Me and my boyfriend are together for almost 3years. In Kerala ( I don't know rest of India). If you are Born as a hindu and unless you have a gf or bf to marry in right ages, you are ruined. The astrology is so strong and Stinky here that for making a marriage to happen, it takes 4 levels of firewalls to overcome. ALMOST ALL GOOD proposals will go burnt out and couldn't make it. Other religious people living here are either of love or arranged will marry on right ages to their rightly choosen partner and have a good family life. 95-99% astrology has bad or negative effect on the normal life of a hindu person. Stay away as far as possible.

I believe in Astrology and Pamistry. And made few predictions. But end of the day we all have to break free from pre occupied thoughts and beliefs. Sadhguru is just doing that. @@MimiTheHamster i am no expert but from what it looks like to me, it can predict things that have a high probability in your life, like it decides the "luck-factor" what people like to call it for achieving something. you're efforts definitely do matter here which something to be kept in mind. if it's related to your personality/ behaviour or about social attributes, i think astrology does a pretty good job there

Astrology for me is a Divination tool to explore myself - mostly my shadow/ the unconscious part of me, and to heal the trauma (from past life and early life). Btw, it helps me to see “myself” as an objective being - by that I transcend the self. I use Astrology a long time ago, but now, I no longer need it for myself - neither transit chart (which is used for prediction) - when I settle in the present moment and trust in the totality of life. But I still use Astrology to help some of my friends who are too trapped in their psychological process - because via Astrology, they view themselves objectively and not take their “ego” too seriously anymore. In my opinion, that’s the most meaningful way to use these Divination tools - as a guidance, not a prediction. Co-create with the Divine, not to be a slave of fate.

@@RufyImNotReadyToDie Here are some detailed examples for you: In my case, Astrology has helped me to learn about my "passive aggressive" side, that I don't own my anger (due to the influence of my Mars in 12th house: Mars is the planet of wars, of aggression, 12th house is the house of subconscious mind, of higher mind, of seclusion). I used to not understand why I behaved so strangely, and Astrology has taught me about my "dark sides", showed me where my wounds come from, my repressed emotions, etc. Besides, it taught me about the path of my life, what is the lesson I am here on Earth to learn about (via my North node: I used to be a really shy person who loves to observe but never shows up in the World, and my North node in Astrology shows me that this life time I am here to become visible, to "shine like a star", to share my talents that I have gathered many lifetimes to the World,...) and it has brought me to the path that I have never dreamt that I would walk on (become a person who shares ideas on social media and gains followers who trust in my advice and guidance). There's a lot more, but that's for the day. Just my case, but I do not want to reveal further details about my life just to "prove" to you. I respectfully disagree with the statement that the astrology will look at you and predict accurately. I have had 3 astrologers practicing and not practicing for financial gains who have never meet or have spoken to me have predicted accurately my past and future. I did not believe these prediction given to me in my 20s and 30s. Now in my 60s I realize they were accurate. This has completely changed my views about astrology in the last chapter of life. Astrology can be a path to spirituality if studied as a religious practice.

I think a lot of people aren't listening to his message with an open mind. He's saying that astrology as a practice/astrological predictions/the relationship between astrologer and client or audience influence the outcome of certain situations. This is definitely true. The planets he acknowledges have influence- and he also asks the question if you are going to understand what your influence is. By looking too much at the stars and anthropomorphizing their motion and then taking on that anthropomorphization, you're taking away your independent energetic potential. "Let the stars go anywhere"- this is wisdom that astrology as a practice/study/science can use. Let it go.

I think we should balance how much importance we give to your horoscope and to your own efforts. One should not look at horoscope as a rule book and do everything as per that. But it can be used as a guiding light to decide the macro dynamics of one's life. Also one must use it to be patient when in struggle and learn to be grounded when is too much success. Astrology is like any occult practice, neither good nor bad and it's effectiveness depends entirely on how receptive the person is to it. Anyone in the path of yoga, in total control of the mind, deep in consciousness is free from depending on faith of any kind. It's a damn shame that people who are in the path of yoga, seeking higher concepts of God n consciousness still get deluded by faith. Astrology and Jyotish is most about the calculations and intuitions which can not be attained just by taking one year course or something like that.... The best analysis can only be analysed by some enlightened souls like Sadhguru and it is not a cup of tea for everything.... There are very very few persons on this planet who knows much about Astrology and Jyotish... You can't negate anything if we not able to understand the things properly.. Even I don't know much about these two subjects but even I have some great experiences and not all can give you such experiences...

Yeah, as a Astrologer I always tell ppl prediction aren't always true because life changes all the time. Especially eclipses, they just change anything and ppls lives change. If u use it to predict things it could stress u out intensely. Sometimes it's best not to know. Just live your life without fear and follow your heart.

Years ago a friend of mine was struggling in all aspects of his life. He got fired from his job. His wife left him and slept with another man. They fought and he was put in jail. Nothing was going right for him. So, I pulled up an Astrology reading on his life. In the prediction, it said 5 years from that point, his life will get substantially better. He brushed it off as superstitious mumbo jumbo but went on with his life. Five years later, I got a call from him saying that he had since opened a business and was doing pretty well. He bought a 5 acre home in upstate NY. His wife came back and they have 3 more kids (they had only one when he was struggling). Recently, he sent his teenage son to a $40k per year boarding school. Predictions are useful in giving you hope so you can endure just another day until you are out of your slump. Note that the prediction for my friend was not (could not be!) in detail. It was just a vague glimpse to help him hang on. In that sense, it is ok to take a peek of what's to come. Indeed, it might even motivate you to work harder. My friend did!

Another true story to help you keep going: Decades ago a friend of my parents was struggling financially. Her husband could not find a steady job for years on end. So, they had to borrow money from friends and relatives for living expenses. When they can't pay back, people came to their house demanding their money back. One day, while he was out looking for work, one lady came to their house demanding her money back. The children had to open the door because she threatened to break it down. Their mom hid in the bathroom to pretend she's not home while the lady raised hell in the house. One day, a fortune teller passed by their house. The lady in debt told him she'd like a reading but was too poor to pay him. So, he told her she can pay him back when she becomes rich. She laughingly told him, "At this point, I'd be happy to have enough money to pay all my debt! I don't even have the motivation of dreaming big" He told her soon she'll be so rich, she can't even count her money! A few months went by and her husband was sitting on a park bench feeling sorry for himself when suddenly he saw an old friend of his walk by. His friend asked him what he's been doing and he said he's in bad shape. The guy told him, "I got rich from construction contracts with the U.S. military. Come with me and I'll show you how". It was the late 1960's and the Vietnam War was in full swing. The U.S. government pumped millions into construction projects in Vietnam and they needed all kinds of projects. Needless to say, the man became very rich arranging for construction projects just as the Fortune Teller predicted. Thomas Jefferson once said, "If you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on. If you need to, tie another knot!" Hope this helps you hang on just another day!

Astrology is real, but he is correct when he talks about how we know more about someone by looking at them. But this is because every sign, house and planet works like a cube- each has different flavors to it. It’s like Pluto having different shades of gray. Which shade is the correct one, well who knows, but that’s why it’s important for an astrologer to use both her intuition and her knowledge of astrology. If on top of that she uses psychology, bingo. She’s easily one of the top astrologers, because astrology ALONE won’t give you everything and anything. You need your intuition about the person too. Also- Astrology isn’t deterministic. You can change your destiny and your beliefs etc. Most people don’t, they just go with the flow of their own determined traits which is why astrology works. As soon as someone becomes very self aware and is able to change his mentality, attitudes, beliefs, behaviors etc., then astrology can’t easily predict his future. A lot of astrologers give it a bad reputation because they call themselves professionals, but few are those who possess the gift of true astrological knowledge.

What he says is sooo true...we become wt v beleive.And finding genuine astrologers is very difficult these days.Most of them try to create a sense of fear and make money out of it.So if somebody predicts sumthng negative, v wud just think"oh my god!!!its gonna happen!its gonna happen!"and bring dt negativity into a course of action.So just beleiving in divine power and ourselves is much more better.thts just my opinion😄👍i hv nothing against astrology

People should understand what they did wrong in past n how they do right Karma's for their happy life or for their next birth. Astrology is mainly used to see one’s own nature and be able to empower it. I personally don’t study Astrology but I know a little bit. For me Human Design is wade more practical and useful when it comes to navigate life in the present.
