Please I'm trying to ask everyone I talk to, about the series 3 watch. it keeps telling me connect to your iphone when i dint have an iphone, but when i see other people on youtube they can use their apple watch no problem without an iphone. theres no other button where i can press so I'm clueless, I won this apple watch as a gift 2 years ago and I cant seem to make any use of it

Is there a way to disconnect the watch from your phone? All I want is to use the watch for is the time and steps I walk for the day nothing else. I tried unpairing but the watch screen does not show the clock anymore and wants me to pair it again. Is there a work around?
