Dodge Journey ball joint replacement guide

Tire was flopping all over
How to replace change install remove press in ball joint Dodge Journey. This was a 2009 model year. Remove steering knuckle. Remove outer tie, brakes, strut, abs wire/wheel speed sensor, cv axle from steering knuckle. Probably the strangest way I’ve ever pressed in a ball joint. Reinstall everything, check torque specs. About 2 hours labor.

a press is needed for the job, you can rent for free a ball joint press at any major parts store, as far as the torch goes you probably wont need it, the shop press is only 80$ at harbor freight with everyday 20% off coupon or you can take the knuckle up to a mom n pop shop and have them press it in for ya for 25$ evrything else in the video can be done with basic hand tools, thanks for watching if you need any advice on future jobs make sure to sub and id be happy to answer questions, thx for watching and have a great day!
