Jon, Richie, Desmond and Dianne are the mind of the song. Cher, the whole body. Kane is the soul.

This is defenetly best version of this song! Kane Roberts had so powerful hard rock vocal and this song remind me 80's on golden years of hard rock, glam and heavy metal era.

The whole album is fantastic. If only more people had actually heard it. This is a great ballad but it’s probably the only true one on the album. The rest is melodic hard rock

Lyrics I walk down the street, people passing me by They look you up and down but they don't look you in the eye I'm just another stranger in my own hometown Looking for a angel but heaven can't be found I said hey are you lonely tonight Hey I'm gonna make it But that don't make it right Does anybody really fall in love anymore Does anybody really give their heart to somebody Does anybody really have opened the door I know, I know, you gotta love somebody I know, I know, I've got to find somebody to love There's a sad face in the mirror and I'm sad to say it's me Like a ghost up in the attic only love can set you free I've been running round in circles on this roller coaster ride There's a lonely world around us, we get sucked in by the tide I said hey, love ain't a crime So why is everybody so afraid to cross the line Does anybody really fall in love anymore Does anybody really give their heart to somebody Does anybody really have opened the door I know, I know, you gotta love somebody I know, I know, I've got to find somebody to love I said hey, I'll be alright Cause I know that someone somewhere's gonna Say these words tonight Does anybody really fall in love anymore Does anybody really give their heart to somebody Does anybody really have opened the door I know, I know, you gotta love somebody I know, I know, I've got to find somebody to love

If you like this power rock balad stuff (and I do have soft spot for it as a child of the 80's) this is up there with the greats... Cher's version doesn't quite get there vocally for me, and Jon Bon Jovi didn't have the lungs either IMO.

Would've been a big hit if Bon Jovi released it in their New Jersey album. But they have I'll Be There For You, Bad Medicine, Born To Be My Baby, Blood on Blood... Damn Kane Roberts did a great job and paid homage to Richie's solo. But NJ would've been so much of a monster album if they released it with this. Jon would have a hard timd singing this with their other NJ hits especially living in sin.

Amazing job Jon, Richie, Diane, Desmond, great song. Also was a good decision to put Richie's solo in it, best part of it. Although this version is the most...how to put it...dim maybe. It doesn't shine. Even the demo Jon and Richie recorded in a basic track is better.

Bon Jovi actually did a version of the song since he wrote it. Kane and Cher did their own renditions and Bon Jovi never put it on his album. Kane did. I think he somehow earned rights to it. And he sings this song a lot better than Bon Jovi, which is hard to do lol
