He was forced to use his gut? STFU with that stupid take. He used analytics to match pitcher to batters in all the bullpen games. The one time I saw him use his "gut" was when he went to talk to BT and decided to leave him in the game (not that he had a lot of choices). If the Dodgers would have lost, no one would be saying anything about this "gut". Ya'll would be saying the same lame old crap about this use of analytics.

Remember Aranado has a no trade clause, Aranado wants to go to a winning team, I don't know who would think a trade to the Angel's is a possibility, Aranado will shoot that down in a heartbeat, he wants to go to the Dodgers but they have Muncy and the Dodgers already vomited to him as their 3rd baseman.

Roberts was a scapegoat for bandwagon Dodger fans during all those years the Dodgers wont the West but couldn't win it all (blame the manager instead of the people who actually play the game). Roberts is a good manager and deserves the extension.

a little league coach could manage the dodgers. until the end of last year, dave roberts was a below average manager. he plays his favorites which costs us more wins than anyone. horrible judgement for the lineup card he trots out and his use of the bullpen. 98 wins last year? that's crazy with one of the best rosters of all time.
