Very nice! I like the conservative lighting setup so its not overly blinding, plus, saves money.

Don't stare the warning lights and you won't be blinded😆

Another great presentation. The charger pursuit kind of looks futuristic. I can hear the exhaust rumble while idling..sounds like a hemi!

UK police cars don't have push bumpers.

@101327 Not that lad. UK roads are to narrow and UK police cars are not strong enough.
@nicholaspeberdy85375 жыл бұрын
@101327Sorta. You see UK police use a different tactic to stop a suspect.
@nicholaspeberdy85375 жыл бұрын
@101327 T-Pack. Tactical pursuit and containment. What happens is that one patrol car would go in front of the suspect vehicle one or two would go on either side and one would go at the back. Together they gradually slow down forcing the suspect to stop. The PIt maneuver is too dangerous here as it could make the suspect crash into oncoming traffic.
@ce99344 жыл бұрын
@@nicholaspeberdy8537 the PIT is incorporated in TPAC training as an element of tactical contact. It's rarely used, more because of damage to police vehicles and TPAC is much more safer and effective as you say. The reasons Americans don't use it is because putting a police vehicle in front of an offender gives them the opportunity to easily shoot at it if they're armed
@ce99344 жыл бұрын
@101327 completely agree our police over here are under equipped. The vehicles and kit used on our vehicles are a joke and always the cheapest. In London you'll find officers on response using 1.0l diesel Ford Focuses, or cramped Peugeot 308s that any officer of a reasonable height is cramped in. Not to mention, apart from BMWs used as ARVs and traffic cars, everything is civilian stock - so brakes and suspension cope awfully. Push bars technically could be used, but forces are afraid to implement them as it'll be seen as militarisation and see reactions like if we were to routinely arm police! Cost too, budgets are tight and everything is as cheap as possible - from uniforms to cars.

Why are the lights light read and light blue
@freedomfan42723 жыл бұрын
It all depends on where you're in the US. Some LE us all blue some red and blue same thing with fire departments. Some use red and blue others just use red.

@perrini201255 жыл бұрын
Alex Smith it’s most likely for a state highway patrol so no real need for side facing lights
@fab86573 жыл бұрын
I mean it's a Hemi Charger.... I think they have enough money to refuel her, so they could have had enough money for a bunch of lights. They simply did not want them.

Why did you choose the partition for your primary electronics location rather than a traditional trunk tray? Is it that much easier to access? Are you concerned about officers damaging or unintentionally disconnecting something by attempting to adjust their seat?
I think there needs to be some side marker emergency lights there. Top bar alone is not great visibility when perpendicular to traffic.
