Dodge Dart - Rear Strut Shock Absorber Replacement

Even with a pipe wrench it was very difficult to seperate the mount and old shock. I would definitely recommend buying a new mount like you show in this video. Thanks for sharing, its good to know theres others who had the same struggles!

My problem with this is that my strut mount is welded onto the frame

Just done mine Pipe wrench will hold it easily while you take the top nut off

I have a 2013 Rallye is this the same procedure or would the shocks be different because of the years?

My front shocks are doing alright (knock on wood) but I might have to do the engine mounts soon. I'll be sure to make a video if I do

@@FierceMotorworks good morning at first God bless you for all your videos i have dodge dart 2016 with manual transmission and I have problem with shifting the gear is very jerk specially from 1st to 2nd gear its so so hard to shift what is reason my car passed 70k mile i hop you answer me thanks alot again

Hello @@نسيمالجنوب-و7ظ Hard shifting could be caused by loose shifter cables or work bushings in the base of the shift lever where the cables attach. Otherwise, it could be a problem inside the transmission if the syncro is worn out. My car has a similar issue shifting 1st to 2nd gear it sometimes grinds if I let the clutch out too early
