​@ETHAN MAX MARTIN No, they really don't. I have driven the V10 Lambo, and the 8.0 in the 2002 Viper and the Lambo sounds MUCH better. There's no comparison. The earlier Viper engines sounded like droning burbly V8 engines (but worse). The V10 from Lamborghini or Audi sounds like the roar of an angel at the high rev range. That's another thing. The Viper doesn't even rev to 6k while the Lambo v10 revs to 8500. The Viper is fun... but the Audi/Lambo engine is so beautifully refined. It's also weirdly efficient. I drove a 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo HARD for 4 hours and only used $19 in fuel. The Viper (if driven hard) will use $19 worth of fuel in about an hour.

gen 1 hit 0-60 in 4.1 - 4.6 seconds. gen 2 hit 0-60 4 seconds gen 3 & 4 hit 0-60 in 3.9 - 4 seconds gen 5 hit 0-60 in 3.5 seconds
