@@dereksstupidmusicchannel yeah with enough time spent editing, you can do a hell of a lot. nobody's downplaying his achievement. Jim knew he'd reach the most afflicted audience by just focusing on guitars, it's also his primary instrument. gearheads and guitar nerds online at large are by far the most susceptible to marketing, if you want to try to change their mind you have to start somewhere critical to their belief. Jim did it with ample evidence and presented it in a way that's actually convincing to someone who's lost in the sauce.

What brand of rubber band should I buy? Does the color of the rubber band affect tone? Should I cut a port hole in the tupperware? Should I get standard clamps or locking clamps? Is frettless more difficult to play than fretted? BTW, I play mostly heavy rubber. 😁
