Assuming that he does become a Dodger, I promise to be very patient with Roki Sasaki and keep my expectations modest. Everything I read and watch about him tells me that he's got insane upsides, but is also quite rough around the edges still. It took Ohtani a couple of seasons before he really settled in and started making his marks in the league. I promise not to be surprised if it takes Sasaki that long to be the superstar pitcher that everybody seemingly expects him to be right away.

Happy New Year Dodger Blue! My resolution is to hit the 'like' button more often. I am happily entertained by your content but often forget the 'like' button because I am 'subscribed'. Dodgers Resolution: I am going to try and refrain from reminding everyone that the regular season matters little, that we could be 3rd or even 4th in July and there’d still be little to worry about, since the postseason is merely like a youth select team tourney where all that matters is who gets hot…that the Dodgers would have to fully implode to not get into the tournament and once in, our chances will be strong.

Bo Bichette would be worse than Mookie on both sides of the ball. No thanks. That's why he's going to play SS. If we want someone like that, just stick Outman in center and move Edman to SS. At least Outman is cheap with an elite glove. Both had down years in 2024, so what's the difference? Outman had a great 2023. If we're gonna pretend the 2024 season doesn't matter, just stick with the slumping players this team has than spending the farm on someone who might not bounce back either.

@@ryanc9876 Or just sign kim and push Betts to second. Defensively, Betts is basically Lux at second but he's also Lux at short. I would rather sign kim, use conforto as part of a package for Hoerner, move Betts back to right and see if the twins are interested in moving Lewis and/or duran. If not, then go after Scott. Except for Kim, I don't think Friedman will pursue those other options. He just won't move Taylor, Lux, or Muncy, no matter how little they actually contribute on the field.

@@normlee6566 That might be the play if things don't work out. As the other commenter has mentioned, Kim isn't going to be available right away. For SS anyway. The rest? Nah. I don't think you get how valuable a lot of these players are. We'll all find out who is and who isn't worth keeping around during the next season though, so no use arguing about it.
