hmmm...I am Kayli's long time fan, but the reason why people are confused is because they have seen an instagram that is related to her that is commented on by family members. No one is jumping on this just for fun, I think people are confused by the mixed message of this video--since they said she had no social media. It's okay to comment if Kayli brings it up and says she doesn't have it, right? The opinion matters because it is the purpose of this youtube video, to say she doesn't have it. some kids who didn’t have social media growing up end up having poorer social skills (mainly because teenagers use a LARGE amount of their communication and bonding through this nowadays) so taking away a big part of normal current teen hood could make her not as socially aware and informative on the world and what it has to offer and teach

I don’t have social media aside from Tik Tok and youtube. I’m in the 7th grade and my science table was kind of making fun of me saying I need to ask my parents for Instagram and or Snapchat. My brother got those things around my age so if I asked they might say yes but like what’s the big deal? I mostly use my devices to watch KZbin, Tik Tok, and to chat/face time with my friends that live across country. I don’t NEED Instagram or Snapchat and I don’t think a 12/13 year old should just download it without asking.

I feel like it’s kind of hypocritical to build an entire career off of social media as a grown woman but then telling your teen daughter she can’t have any. I mean things like Instagram and Snapchat were made for younger people, teens are the intended users and target audience. Brailee can make it private and you can follow her to make sure she’s not posting anything inappropriate. I don’t see the big deal. I think it’s overly strict and helicopter parenting when parents don’t allow their teenagers to participate in teenager things. Let her live a little!

Right now, Brailee’s online presence is completely dictated by Kayli for monetary purposes. I think she should have some say as to how her online persona is orchestrated. *not slamming Kayli because I think she is one of the very few people who responsibly vlogs her children in a non-exploitative way. But Brailee’s presence and endorsement of brand deals on IG seems a little iffy, given that’s she’s not allowed her own insta for non-monetary purposes.*
