I remember a time when Pyro & Cryo were considered the strongest elements in the game. Ganyu, Ayaka, Rosaria etc I remember there was outrage that Electro was trash. Even awhile after Raiden and Yae Miko people still said Electro was weak. So I guess since the game has evolved to today. People now consider Dendro & Hydro the strongest and best elements along with Anemo. And Geo & Cryo the weakest elements. Do you share those same thoughts?

I tried her with a few units she just seems bad. Especially with how much people praise her. Compared to Bennett and Xingling who are overrated but are good, diona just seems bad. Im not really sure why people call her good. Her shield is okay but eh... It is nice having most old 4 stars C6 so i can actually talk about this. Charlotte sounds like the best healer in the game if she works how it sounds. Barbara for example needs to be on field NA for team heal, same for Noelle (Noelle is my favorite so i can speak). Bennett heals 1 person up to 70%, and Kuki is OP but only heals active character as well. Neuvillette Furina and Charlotte sound like a wonder combo that only requires 1 extra to get the bonus stack on Neuvillette. Even if Charlotte is only 60% Nahida that will be giant for her.

@@universalgamer8010 Diona is mostly considered good as a f2p option for a cryo battery in teams which don't really need the application, but can use the four or six (cant recall) particles from her skill. Her healing is also useful and the shield is particularly good in teams whose damage dealer may benefit from resistance interruption, like Eula (Even if she gets ir from her talents). Additionally, she triggers cryo resonance. Also: irrelevant but free shield in coop w c2?? lol. its been a while since i used her

Nice Video. I’m personally running 2pc emblem/2pc clam set (ER/Atk/Healing Bonus) on her as I will most likely run her with Shenhe in double cryo teams (Shenhe holds Noblesse) while she’ll be with HP scaling characters in a solo cryo team (Neuvillete/Furina) which renders Noblesse pretty much useless. Planning to C6 her launch. HYPE IS REAL.

@@yohane2787 You can play Hu Tao with healers though. Hu Tao with Bennet and Kazuha and a Hydro unit like Xingqiu or Yelan goes super hard. Mona or C4 Yanfei with Prototype Amber and with 4-piece Maiden Beloved would work great in a Hu Tao and Furina team.

I think she's great as she enables you to go hyper neuvillete with furina (if you have c1) while also using kazuha. A party wide healer is essential for and that's why the prime option was to use jean and 'replace' kazuha (jean can hold viridescent and furina can give more damage bonus thus they both replace kazuha) and to get 3rd stack for neuvi, you have another element hence sub dps from fischl or zhongli for more res shred (terrible since jean is there hence fischl is better). This team is projected to be insane But, neuvillette's hyper carry team (neuvi, kazu, mona, zhong) is already insanely good. So charlotte gives the work around by replacing zhongli to get final stack and party heal, furina replace mona for more dmg bonus and kazuha remains for more dmg bonus. Plus whatever buffs neuvi, buffs furina so you also get strong sub dps. I guess cryo also helps with mobs since you can freeze them and group them easier On paper, the team should be insanely strong especially if you get to c2 furina to max her burst stacks quickly.

Most of the gripes for character kits is mainly centered around Spiral Abyss. Everyone forgets that the overworld outside of Spiral Abyss exists entirely. A lot of the post-launch characters are fun toys to use, but everyone wants them to be able to clear Spiral Abyss in 0.1 seconds while dealing "absolutely insane damage" every single hit. There is no chill.

@@vodaz9109 Not much to do in overworld (I've done nearly all prior to Fontaine). That being said, I mostly play Genshin for combat and co-op. National variants, Dendro, and Itto teams can comfortably clear abyss. Last night, I sat through the first part of the 4.1 Archon quest, and it's so boring. The game has been death by dialogue for ages. The story is good, but the plot progresses way too slowly. The initial release of Inazuma felt like it was just more of the same, but with eLeCtRiC sAmUrAi¡¡¡ Keeping track of clan names isn't my thing. Neuvillette is somewhat fun to play, but I remember being disappointed playing Ganyu after her latest rerun which I realized was because it's still the same core game. Tbh, I was surprised that they are able to come up with so many different character mechanics (effects of skill, burst, talent). Overcomplicating the combat system with more mechanics of Pneuma / Oustia and HP fluctuation isn't going to make combat more exciting. The characters that I look forward to are always disappointing. I wanted Yae Miko as a primary DPS because I liked her character (though she's since grown really annoying in her event portrayals), they made her support with an extremely long rotation. I was really interested in Dehya :| I was interested in Wriothsley, but they essentially decided to C1 lock him as I have no use for him at C0. I'd be better just investing into constellations of the characters that I already have. Cryo's not even needed now between dendro and pyro being able to tackle hydro / electro. Overworld bosses are just smash through with Itto, abyss bosses like the golden wolf lord and the new electric one is just waiting for it to come down for an attack window, really exciting... At least they finally introduced the daily reward mechanic, feels like what Genshin should have been / was meant to be since mid-Inazuma.

I already have a full build for my charlotte. i plan to build her as a sub dps - healer with furina. My build consists of the sets +atk 18% and +atk 18% (For the full healing experience and maximizing damage from her e whether hitting a crit or not. I have put by pre build on my lvl 20 lisa with the skyward atlas (lvl 90) and she now has over 2900 ATK at lvl 20 on lisa. Lmk what you think of this build. i think itll be perfect on her considering her ascension stat is ATK+ over lvling up.

You'll probably want two Fav weapons on the team at minimum but it should work. That is four characters with fairly high ER requirements. I'd suggest 4pc Emblem on Beidou and Fav GS. Fav on Charlotte and Festering, the Pipe from fishing or Fav on Furina. Otherwise you may end up needing to build ER on Eula. I'm not sure how it would compare to her existing teams though. It seems worth trying out at least.

@@Nowaylarry the other thing that could be nifty is going 4pc hunter and take the 36+15% cr boost and move that into cdmg and playing her for DPS instead of focusing too much on her burst dmg, which is the thing most people complain about is missing the Crit. Won't matter as much if you play around getting normal att damage up.

Her issue is that she's kind of outclassed by Mika. Any team that you think about putting her as the healer to assist like Furina team, Mika is better if you can use him. He heals better for stacks, generate energy better and has other niche like physical crit dmg for Eula or atk speed for Wanderer. The only time she can ends better is for units that don't do much NA like Ayaka/Ganyu and that's it. Even TTDS can't save her it's too wonder if Hoyo actually paid attention to their beta. This feels like a Kuki and Dori situation where they were supposed to be sidegrade but the former completely outclassed the latters in the most important scenario. Right now, there's no purpose for CHarlotte existence as Mika is just her but better.

I think Charlotte suit best for Furina, cause her heal scaling from Atk not from HP. Supposed that we hv 4 member in party that already drained their HP to 50% or below. Charlotte can heal 50% or even 90% of her HP herself more easily than other healers with HP scaling cause their HP gap are too much for them. And since Furina get her fanfare stack from changes of HP%, i think it's best to hv many member with less HP build, except Furina.

Her multipliers are low, so her damage is weak unless you give her the premium 5* weapons with crazy high ATK and crits and play her as a dps in a melt team. And her healing, while powerful, is locked behind an expensive 80 cost burst, and it only lasts 4 seconds with a 20s cooldown.

Why is she being compared to people like Koko and Baizhu who exists for their own metas. Building her ATK and ER isn't something we're exactly new to either. Idk, I just feel like she's really good, but people are expecting EVERYONE to be prominent damagers. Like yao yao, not received well for the same reasons.

@@touchedme1637 She's not a "Pure healer", she only heals ONCE every 20 seconds because of long burst cooldown, and that's assuming you even have enough ER to battery her. Her healing is locked behind her burst, which is also restricted behind an expensive energy cost and a super long cooldown, and it also lasts super short. Only her burst heals, while the rest of her kit DOES NOT heal at all. She's not a pure healer like Qiqi, kokomi, Baizhu and Yaoyao who can all heal with both their skills and bursts. She only heals once in a blue moon, but that healing is VERY strong. I think her strongest selling point here is her function as a cryo driver, since she's the 2nd fastest cryo applicator right behind Ayaka. Her strong healing from her burst should just be treated as an extra bonus, since it only lasts a short duration (team-wide healing upon cast, and then a field that heals the active character and deals cryo damage to enemies over time for 4s) with an extremely long CD (20s). She's not a pure healer.

Charlotte would be the better pick. Furina drains all members HP, and for her burst it's better to use a team wide healer and to gain stacks fast. Kokomi and Qiqi need to be on field in order to do that. The last slot should be a anemo user with VV, I recommend Lynette cause she buffs ATK in that team by 16% every time she bursts.

No, I will definitely pull her. Wriothesley may be the 1st 5 star catalyst but he ain't what I was looking for! 😩 I just wanted a cryo version of Yanfei, is that too much to ask??? I bet they delayed releasing a cryo long-range NA attacker as much as possible though, because then that character will dominate and break the balance of the game. Everyone will be using a freeze--no, PERMAFROST Team once that character is released. Everyone will probably be pooling their primos for that character. But I'm inclined to think they're reserving it for the Tsaritsa/Cryo Archon who's rumored to be a cryo catalyst (and also who I'm convinced is a revived Signora or something).

Actually a better team would be neuvillete/furina/kazuha and mika, the reason i think mika is gonna be better is because she applies too much cryo and will make it harder to swirl hydro while mika only applies cryo once with his skill, also no need for fischl in his teams anymore because furina replaces her

As it stands currently, she is mostly pointless outside of a few niche cases when paired with Furina. Furina herself has other better options in most cases. Granted most of those options are 5*s or 4*s that require constellations to work properly with her (Jean, Kokomi, Baizhu. c6 Noelle, Sayu). For what it is worth Mika actually works pretty well with Furina as well and has some upsides if also paired with normal attack focused carries. I suspect Charlotte will get some additional use cases before Natlan but for now I'd not really bother building her unless you like her or lack other options.

I honestly think she has potential with good cryo application and healing. I am not sure how good she will be for forward melt if her skill has a Icd. But she might have the most consistent cryo application after Kaeya
