Enjoyed the Dodge commercials. They were informative and entertaining. I remember Pam Austin but not the car so much.

That's why Dodge got rid of her. She was more memorable than the cars! 😄

With all due respect to the lovely and talented Ms. Pamela Austin, the Dodge Rebellion certainly didn't want me. I was just nine years old at the time these ads aired.

Pamela Austin was in that Elvis movie. A real cutie pie. Glad she was a Mopar gal.

Interesting how all of her '67 Dodge ads are cliffhanger damsel-in-distress scenarios. Wonder if this had something to do with her "Perils of Pauline" film, also from 1967.

That was an unsold pilot for a TV series. She did THREE of them (the other two were brief "demo reels")- and yet it never became a series.
@markk9458Ай бұрын
The producers did end up putting the pilot and the unaired episodes together and then put it out as a theatrical feature film.

Those are some neat Dodge commercials, and Pamela Austin looks so dog gone cute and even cutier with her brown sweater on top.

Is It True Most Of These Dodge Ads Where From The Bob Hope Specials?
@fromthesidelines6 жыл бұрын
They aired wherever Chrysler placed Dodge commercials at the time- including "BOB HOPE PRESENTS THE CHRYSLER THEATRE".

When "Mannix" left Interpol (he had a George Barris Toronado convertible the 1st season!) and got his private investigator's license, he drove a Dart convertible just like the one in the ad. I recall in one episode, Bad Guy Darrin McGavin made him drain all of the water from the radiator to crack the block & strand him in the desert. Geez, Darrin - just KILL him & spare that beautiful Dart!
