Kirk, I hope you see this. All you do means so much to me. You know, I grew up in a Christian home - I'm 20 years old now - and, growing up, I never took my faith very seriously; I went to church every week, prayed before meals, and called it good. Once I hit middle school, I started reading The Bible with my dad on the way to school and analyzing it (my dad is very into apologetics). I grew more interest in God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but I still wasn't on fire for Him. I was starting to lose hope that I would ever be on fire for God the way you are, Kirk. I started to think that only people who didn't believe in God growing up and didn't have that foundation laid down for them very early were the only people who could be truly passionate about God. Only recently have I built up the strength to admit that my biggest sin is idolatry. I want to be an actress, and I become overly obsessed with actors, actresses, movies, and TV shows. I would spend more time researching and learning about actors than I did about God. I would put more of my identity into trying to be a character from a TV show than I would into God. I finally - after a lifetime of committing this horrendous sin - have acknowledged it and repented for it. I used to think that there was no way I was committing a sin like that because I didn't pray to a statue of Buddha, but there were people or things in my life that I was placing above God, which is just as much idolatry as someone who IS praying to Buddha. Kirk, I have recently started watching "Growing Pains" for the first time and got obsessed with learning about and watching you. This, however, is potentially the healthiest obsession I've ever had (I don't mean obsession in a creepy way, by the way...I just had to point that out😅). Now that I've been loving watching all things Kirk, I've seen so many of these videos, and they've become some of my favorite things to watch. Watching these videos the last few days (I've only been watching them for that long) has grown my relationship and bond with, and faith in God so much. I have really bad OCD; I always have. Today was the first time I was able to overcome some of my compulsions because I truly gave it up to God. He helped me have the strength and motivation to do it. I've prayed for help with my OCD before, but I've now realized that I've never truly handed it over to God. I would complain to my parents that my prayers didn't work. Prayers always work - whether it's in the way you want or not, but everything happens for a reason, and He never lets any situation, good or bad, go in vain. He is good, and He is Lord.❤❤

Mathew 6:5-8 5“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 7And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33 tell us how God forgives us when we sin. There is NOTHING in there about believing in Jesus. We are forgiven when we repent and do good deeds. Again, NOTHING about Jesus. God judges us on our actions, not our theology! The death of Jesus doesn't forgive you of your sin. Read Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33! Do what God says: repent and do good deeds! Christians don't ever talk about Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33! It is forbidden because it shows how God forgives sin without Jesus! Again, read Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33. Worship God, not a man. Number 23:19 tells us that God is not a man!

...no one has pointed out the 'reason' or real essence of the 'purpose' or 'justification of your prayer . And the lack of common sense or judgment or even foolishnes of some people is somewhat alarming. I have been praying for my manhood to grow to 8 inches from seven. I am not greedy. I mean what is an inch for God ? . I have asked God since I was 19 years old. I promise you there is no differebce.

...in total agreement that we should talk with our heavenly Father... maybe instead of saying the power of prayer we should say the power of our God? prayer is a verb not a person....prayer does not have power....our Father has Power ! I know, some will say but you know what I mean when I say power of prayer....but it could lead the uneducated to think the act of prayer has power and it could be irrelavent what or who you are praying to....and maybe just praying without regard to who or what does sometimes have a placebo effect. In the end, if you are praying to anything or anybody (real or imagined) except the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ then your prayers are in vain. So if you want to use the phrase 'the power of prayer' that is up to you. I will not use that phrase but instead speak of the power of my God and He is the One I talk with often.
