughts on this? is it TIPM or PCM or else that fails? thanks for your attention

What is the name of the line, just above your hand with the white sticker on it @2:59?
@choices31 Жыл бұрын
Good morning, I see what line you are referring to, allow me to take another look into it if it isn’t the shift cable and get back to you about that

I did the exact same with mine, didn’t start. I don’t know what it could be. I just replace the alternator a month ago.

Good night I understand, ask someone to turn the key to the starting position while you test the smallest wire on the starter for 12v if not check your starter fuse and relay

I did everything in the video but when I'm putting the battery back on I'm getting lots of sparks almost melting the post
@choices31 Жыл бұрын
Hi good morning Samuel I’m sorry to hear, please retract on your wiring to see if any signal or main wire was cross connected on the starter terminals (always disconnect your negative terminals prior to doing any repairs involving electrical)
