You have no idea how much you’ve been helping me out lately Martin. A couple weeks ago I was about to replace my rear axle shaft and you uploaded a video the day before I was about to do it on how to take the axle shaft out. I live in Indiana and last week we had a pretty bad snow storm and I slid off the road and it ruined my bumper. I’m gonna be replacing it next weekend and you just uploaded this video today. Thank you for all that you do and I love your videos.

@tonysantamaria19Ай бұрын
My 97 Dakota also had 8 bolts and fog lights. My fog lights were attached directly to the chrome bumper. This is a huge undertaking. I had to order the lower part as well. Then I had to order all new bolts and u-clips. Some of the bolts had to be cut off. I had to remove two nut plates from the inner bracket that the mounting brackets are attached to. With all the work involved, I should've paid the extra money to get the two parts already attached.

@@martinbuilt the driving/fog lights for the 97-00 are a different design that has a mounting housing already built in and bolts to bottom of bumper. The 01-04 bolts into the airdam/ fascia and has an extra bracket like what you have on new bumper. What you got from pick a part is from an 01 on up Durango. I found out the hard way when I ordered a new aftermarket bottom piece for bumper but did not have the mounting option for the factory lights I had, so I had to switch to the 97-00 style. I'm in process of modding it for the style mine takes since the aftermarket piece I have is discontinued. As for the gear ratio on your 9:25 rear end, 410 gears really wake the 4.7 up... it's like the perfect match/mating and balances out everything from low to high as well as mpg.
