A lot of people went after these car - power & speed. So the car people- top sales on car - raised the price- changed the name. Same model- same motor v8 hammy so young & old went for them. High demand- high Insurance rates 😮. Some dealers mark up prices on them. 😮

Years ago my dad's work truck crapped out on him. He had me meet up with him to get him off side of the road and headed straight to our bank, got a loan then headed to the Ford dealership. We found a preowned Silverado with only 1000 miles on it. We head to the lobby (my dad wearing his dusty work attire) and the first two salesmen totally ignored our presence so my dad just talks out loud " GUESS NOBODY HERE NEEDS A COMMISSION" A 3rd salesman comes from the break area saying I do.... 1 hour later my dad walks out of sales office with the keys and tells one of the salesman that ignored us "this could have been your sale" as we headed out with the truck parked at front door waiting on us.

I never went to the dealership to buy my last four cars, they were all delivered to my home. The only thing I gave them was my signature, on a purchase agreement to pay the vehicles off in 10 days. If you go to a car dealership to buy money you're a fool, car dealers sell cars if you need to buy money you need to go to a bank before you go to the dealer and have your ducks in a row.

That's so bogus. I've seen videos of salesman trying to get some clout dancing and joking about markups. When they first came out, they were giving soldiers and veterans shit for buying them too tho. "You wasting yo whole signing bonus for that." "You went to Iraq and almost died for a car, y'all stupid." Every damn vet had one but it's cuz we got a deal and the dealer support was epic back then. They had a mini dodge dealer overseas and would get em tax free overseas in addition to a military discount. Few years back, there were so many used ones on the road that is was a good value for what you got and it's dope more people were able to get into the car scene at a low cost. I can understand the typical haters in their base model cars but salesman clowning their own client base is gross. Stelantis don't care tho cuz if they did, they'd do something about the markups and the salesman's who are disrespecting their brand & buyers.

I bought my charger 392 last year (last call) traded in my 2020 RT and had positive equity I left with my current car $42k out the door with 7% but regardless even if you have an 800 credit score they do not care they want the down payment so if you have a 230 credit score you could get one these guys don't care what you do with the car after you sign the papers but they clown you for doing it 🤷🏽‍♂️
