In Puranas and Mahabharata, different Darshans are interwoven and complementary. Unfortunately, Neo-Vedantins have turned Darshanas into a running race between various Darshans. Apparently, Neo-Vedantins have not understood Veda Vyas or Ramakrishna. Ramakrishna himself was primarily a great Shakta Bhakta, although he practiced and obtained salvation from different paths. Different Darshanas speak about different aspects of reality. Different Darshanas are complementary. No Darshana is higher or lower. 🙏🏽🕉️🙏🏽

Darshanas are like the zoom level of a camera. All zoom levels will show you pictures but there is stark difference in those pictures. The max zoom level will show details that lower zoom levels cannot. Jivas based on their samskara/guna will pick the zoom level that satifies their desires. Its not a lesser desire, its what they are born with.

Respected Swamiji. I am sorry but I still do not understand. Where can I find the answer? What and who is God according to Advaita Vedanta

Advaita Vedanta, the main focus is on understanding that everything in the universe is fundamentally connected and part of the same ultimate reality, which is called Brahman. While some people may worship different gods like Hanuman, Mataji, Krishna, or Shiva, the key idea is to see beyond these individual forms and recognize the underlying unity behind them all. It's about realizing that, at the deepest level, everything is one and the same, rather than seeing separate gods as distinct beings.

Swamiji gives the example of gold and the different forms of gold like ring, necklace, bangles etc or the example of the waves in the ocean. The small waves are us, the bigger waves are the more elevated beings, the ocean is Saguna Brahman and water is Nirguna Brahman, the underlying substratum. Wonderful examples.

Ramakrishna said, your Ishtadevata is you own Self, externalized as object to be worshipped

My goodness this man talks a lot. If your mind confuses you, then he adds another layer of confusion on the top of the already existing layer of confusion.

When you accept world, you accept God. But you say only Brahman is real and world is imaginary. Then God is also imaginary. Why don't you say it openly, clearly? The questioner asked to remove ambiguity; but you left the question where it was. This only means either you are yourself not clear, or you are playing diplomacy.

Where is the ambiguity in 'aham brahmasmi'!?

Surely if we the beings are imaginary and unreal then the world and God too is imaginary and unreal .Only the substratum /fabric the Bramhan is real .All else is appearances on the Bramhan just like movie on the Screen . 11:11

Please read the book " विचारसागर" by Sadhu Nischaladasji, and another book " तत्त्वानुसंधानसार" by Swami Madhavananda. All your doubts be cleared if you have the clear perceptive frame of mind.

You are changing definition of god….god makes sense only if people exist You don’t talk experience of enlightenment….just playing with words is not evidence. It is not correct to compare advaita with other religions…that is absurd…Brahman is not god.
