GBE one of the most influential groups ever. Below is everything they started, popularize, and influenced 1. Slang: THOTS 2. Slang: Squad 3. Slang: Savage 4: Slang: "No New Niggaz" - Reese invented specifically. 5. Popularized: "Loud" for weed but Atlanta invented 6. Popularized/invented: Mix match designer everything with designer belts and BROUGHT BACK Air Force 1s into mainstream 7. Invented: "Fuck nigga" which white people turned into "fuck boy." 8. Invented: mumble flow (Chief Keef AND Capo did) 9. Invented: stutter flow (Reese invented on "Us" and "I don't like" verse. Rick Ross, Drake, and Rihanna used flow on couple singles in 2012. 10. Popularized: Tighter clothing for actual street dudes. Before them, tight clothes were only worn by Odd Future dudes, industry goofies, and Lil Wayne. 11. IMPACT on the rap game: they brought rap out of that YCMB, MMG, fake studio gangster bullshit and brought back real organic street music Carti, Tay K, 21, Kodak, Pump, Uzi, and Yachty are all GBE sons. GBE BABY.

Some people don't wanna admit or probably would hate to but Sosa definitely made a huge impact on the music scene so many people stole his styles it's ridiculous you can't compare these new rappers to him because he put out like 3 life times of music meaning his shit never gonna get old because his sound was ahead of its time from Late 2011 all the way up to now he made/still is making trends and he only 22 he's a Young Legend and honestly I don't think anybody will make the impact as a 16 year old all the way up to now like he did or any other ages period lol this is not a debatable topic at all bruh lol it is what it is folks gotta start giving credit when it's due

He aint sellout for mainstream? He came in the game using the same formula for success as previous rappers:marketing Black murder, Black death, straight up violence. It worked for Snoop Dogg, Dr.Dre, and many others.

+lifestraight he never sold out tho... he was rapping bout that stuff before he blew up in 2012... plus im 100% positive there was more violence happening in chiraq at the time than La in the 90's, so it's more believable than dre & snoop also... quit fuckin hating
@lifestraight
@lifestraight 7 жыл бұрын
Noah You don't get it. Selling out isn't just about switching up for money. It's about adopting or applying any position for profit. Gangsta rap has always been marketable because it is controversial, anti-establishment, counter culture, and provocative. White kids love gravitating towards "slum" music. They are enamored with how the "ghetto Blacks" live and think. Also you are dead fuckin' wrong dummy. There was FAR MORE violence in LA AND Chicago during the 90s than 2012. Do your googles dummy.
@Lonelysportofboxing

@@lifestraight I guess your definition of the terminology “sell-out” is sorta different from theirs.
@Lonelysportofboxing
@Lonelysportofboxing 2 жыл бұрын
@@lifestraight but hey some people are not gonna look at it as rappers talking about the same topic which is black on black crime being betrayal/sellout if you’re at odds against them regardless of you being the same ethnicity. SellOut means betraying the people you know personally!! Not an entire culture of your kind.

I really wish there can b some type of stress relief between artist in form of paintball,like Joe said. I think that's a great way to end rap beef. you get your crew,I get my crew, 1000 per head or more.. when it's all said and done,everybody goes out too eat, share some laughs talk shit,about who shot who squash the beef and then hit the studio for a smash hit.
