Kendrick put the nail in the coffin with ‘Not like Us’. Kendrick has shown more versatility in beat, flow and angles. Kendrick so far has uncovered more and has been striking the nerves of Drake. Drake saying ‘you short’ in most songs is mid. Kendrick is releasing songs like they come easy to him when Drake and his ghost writers are struggling. It’s not even close. The only topic was ‘who makes the more listenable song tho’ and the recent release from Kendrick has done the most numbers so far.. ⚰️

If drake smokes Kendrick it will be very embarrassing for Dot can’t lie and I think he will. Poet is talking like drake ignored his DM or beat a girl he fell in love with. Drake came into the game and had to prove his worth like any rapper who is not born in America. Yes nerdy but he has got money and his bossed up I don’t get what the problem is. With regards Drake being his “authentic” self : - this comment stems from all the cultural gatekeeping that has become prominent. If you speak to a lot of older black Brits they’ll tell you that a lot of the slang prominent among today’s black grime/drill artists has been ripped from their US counterparts. Black people in the UK never used to refer to each other with the N-word. This has been imported, so arguably these artists are not being their “authentic” self. At the end of the day, people are just mad at Drake because he’s the most successful in a field that values material success above much else. Ironically, his success is largely down to his refusal to confine himself to labelled boxes which has grown his audience. His competitors’ need to keep it real limits them

Kendrick is my GOAT through and through. Not the biggest Drake fan but push ups was fukn excellent. That was If "You're Reading This It's Too Late" we were heading. I do feel like he gets too much shit for experimenting with other genres. The idea that you should confine yourself to one sound/area/style is the literal death of creativity. Let the guy experiment.
