Lack of movements, No pattern of play are one of our big problems. Dalot playing in the midfield keeps him away from crossing which is his good attribute. We become a counter attacking team when bruno or Rashford has the ball. The first touch of some of our players is poor which makes it impossible to play out from the back.

his record speaks for itself, it's only manager sacking apathy that is saving him from being sacked. I'd love a period of stability and success to deflect away from the manager, but they are not playing for him and they probably don't believe in what he is trying to achieve

Why should they believe in what he is trying to achieve? Do you go to your job and down tools because you don't believe in what your boss is doing? You are being paid to do a job and that job is to do what the manager says, even if you don't believe in what he is doing.

@@inthegutterstaringathestars It's basic human psychology. If your manager keeps telling you to do something and it keeps failing over and over and over again you're not going to trust in what he's asking you to do anymore, and you're not going to perform to your best no matter how hard you try. @@creepingbrain The players don't want to play crap? Are you sure? This is the same culture and cycle as the last 10 years. You are right it is basic human psychology. If you can goof off then you will. Why do you think it is your concern what the manager does? Is that your job? No, you get paid to do your job not the managers job. If you think the manager is poor, so what, that is their concern. If it fails then it is on them but if you are deliberately playing poorly to get the manager sack then that is out of order. They get paid to manage. You get paid to play.

@@inthegutterstaringathestars The players aren't deliberately playing badly. Stop this nonsense. And why are you banging on about the last 10 years? This is Erik's team, these are mostly HIS players. And whatever the "culture" is within the group, that is the manager's responsibility too.

The British media has sacked Ten Hag already, watching from abroad im actually so tired of it I'm numb about the situation. I want Ten Hag to succeed, but he's had mountain of problems to deal with. No other managers are scrutinized as much as United. I think he's handled these well, and i know he's become robotic at press conferences. But you would be that way if you keep getting asked the same questions, and that Liniker comment after the FA Cup was about as unprofessional as it gets. I believe he needs to complete the season, we've made knee jerk decisions for the last 11 years. The team has barely been together, plus all these bloody international breaks to start thr season. The media pile on is not giving anyone time to get used to eachother. Imagine buying Lenny Yoro and never having a chance to play him lol😂😂😂. Anyway i think the biggest problem is he won't drop Rashford or Bruno, 80% Bruno's game is trying to find Marcus with Hollywood passes. And we know what happens next, Rashford kills the attack somehow. Anyway, i hope he stays

"Downing tools" is just a stupid catchphrase used by the ETH cult to absolve the manager of any responsibility. He's setting the team up to fail. He is the problem. He needs to get it sorted right now, or he's gone. @@creepingbrain A stupid catchphrase to absolve the manager of responsibility? So you think the players put in effort against Twente and Tottenham? @creepingbrain
@creepingbrain 2 сағат бұрын
@@inthegutterstaringathestars Sounds like you're admitting the tactics are bad. Good, that's a start, we can all see how badly he's setting up the team, I'm glad you're onboard with that. But the idea that the players should just get on with it and find a way to overcome ETH's incompetence is a bit weird. Every team in this league has a manager who's tactically astute, and that's why even the weakest teams can dismantle us. That first Spurs goal was a disgrace. And of course the players have to take some responsibility, but this is what happens when players don't trust in what they're being asked to do, or being put in positions that expose their weaknesses, they second-guess everything, hesitate, switch off.
@inthegutterstaringathestars
@inthegutterstaringathestars 2 сағат бұрын
@@creepingbrain You can pretend anything you like. How does that make you any different to your perception of Ten Hag? It makes you both delusional and incompetent, in your mind, if you cannot engage with what people say rather than reading into what people say what you want. I am saying the tactics might be bad but how would we know when the players are not carrying them out? How is it weird? As I said do you do your managers job? I find it weird that you are on a Utd forum, suggesting you are a fan or a troll, and yet want to do nothing except run down everything about the club EXCEPT the players. Again. Why do the players have to trust? NO just do what the manager has told you to do. If it fails then it is on them. When they did actually follow the manager's tactics, they played well against Crystal Palace but just could not finish. I think some players got worried that ETH's plan might just work. Ok players take some responsibility. Given they were the ones on the pitch playing the game, how much responsibility do you ascribe to both parties?

United have a serious lack of quality in the front line. No forward can beat a defender 1v1 which seems to be why ETH keeps trying to play his "transition" football. Rashford and Garnacho losing the ball over and over is a major reason we can't control games. Priority in January/Summer has to be wide forwards and a left back, hopefully we can sign Zhregrova in January as he'd give us something we badly lack in forward lines. Kudus would be superb as well, or Kvat from Napoli on the LW should be high on any list for next season.

ETH talks about believing in the process without any visible improvement, forget about results. In his process, did ETH made himself accountable on our big two losses? Don't think so. He does not learn from his mistakes. He blames players, injuries, and what not? Vs Liverpool and Tottenham ETH did nothing on the system even when we were played over. With 10 men could have played high line, compact midfield. Went on man marking with 10 vs 11. How on earth he or Ruud thought he can get away with 10 vs 11 with man marking? Insane pressing in 442 and 441 flat, deep defensive line system with mindless attacking approach keeping entire midfield open in more than one occassions. Vs Tottenham, ETH failed the team. His in game management is pathetic. He showed zero adaptability. I'm a big supporter of him but I'm sad on his footballing approach. All these transition, new player, young player bed in is shit. Big big excuses. We want to see his adaptability in tactical changes during matches. He cant be just one trick pony. He cant succeed with the same process. If a lock is not opening with the old key, no matter how much one tries, that key wont open the lock. Either break the lock or bring new key or modify the key through a mechanic. He has to change approach for God's sake. He cant make us fail in two consecutive seasons. 😭 He has to come out from past (two trophies), so called trust in the process and excuses. HE HAS TO DELIVER BY CHANGING. It has to begin with himself.
