Thank you gentlemen, my mechanic quoted me about $1000 usd to replace this part about $350 for labor and $600 for the part itself. Me and my son got this done in about an hour we’ve took it for a test drive and so far so good. Also no need to remove the coolant line from the reservoir we got it off without removing it. Very much appreciated you guys are saints 🙏

These guys are great and have helped me fix many things. Your right, not enough 2.4L. Try this other page. Motor city mechanics. 2009 dodge avenger has the exact same motor. Use them too

First thing first great videos. So I have 2015 dodge journey SE, and I was putting an audio converter in for a amplifier. Well I dont have a shop to work in but when I hooked the wires back up and started the vechile the engine light come on. So if i had a crossed speaker wire would the engine light come?

This is what happened to mine. I have a 2.4l. My daughter drained the battery which killed the alt and I got that replaced a month ago. Then 2 weeks later the dash lit up crazy and wanted to shut down (intermittently). Mechanic said throttle body and gas pedal.

I know this is an old comment but for anyone else looking for the answer: I had this same issue. You can sometimes put it in neutral via the little hole inside the middle console & start it that way for a temporary fix. But the underlying issue is the neutral safety switch needs replaced. It’s inside the transmission but not a super hard task. Edited to add that mine is a 2015 crossroad 3.6L

Could be different things. Today finally fixed the problem with my “lightning bolt and traction light issue”. It wasn’t the throttle body at all. Was the damn intake manifold gasket.

@@jruss6697 there's a ground strap on the driver side shock mount infront of it. Disconnect them and your fine maybe even the first wire
