Notice how the sign at 3:50 says "Bielefeld-Zentrum" (Center of Bielefeld) while it does not say anything about the outskirts. How can you get to the center without passing through the outskirts first? Which lets me believe that maybe there is some sort of secret way to teleport there. You should visit the "Externsteine" in Horn- Bad Meinberg (near Detmold). It's a Stone Formation in the Teutoburger Wald. Pretty nice area.

While your in the region, you can try a very, very delicious local beer! It's called Herforder Pils from the city of Herford which is like 10 km away from the supposed location of Bielefeld. Also, Herford has a beautiful old city and a lot of history so if you got the time, give it a try :)

3:32 it has been over 15 years since i have last been at that site with my grandpa who has since deceased. I remember that back in the day some idiot had vandalized the statue with paint and the entire area under the roof was blocked off for that reason. Nice to see that it has been restored - and in fact the platform around it looks bigger (and newer) than i remember it. I used to work in Bielefeld, somehow i made it out of there, now im free and live in Cologne. When you try to find it next time give the "Externsteine" a visit. Some beautiful rock formation wich you can go up to the top and have a nice view. Rumours say you can even see Bielefeld from there. ;)

Fun fact about the battle of Teutoburg: it marked the end of the roman expansion plans into what they called Germania. After that they build the Limes (a giant wall that marked the border to Germania) and had some revenge wars against the german tribes. The fun fact is, that todays people in the EU only speak their languages because of that battle in Teutoburg. Every other "nation" that got defeated by the romans adopted their language in some way. Later on the germanic speaking tribes went over to the british islands and took the german language with them. A new mix was created out of roman, gaelic and german = english. Thats why so many words in the english language are very close to todays french, italian and german language.

Now, there is one reason I want to know that Bielefeld is real...I think it was 3 years ago, Hannover finished 1st in the 2nd Liga and moved up and I think it was Bielefeld that beat Braunschweig to keep them in the 2nd. Hannover had a big party at the Rathaus and a guy walked up wearing a Bielefeld Trikot. Because they kept Braunschweig down, this guy became a rockstar immediately! The crowd was basically showering him with beer! Fury in the Slaughthouse was onstage but this guy and his jersey was the center of attention! Hahahaha

And because Arminia won against Braunschweig (6-0!) we helped Hannover to go up to the Bundesliga and Arminia stayed in the 2. Bundesliga. That´s what friends do.
