@@susancrawford5160 double check that it isn't your battery I had all these light errors and thought it was my alternator but turned out it was a dead cell battery

Mine was doing the same thing and it ended up being the grounding wire that goes from the starter to the battery

My car is doing the same thing but it's not the starter it's there auto shutdown relay I have a OBD2 scanner and that was the reading that I got

If it will crank over but won’t stay on it might be the alternator especially if all the lights are flashing on the dashboard or lights are dim and the lightning bolt/battery light is on

If it’s the alternator it will start but die after time if not given a jump all due to the bad alternator the battery is now going to go bad because it’s having to charge more so not only bad alt but the battery will go too if not fixed soon

Yeah it’s starts stays on for like 3-5 seconds

@@Upstate_sonic exactly and if it’s a battery you can simply Check it with a multimeter at the terminals 12.5 and up is a good battery. If it’s lower then it’s bad and you know your alternator is bad because it won’t stay on without extra power and battery needs charged or replaced
