My step dad sold his v6 Camaro when I bought my 3v and got a hellcat. I did some math and if my car had the same weight as it does now and pushed only about 550 hp it would be about as fast. I didn’t take into account too much gearing but it’s crazy how much weight can change a race

I think the Dodge Demon is okay on a 1/2 mile drag because it does the same times as a 599cc sportsbike. If it hits 7.3 seconds to 10.5 seconds, It's hitting 1000cc motorcycle times. For a heavy car, that's really good in comparison.

Power to weight is so close it comes down to tires and drivers. More impressive is a 1987 Buick grand national with bolt ons can match or beat both. Mine was in the 11s with a upgraded turbo, intercooler, intake, injectors, wheels and tires, and a chip.

I just hate that it isn’t a true 2-seater and tries to accommodate four people. Impossible. If Dodge made it standard without the rear seats, my issue with the Challenger being a 2-door car would be resolved. However, as it tries to seat four, I will judge it as a four-seater. Hence my disdain for it as a coupe. 😅
