You open a door that should be dig in a psychological point of view, what kind of mental disorder get out of this kind of relationship. As I have see through age, experience and knowledge, many times, the daughter has a narcissistic personality desorder and sometimes the mother was a covert narcissist who recognized herself in the narcissist behavior of her daughter and sometimes the mother is bipolar.
