This stuff works well,I now live in KY and have acreage.The first thing I've done was put out a camera then 3 plots of Deer Cane.All I can say is how amazing it is bringing in so many different bucks and a few does.My neighbors are anti hunters so I just need to decide what caliber to use for drop in the tracks power I always hunted with a 54 cal sidelock and bow. I'm thinking a 180 grain 30:06 should do the job. I'm great with my shot placement.I just don't want any hit deer making it to my neighbors property which is about 70 yards left,right,and forward of my stand site.Most of my bow kills are heart and lung and maybe travel 30 yards or so,The 54 sometimes drops them in there tracks.I have pics of a huge buck in velvet just need more daytime photos of him to start sizing him up.So many different bucks and several are always there at the same time every day.

So how did the deer cain work out for you?? I never had much luck with it but have had decent luck out of the mineral rocks they sell.
@LifeOnTheRidge2 жыл бұрын
Really couldn't tell that it helped that much!

Deer canes salt and baking soda mixed together , it’s more of an attractant than a good mineral

that stuff will work trust me, i have used that and some other's like it. you got to give it time to work into the ground, and then the deer will paw at it and actually dig a whole in the ground over time. also give lucky buck a try i use that more than the deer cain, they seems to get at it sooner here in michigan and do the same thing, they paw and paw at it but you have to have it sink in the ground, got to give it time to soak inn.

They had definitely been digging where I put this. I guess it hangs around for awhile. I’ll have to try and find that lucky buck brand. Appreciate the comment and thanks for watching!

Put the Deer Cane out at two different sites and the deer never touched it.
@LifeOnTheRidge2 жыл бұрын
How long have you had it out? A subscriber mentioned that it takes time for the deer cane to soak into the ground. I've found that the deer have been to the sight pawing at the ground.

Try some water softener salt you normally get it at Lowes, Ace, or just about anywhere....its like gravel sized salt once it devolves in soil the deer 🦌 love it

Appreciate the tip. I’ll keep that in mind!
