I own many aliexpress rings that are silver and moissanite stones in them. I've had them 5 years and I wear them to work- (I'm a Hairdresser ) and they're all still in perfect condition . I paid on average 30/45 euros for them . I put them on KZbin to show how great they are

Great video! The rings could be mixed with sterling and other base metals to keep costs down but will still test as sterling. Kinda like adding breadcrumbs to burgers or meatballs

Most jewelers I have seen use 18k acid. I like that the bright blue is easier to see. ❤ great video series.

my secret's out! I had a coworker introduce me to the series maybe 9-10 years ago (I borrowed her books). It was a fun ride. I thought my teenage self would have been into it, but who knows. And who cares. My adult self is into it XD

Even my presidium reads diamond and moissanite the same. Your silver may be rhodium plated, so it doesn't tarnish.

That's a possibility, but I don't think they would do that since rhodium plating is pretty pricey, but maybe? Honestly I have no idea of their manufacturing secrets lol

Another great video! I wish I had a dollar for every time I have come across a piece of jewellery that isn't what the stamp says... I would be rich! I call it 'lying jewellery' and it is sadly so common.

AliEx is really good at refunding. The overall company does the refund so you don’t need to argue with the actual seller. It does go against the original seller as sellers though, so if it’s a fault or they were otherwise good to deal with, try them direct first. Most will bend over backwards to avoid bad reviews & complaints.

Sometimes by saying "silver" they just mean "silver color". I'm not defending them, that's just the way it is 🙂

An other simple test for moissanite is the UV lamp. Moissanite become beautiful pink😉 Kiss from Paris!

I hadn't heard that, but just tested my own (they do not glow), so I went on to do some research and evidently it's like diamonds sometimes they do, sometimes they don't :( darn it I was hoping there was an easy way! Thank you for sharing though! Per the internet: "When it comes to moissanite, its response to UV light can vary, depending on factors such as the gemstone's quality and the type of blacklight used. Although some moissanite gemstones may exhibit a faint glow under a blacklight, this property is not consistent across all stones and should not be solely relied upon for identification purposes. "

If you use the torch on your phone, it will show all the spatklies! I’m so glad you got some genuine silver in there. Again I’ve never bought any silver from AliEx as thought they were all fake 🤷‍♀️

I don't know much about the diamond testers, but as I understand, you need to remove your gloves to use diamond test as it has a conductive plate that you need to touch in back.

I hate all the shiny plated "925" or "s925" rings out there. I paid 40 for one with mystic topaz for a friend and not too long after, it turned her finger blue :/

I won't do gold because it's definitely fake and I don't want to waste the money to be honest! It's just so outrageously cheap there's no way it could possibly be real.

The fake stone is still pretty, it's actually pretty easy to make your own jewelry.

In the video I put the sellers on the screens and say their names. I honestly don't buy jewelry from aliexpress, except this one time, so I wouldn't know who to suggest other than the ones I had success with in this video. I would say if the price is too good to be true, it probably is!
