"Why does God hate gay people?" is in the video thumbnail image. That's a loaded question, stating that God does hate people. The content of the video explains otherwise, while the image representing it is a misrepresentation of the content. To the video creator, thanks for your work, but please don't use clickbait. I would argue this isn’t clickbait in the typical sense of the term. The video addresses that question as being a misunderstanding of the situation (look at around 2:00). It isn’t the primary focus of the video, but it is addressed. If it weren’t in the video at all that would be blatant clickbait.
@_Keith_10 ай бұрын
@cory.......................0 In the image it says "Why does", thereby asserting that it "does", in a literal sense. If it nixed the word "why" and began with "does" it would just be asking if it does, as a reasonable title. It could be taken as a technicality, but words do have meaning, so it's possible for instance that someone would encounter the image and read it literally and imagine the content of the video to be the opposite of what it is, thereby creating a type of situation where in some cases it could prevent a person from even hearing the message at all; especially if it stopped them from playing the video in the first place, wherein it could reenforce a falsely negative idea of Christianity. Clarity of direct, accurate, truthful information can matter. I'd just be trying to point that out, in case it matters here. No ill will to the video creator.

As a bisexual person, I have some comments and several questions to share. My Comments: As someone who has experienced both heterosexual and homosexual activities, I feel no different, nor do I feel blasphemous in any way. In fact, I feel as though God intended me to feel this way. The love, wholesomeness, and warmth I sometimes experience while expressing my sexuality is intense, just as it would be for anyone who shares such experiences. I have never, in my life, felt perverse or guilty for having sexual desires toward men whenever I have engaged in romantic or sexual activities with them. That said, it’s important for both bisexual and homosexual individuals to understand that there are clear distinctions in terms of power dynamics, emotions, and socialisation when engaging in homosexual interactions with men. It may not be considered "natural" in a traditional sense, as men inherently possess different sexual, social, and physical attributes that have historically made them suited as mates for females, who generally exhibit the opposite traits (e.g., masculinity vs. femininity). I appreciate that in this video, you accurately and, more importantly, honestly represent the Christian view on homosexuality in relation to God's relationship with mankind. However, I believe there is a flaw in the moral reasoning you employ, and I’m not referring to the common argument about "nature" and the compatibility of men being with men. Rather, I find that your overall moral framework in addressing this issue may be problematic. Could you consider that morality in this context requires a more nuanced understanding that accounts for individual experiences and the broader complexities of human nature, beyond a purely doctrinal or metaphysical perspective? Now, this may seem like I am attacking your faith-something I might do with someone unreasonable-but I don't believe you are. Nevertheless, I do want to challenge you on this. (And trust me, Satan is not behind my back or guiding my hands as I type this lol) My Questions: Note: these are questions with my perspectives mixed in: - If God made man in His image, does this imply that God intended humans to experience homosexual tendencies? This may seem like a straightforward question, but if you consider nature beyond the human perspective, we see homosexuality occurring repeatedly, even among animals, who lack moral reasoning or intellectual development. Why does this happen? And more importantly, why is it deemed more heinous when humans engage in homosexuality, while it is not considered sinful or unnatural when animals do? - In Leviticus, God revealed to Moses that "a man lying with a man as with a woman" is abominable. He made this point clear, yet if you're familiar with scripture, you would also know that God did not explicitly forbid women from lying with other women in the same manner. You might argue that various forms of sexual sin exist, with fornication being the most common. However, why did God and Moses specifically focus on male homosexuality as an express sin, while female homosexuality was not directly addressed? - In the video, why do you apply a unified moral standard to all things sexual? You mention that everyone is born with unique desires (for example, some may like apples, while others prefer bananas), and that this even applies to sexuality-where a man may be attracted to women, other men, children, or even animals. I find this somewhat disturbing, as there are clear and obvious reasons why things like pedophilia and bestiality are morally wrong, more so than homosexuality as a concept. Sexual relationships with children or animals are morally wrong because neither children nor animals possess the intellectual capacity to consent to sexual activities. This means that the person who perpetrates these acts against children and animals is a rapist who practices their immorality through molestation and grooming. Why then is it seen, even through God's eyes, that CONSENSUAL homosexual behaviour is wrong? Let's go even further... Why not God allow men to be wed, avoiding fornication while still practicing consensual sex? It would appear that an easy fix to this problem is just recognizing that homosexual and heterosexual sexual relationships can be sanctifed through marriage and by practicing CONSENT. - Do you think homosexuality is a spiritual thing or a human thing? It's a simple question, but I’m curious to see your answer. I saw your animated film detailing Satan's perspective in the Bible-how he sows sin and deceit among people to blaspheme God. So, I’m particularly interested in whether you believe homosexuality is an invention of Satan or something rooted in human desire, perhaps encouraged by Satan. - Why do you keep comments up from "supposed" Christians saying "Nah, I hate the sin and the sinner"? I’ve read several comments on this video from people claiming to be Christians, stating that they hate both the sin and the sinner. However, in your video, you clearly and honestly explain that Christians-and Christ-do not hate the sinner, but only the sin. Why do you allow these comments to remain? You obviously read and respond to comments, even though this video is a year old (I checked the newer comments). It would appear that (and I am sorry for being condescending) you are allowing Satan's deception and hate to run rampant in your comments while trying to spread the word of God. Surely there is a difference between judging to the measure that you want to be judged and hating people... That’s all I wanted to say. I understand some may dislike these comments and questions, but I urge you-especially Bible Animations-to reflect on them thoughtfully. Please don’t let your heart or mind be filled with anger or resentment toward the challenging points I’ve raised. To all Christians reading this, I want to emphasize that I neither hate nor despise you. Just as you share the word of God, I share my own thoughts. I hope these comments and questions encourage you to reflect on and perhaps reconsider your positions and beliefs.

I would recommend you consider explain why is a sin, and that is (Unless proven otherwise) because God created the institution of marriage in genesis as the only way that he approves for men to fully express themselves sexually, and that is constituted by man and woman (Genesis 2:24, Mathew 19:4-6). This implies that sex out of marriage, is as disapproved as homosexual behavior, but I guess we forgot about that in these times. I also think that if not converted people, who clearly don't fear God, want to be in union, let them be, but don't make us call that marriage. Because marriage is not defined by you. I don't think this is commented enough, so anyone that read this, please feel free to comment.

Sex outside of marriage is absolutely a sin, yep. The word for it was "Fornication" and the word "Fornicator" is abbreviated in a certain 4 letter curse that starts with F. It's not a sin because 'God wants to ruin your good time' as some figure but diverging from God's plan here actively hurts. They've conducted studies that the amount of dopamine women release is reduced with each man. it's no longer a unique act of bonding between two halves who have become one whole, but a cheap thrill like a drug that leaves you feeling worse than before you dosed up. To say nothing of how it affects people to maintain relationships and build families which is now seemingly unheard of in the latest generation that seem to barely be able to stand one another.

"it was mistranslated. It says man shall not lay with boy" While it is infact true that the word "homosexual" was not added in the Bible until 1946, when the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) was printed, unfortunately nothing was "mistranslated". What you might be thinking of is the Martin Luther Bible, where in the Leviticus passages, the German word that is used there is "knaben" which means "boy" and in 1 Corinthians 6:9 the German word that is used there is "knabenschänder" where "knaben" means "boy" and "schänder" means "molester". But unfortunately it does not matter what any German translation says. The Bible in English is translated from the earliest Hebrew and Greek Texts. In Hebrew, Leviticus 18:22 says: ואת־זכר לא תשכב משכבי אשה תעובה הִוא wĕʾet-zākār lōʾ tiškab miškĕbê (miškĕvê) tôʿēbâ hiw A literal translation is: ‘With (a) male you shall not lie (the) lyings (or beds) of a woman. (An) abomination (tôʿēbâ) is that.’ [1: p231][5] The Septugint (Greek) reads thus: καὶ μετὰ ἄρσενος οὐ κοιμηθήσῃ κοίτην γυναικός, βδέλυγμα γάρ ἐστιν. The NRSV translation says: ‘You shall not lie with a male as with a woman, it is an abomination.’ In Hebrew, Leviticus 20:13 says: ואיש אשר ישכב את־זכר משכבי אשה תעובה עשו שניהם מות יומתו דמיהם בם wĕʾîš ʾăšer yiškab ʾet-zākār miškĕbê (miškĕvê) tôʿēbâ ʿāśû šĕnêhem môt yûmātû dĕmêhem bām The Septuagint (Greek) reads thus: καὶ ὃς ἂν κοιμηθῇ μετὰ ἄρσενος κοίτην γυναικός, βδέλυγμα ἐποίησαν ἀμφότεροι, θανατούσθωσαν, ἔνοχοί εἰσιν English (NRSV): If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death; their blood is upon them. In The New Testament, Paul uses two words in 1 Cor 6:9, “μαλακοὶ” (malakoi) and “ἀρσενοκοῖται” (arsenokoitai) The word malakoi literally means “soft.” & arsenokoitai is recognizable as a compound word which originated in the Septuagint (Greek) translation of Leviticus 20:13 which speaks of a man who lies with mankind as with womankind. In Leviticus, the compound word arsenokoitai word is presented as two separate words - arsenos, derived from the Greek word arsenikos (ἀρσενικός), meaning "male", "virile" and koitēn (κοίτην) meaning “lay.” Again. There is no word here that means "boy" What you might also be thinking of is one argument that is sometimes offered by Christian advocates of same-sex marriage that the Apostle Paul was not thinking of loving, monogamous adult relationships, and only intended to condemn Greco/Roman pederasty. I’ve been thinking in general about Paul’s historical context and, more specifically, about this argument. First, it’s important to acknowledge that relationships between adult men and adolescent boys or young men were the most commonly attested same-sex relationships in the ancient world. There are exceptions-Plato’s Symposium discusses committed, lifelong same-sex relationships-but this is by far the most common kind of relationship. We should therefore acknowledge that the Apostle Paul was likely most familiar with this kind of same-sex sexual activity. It’s worth observing, however, that precisely because this form of same-sex sexuality was so common, there was standard terminology in Greek for talking about these relationships-the older man was the erastes (lover) and the younger man the eromenos (beloved). If these relationships were Paul’s target, it would have been reasonable for him to use these standard Greek terms. Again, Instead, he used an apparently novel term, arsenokoitai, which either he invented or which he took from Helenistic Judaism. The most logical derivation of this new word is from the Septuagint translation of Leviticus 18:22, which says that you shall not lie with (koiten) a man (arsenos) as with a woman. In both Greek and English, verbs can be transformed into nouns. Thus, in English, swimmers are people who swim. In Greek, the koitai are men (-ai is a masculine ending) who koiten-that is, “lie with” in a sexual sense. So the arsenokoitai are men who lie with other men in a sexual sense. There is an additional reason for thinking that arsenokoitai is derived from Leviticus 18:22. In 1 Timothy 1:8-11, the Apostle Paul writes, we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the Law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality [arsenokoitai], enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted. Paul is listing various disobedient groups of people who have been given the Law to tell that their acts are contrary to God’s will. Thus, we would expect the arsenokoitai to correspond to some prohibition in the Law. The obvious candidate prohibition, for reasons given above, is Leviticus 18:22. It’s important not to misunderstand the context of this prohibition. Paul is no harsher in his condemnation of homosexual activity than he is of sexual immorality in general. And just a few verses later, he writes, “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life” (1 Timothy 1:15-16). Anyone who uses these verses either to single out homosexual sin for unique condemnation, or who fails to speak with humility of God’s love for all, is misusing the text. However, it’s also important not to misunderstand the prohibition itself. While pederasty was the most common form of same-sex activity recorded in ancient writings, Paul doesn’t use the common language of pederasty. Instead of condemning age or power differences, he coins a new word which focuses particularly on relationships that involve two men. These kinds of considerations, it seems to me, make the claim that Paul was only condemning pederasty-rather than same-sex sexual activity more generally-much more problematic.

Christ has been created to be a blessing and blessed on earth even as we have been born to be both blessing and blessed, for this is the nature of God revealed in His creation. If you remember that "what you truly believe," is what you get, so can you not see that the belief in Christ paying our sins will bring you nothing but misery? Believe in punishment and punishment is what you will get. Believe in killing and destruction as being the right way to reach God, and that is what you will experience-killing and destruction. If you are hungry and thirsty, it is because you are turning away from God within you-within everyone. I used to be a homophobe because I always thought it was a sin, I saw many LGBT girls and that made me incredibly hateful of them for just being themselves I was afraid, sick and scared of them. I saw the lesbian and bisexual girls liking who they want to like and all on my mind was everybody was lesbian and that I'll live my life alone and die alone that's why I hated them. It took 7 years before I realized I wasn't meant to be straight and so I turned bisexual, I changed a lot and became a person of happiness and support to a community I once hated. And I'm no longer afraid to wait for someone like me cause showing my true colors has helped me realize that the persons past or who they like doesn't matter what matters most is love and their support to you. Ever since 2 weeks ago I have been so proud of my bisexuality and I haven't had so much support before. I was always into hating and no support at all my own religious straight community ignored me and I only got hate from those I hurted. Now those religious people are willing to attack me but with support from Jesus and my community I am so happy. That made me realize that being homosexual isn't a sin because its unknown on the Bible and other Bibles will say it's sinful but they are talking about something else. God and Jesus wants to see us happy and seeing this people forcing others to become straight so the person becomes atheist it hurts my soul man it hurts my heart that many of my community who used to love Jesus had to change and become atheist that's pure satanism.

Here are my 2 cents: 1. It is clearly unnatural. The reproductive system was built to work one way. Anything away from that brings on sexual diseases, pain, or other problems. That's kinda why it was a law to not engage in sodomy all the way up to 2003. 2. It breaks apart the nuclear family even more, another design from God that instils order and roles for his creation. 3. It is a relationship purely built around pleasure, which in many different cases God has instructed us not to set our lives on. 4. It corrupts the minds of our youth and makes it even more difficult for them to leave it behind. In Revelations it says in the end days four sins people would not turn from are murder, sorcery (or devil worshipping), theft and SEXUAL IMORALLITY. which is exactly what we are seeing in this era: War, satanic imagery, organized theft within the central bank, and the rise of LGBT.. This is an attack on peoples souls, and they are winning. ...Ok so it was more like a quarter.

Since the beginning of mankind, God has made it a fact that being gay is a sin. If it wasn't, there wouldn't be an Adam and Eve. It would be a man with a man and a woman with a woman. It is also not possible for a man and a man and a woman and a woman to have children, giving us even more proof that this is not the natural way to date/have a family with someone. God believes this is a sin because it's unnatural. It's wrong.
@noproGD3 ай бұрын
I don't have a clear answer either so don't take what I'm about to say is right, but I think the reason is because homosexuality goes against the natural process of reproduction which needs a male and female; obviously you can't give birth to children when it's man to man or woman to woman. Also, God commands us to have sex in marriage because of what he said in Genesis 1:28 "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it." Again, don't take what I say to be right because I could be wrong. I'm just sharing why I think God says homosexuality is wrong.

Everyone can’t be straight and that doesn’t feel natural to a lot of people. Nobody asked to be gay, it’s something that a lot of people wish they could change. Our souls are genderless so to love another human regardless of gender is just as “real” as straight love. Straight doesn’t make someone righteous and gay doesn’t make someone wicked. I was wholeheartedly convinced I was gay for many years. Finally met the first guy that I fell in love with. After he broke my heart I still mostly had sexual desires for females, so I said I was bi with a preference for women. But I was so broken by him I had no option but turn to my Savior. Jesus Christ delivered me from homosexual desires and I am now straight. I am very happy. He healed many horrendous mental disorders that I had been suffering from for years and had almost driven me to taking my own life twice. Homosexuality is a sin, which means it comes from the adversary, Satan. Once I turned my back on him my homosexual ways were gone. In fact, all sexual desire was gone, as it should be. I wish only for love, not lust. Lust is sinful and it is the root of homosexuality. I also notice that your name had manifestations in it. I too was once a victim of the manifestation ideology. Please do not believe it. I would get tiny little results here and there, just enough to keep me hooked. This is because Satan still kept his powers as an angel and can perform miracles. He tricked me into thinking he was God, when he is a liar. The devil is always a liar. Despite the small little results here and there, it was never enough. I always needed more or the results weren't enough. And my mental health plummeted from an already bad state. I sincerely want to plead with you that even if you do not take away anything else from this conversation, please reconsider this part. If you turn to Christ and place your trust in him, you will have everything you need. Don't tether yourself with earthly desires and sadden your soul. Please understand that I share this with you because I love you, and God commands you do these things because he loves you infinitely and unfathomably more than I can in my human limitations. I hope to see you in heaven. Please repent, deny yourself, and follow your Lord. You will know joy like nothing else. Because this is the meaning we have all been searching for. Incorrect. There are plenty of gay or trans people that repented and are now telling people that it's a sin. Souls genderless? Perhaps. But our physical bodies have gender as one of our main traits It's not due to hate, it's due to love. God is love - but love can be harsh with the truth sometimes rather than kind with lies. Edit: Even being born with a natural impulse doesn't make it good for you. Most of us have the natural impulse to eat lots of sugar, for example. So even if people can be born with that impulse (I am u sure if they can or not), doesn't mean it's good for them

Hi! I struggled with rationalizing homosexuality for a long time. Your points you bring up are indeed things that I had to go through, and it SUCKED, but when you break out the other end of the tunnel, God gives you true freedom. Although I struggle with my sin, I would not want to turn from God for the sake of it, because he died on the cross for my sins so that I can spend eternity with him The reason I struggle with my same-sex desire is because I was abused at a young age, and it shaped me. It took a lot of introspective work to realize that I'm not "naturally" gay, even if it feels like it sometimes. Assuredly, I would rather abstain from sex altogether than to continue in my unhealthy sexuality. And believe me, you can live without sex.

I think it really depends on your beliefs and moral principles. I don't know much about how one become gay. but I'm trying to ponder on why do I feel attracted to women. I'm trying to see if it's the outcome of my upbringing or maybe genes. Yet here is what I am puzzled at: I suppose that I'm only sexually attracted to the same-sex as I can't see myself growing old with a woman. I do feel attracted to some men but not how I feel attracted to some women. Hence, maybe there is something that I lack of and what I ought to seek. But, of course, my situation differs on yours. We are brought up differently. There are a bunch of factors on why a person become gay. By researching, I think we can get some information that resonates with us. It's best to know ourselves more and ask questions to good resources.

@@Stone-i5w No, it is not possible to become straight. It is possible, however, to supress feelings. Supressing those feelings can come with a lot of depression and self-hatred. People telling you who you love or who you're loved by is a sin tends to have that affect because it is simply something that you cannot change. If it was vice versa, for example, a straight person trying to be gay, it would be uncomfortable, right? That's because attraction is simply not something you can just stop, only something that you can supress and ignore. A point I'd also like to bring up is that did you, as a heterosexual person (I'm assuming), choose to be straight? Or was it something that came naturally to you? The answer is no. You didn't choose to be straight. Homosexuality is also something that comes naturally to people.
@SoulUpliftIgnitingInspiration9 күн бұрын
It is rude to label homosexuality as a perverse sexual behavior. Pedophilia or attraction to animals are not comparable to homosexuality, as both a child and an animal cannot consent to sexual acts, and thus, there are moral implications involved. You cannot claim that homosexuality is wrong simply because God said so and it is considered a sin. The lack of evidence for the existence of God calls into question the concept of sin, as the supposed determiner of sin cannot be verified. Furthermore, the Bible and many Christians fail to genuinely understand homosexuality. Two discriminatory lines from a questionable ancient text are insufficient to fully comprehend such a complex phenomenon as homosexuality. Refusing to engage with scientific literature on what we now know about the topic only limits understanding and progress.

I don't understand why some christians, who believe homosexuality is a choice, just cover their ears when lgbt-people try to explain to them how much shame is involved in them trying to conform. They pray to be heterosexual, trying to make their parents proud and how much it hurts them even decades in. The amount of praying they undergo, it lead kids so far to even selfharm and commit suicide or they are forced to be exiled from their communities. It is cruel of you to think that God actually would let children undergo these experiences when all they wanted to do was to do good and follow his footsteps? Why can some people gracefully lead a heterosexual lifestyle while it leaves others with void, shame and pain? Some wouldn't even wish their experiences on their worst enemy... if people would just genuinely listen to eachother more we wouldn't have as many people stray from God as of today.

The part where the gay person or sympathetic Christian runs into questions is... most actions are sins because they harm the person or others, and walking away from sin pleases God because it either stops them from doing harm or improves their own life. But how does the gay person benefit from having to live a lonely and solitary existence, unable to seek romantic love or enjoy the love he/she has found? Some Christians have weighed that question and been completely unable to answer it, the result being the affirming church. If God is against Homosexuality, Christians should tell people to stay away from that lifestyle, but not hate people for being in it. Absolutely nothing. These proselytizers have a deeply rooted fear in what they can't fathom, or what they can't accept about themselves. They literally live in fear of god and admit that openly. No "loving" god with our best interests at heart would require us to be afraid of him, and this concept is what these people use to break down and garner sympathy from their followers. Like other cults' recruiting tactics they lower your defenses, making you feel ultimately flawed and ashamed of yourself in such a way that you need their support and guidance. And sheer number of people believing the same thing tunes out, or overshadows the reality of what they're doing. I think there's nothing wrong with believing in a god like that, but there is everything wrong with fear mongering as a means of control. The sad reality is that we live in a fallen world, and all creation “groans” under the consequences of our sin (Romans 8:22) and In Adam, we sinned and fell, becoming corrupted ourselves. Thus, we are born in sin (Psalm 51:5) and are evil from our youth up (Genesis 8:21). Therefore, death reigns over all (Romans 5:12) "because all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". We also know from 2 Corinthians 4:4 that 4 satan, *who is the god of this world,* has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. We are also taught in Ephesians 2:2 "You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil-the commander of the powers in the unseen world. *he is the spirit at work* in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God." So we can see from scripture that is infact *our sinful natures* and *satan* who is god of this world that causes people to sin, and not just satan, but also his demons, according to Ephesians 6:12 "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." So the statement "God made me this way" has *no* real scriptural basis. James 1:14-15 tells us that "14 each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their *own* evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death." To claim that God gave or created people with these evil desires is also false as just one verse earlier in James 1:13 it says "13 *When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.”* For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone Moreover, 1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." God calls *everyone* regardless of how they choose to identify to repent of their sins and not to stay in them as Jesus Himself said in Luke 13:3 "I tell you, no; but unless you repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways and live changed lives], you will all likewise perish" and we are also told to repent in not just Luke 13:3, but also in Luke 15:10; Luke 24:47; Matthew 4:17; Matthew 11:20; Mark 1:15 and Acts 5:31. In 2 Corinthians 5:17 we are told "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the *new* creation has come:[a] *The old has gone, the new is here!"* And in Ephesians 4:20-24 we are taught "20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned 21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." So even if we have a proclivity towards a particular sin, wether it be homosexuality or any other sin, it was not given by God and Jesus "gave himself for us to *redeem* us from all wickedness and to *purify* for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good." (Titus 2:14) We find an example of this in 1 Corinthians 6:11 where it says, “And that is what some of you *were.* But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (emphasis added). This statement negates the idea of “homosexual Christianity” being acceptable to God. Paul tells the Corinthian believers that practices such as homosexuality were evidences of their former life before Christ. Now they have been *born again,* and they have a new nature and new desires. The old nature remains, and the temptations continue, but child of God has been called to fight against sin, not live in it any longer. By the life-changing grace of God, the Corinthians’ new life stands in opposition to the way they used to live.

But He wants us to make sure that man and woman are in recognizable union in marriage first. Then you have sex with only one you love husband and wife. And no one else.

@@blazednlovinit The Bible has a very low standard for being a god and that is to know the difference between good and evil. Also, just because you know the difference does not mean that you choose to do good. The truth is that all flesh has a Spirit and Soul. All gods are Spirits and the more powerful spirits are considered gods. The most powerful Spirit is the God above all other gods. It makes no difference what you believe or even what that god says, like the Jealous god, you either are or are not. If everyone in the universe claimed you are the most powerful and you are not then you are not the One True God above all others.

hi, i need help with this right now. i am a female who is attracted to females, but i am also a christian. i have complete faith and trust for God and the bible, but the verses in the bible against homosexuality scare me. im afraid that because of the fact that i am naturally attracted to females as a female, i'll suffer eternal damnation, but there are also people saying its not a sin. im sick of people going back and forth about whether homosexuality is a sin or not. i didnt choose to be attracted to the same gender, and im also not proud of being attracted to the same gender. i do NOT make it my whole personality. i would like to know if the sin is pride, or being attracted to the same gender. if it IS being attracted to the same gender, then i need help and advice on how to change. i want to change myself and start being attracted to males, but even if i try, i just cant. i want to turn away from sin, and this argument about homosexuality has been worrying me.

Hello, well, I am a gay guy, also an atheist, and knows almost nothing about your religion, so I probably cant help you with what you are going thru. But I can say that much, I like being me, I cannot say for sure if I fully love myself because I am going through some problems myself; but, for my sexuality, i love being attracted to men. It is just, a part of me that I can't change, and it does not cause harm to me or another person, so I just don't worry about it. And I wouldn't change for anything in the world, what I feel for guys it's just... magical, it feels so good. I hope I have a boyfriend one day. But, most likely, I don't feel ashemed, or have troubles with my sexuality because I don't follow Christ or any other religion. So I'm sorry if all my words are of no use to you. It will probably sounds hella cheesy but, listens to your heart. To your head. Sometimes the right awnser comes where there's no effort to seek it. In your head there may be many voices screaming different things, opposing things. Sometimes one is sincere and honest, and the other is a maniac made by society expectations that it's to loud for it's own sake, sometimes there is middleground, sometimes both are dumbasses. Anyway, it must be really hard to you, this constant battle of wills. This contradction living in one being. However, if things get a bit harsh or unbearable, I would advise you to seek a mental health professional. Anyway, I hope you the best, stay safe, and no matter what happens, do not hate your self, lil' you inside there may be going through a lot already. Please, be kind to her, be patient.

God's always got you, even if you aren't always sure of it! You don't have to worry that you will go to hell because sin hasn't left you yet, then no human EVER (besides Jesus) would get to go to heaven, because we all have sin from the second we're born to the second we die. That's why Jesus went through so much suffering, so that we could be free of the worry of eternal damnation as long as we've chosen Him! God thinks you're the most precious and beautiful daughter and He's proud of you for knowing that homosexuality is a sin and fighting against it; but He also knows how hard it is for you. He has His arms stretched wide waiting for you to run to Him and let Him take over for you!❤ With every single sin - lying, envy, hate, pride, homosexuality, the list goes on - we are all too weak to be able to fight against something that is in our very nature, but God is stronger than it all and He loves when we ask for His help! He wishes that we would sit in His arms and cry out our struggle to Him, and let HIM do all the work of breaking chains and healing our hearts and minds, but we often hide and feel ashamed of our struggle and think we're stupid for even struggling in the first place. But that is a lie! You are not stupid for hating something that God knows hurts us! In 2 Corinthians 12:9, "God says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me." His power, HIs love is made PERFECT in our IMPERFECTION. He can't do His life-changing work in us unless we give it all to Him, so just run to Him today, with all your hurt over not being healed yet, with all your exhaustion from trying to heal yourself, and just let His love soothe all your aches. He will heal you. You never have to worry that He'll leave you on your own with something that is hurting you this badly. He's holding you right now in His hands, and those are the same hands that have healed countless lives before, the same hands that brought death to life. He's whispering loving words of relief and healing over you, and that is the same voice that made the entire universe, the same voice that made you, and the same voice that looked into you with all your hurts right now and said, "I want you here with Me for the rest of eternity." He loves you so much! He will not let you slip through the cracks! He will heal you! ❤

Hopefully I don’t get berated for this answer by a random, but I’ll keep it short and simple while giving enough details for your answer: A Male and a Female were designed to be partners, a marriage is considered the union of a Man and a Woman. God designed humans in this way, a husband and a bride, you can pretty much see it with the construction of the physical body that a man and a man as well as a woman and a woman are not meant to be as they would bear no gift of life AKA a child in their “passionate loving” acts. Committing such homosexual acts is going against God’s design of humanity, thus breaking divine law.

Your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing Good and Evil," signifies the awakening of Sexual Consciousness, which is dormant in the case of little children and which was dormant in our archaic ancestors until they committed an act which aroused the dormamt state. Don't believe the guy above me, marriage is to be frowned upon and it is not holy. Sexuality is evil. The Angelic Status where "they neither marry nor are given in marriage" to which the gospel Jesus referred when he said: "Except ye be converted, and become as little children (mentally), ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. ... Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven" (Mat. 18:3; 19:14). The kingdom of heaven in this case is the innocent mental state which is not contaminated with that Carnality which the Apostle Paul so bitterly condemned when he shouted: "I am carnal, sold under sin. ... 0 wretched man that I am. Who shall deliver me from the body (condition) of this death" (Rom. 7:14, 24)

You’ll realise the bible doesn’t really make any sense when you study it for as long as I have and really think about what it all means then when you consider such issues as unconditional pre-election and eternal hell for the rest of the majority of gods creation (as only a few will be saved ) , conflict on the account of creation vs evolution , the mythology of heaven and angels and Satan etc . For example , if Christ was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins and takes away the sins of the world then if we’re now sinless in gods sight then why doesn’t Christ/god reveal himself to everyone like he did to Adam and Eve and so they can experience him and his radiant love and so all can be saved ? But he provides no direct evidence he exists outside the bible but instead hides away and leaves the world in confusion and we have to wait for the end of the world instead where he will throw people into eternal hell for not believing or having enough faith . What sort of god is that ? And what makes the bible more true than Hinduism which existed longer or Buddhism or Sikhism etc . Just all doesn’t make any sense . I wouldn’t spend your life worrying about stuff that is not true and If it is then god help the vast majority of us if only a few are going to be saved .
@Wesley-cb6ty10 ай бұрын
I think you might be a little misinterpreted with your facts here, my friend. - God (or Christ) can save anyone, and when he returns, the majority of Earth won’t be cast into Hell. However, those that live in his grace, those that have committed works and acts in accordance to repentance, will be the first chosen to inherit the kingdom of Heaven. I don’t remember reading anything about eternal damnation for most of humanity upon the second coming; only damnation for those that openly defy God and have committed blasphemy/atrocious acts several times in their lives without regard to Him. - Jesus’ sacrifice was not an implication that humanity is now free of sin. His sacrifice was meant to serve as a reminder that we are doomed to sin for all of time, and it was symbolic of the fact that he lived a perfect life for us, died for us, so that God could forgive humanity; he was the perfect, where men could never be perfect. That’s why he was crowned as the Christ. - God provides no direct evidence of his existence such as seeing him walking down the street or at a grocery store, because he takes the appearance of something indescribable. In many portions of the Bible he is rendered as a man, but in other portions, a mass, a void, a construct, no one really knows. The whole point of faith is belief. So when your life is going sideways and you think it can’t get worse, then something amazing happens to you, that’s a sign of God’s existence. When you make a sacrifice for the good of someone else, that’s a sign of God’s existence. Where good people exist in a world of seemingly evil, that’s a sign of God’s existence. When less fortunate people give their last dollar to a man with nothing, that’s a sign of God’s existence. The sunrise, sunsets, time with family, laughing with friends, the birth of a child, getting married, a raise at your job, after believing it was a dead end career; these are signs of God’s existence. When a sick child is cured of their cancer, when a disabled person makes a recovery, when someone feeds a stray dog, brings it home and takes care of it, gives it a life besides suffering, that is God. Faith is belief. You do not need to see something to know it’s there. Sometimes our eyes deceive us in more ways than just one, sometimes something is there that you cannot see, but you can feel it. You can sense it. God is comparable to love; there’s no direct evidence of its existence, but if you love something, you know it. You don’t need to see it, but it’s there anyways. Christianity has the most loving God of all mainstream religions in my opinion. - Lastly, what makes the Bible any more true than any other religious doctrine? Well, Christianity, first of all, was originally a splinter religion of Judaism. The first followers of Jesus were actually Jews, after his death, mind you. The men who wrote the scripture of the Bible were key eyewitnesses, men who were alive during the time of Christ, watched him build a following, teach his disciples, show them mercy, love, compassion, faith, understanding. And they also watched his death, when he was crucified by men who couldn’t stand the sight of benevolence; a man who was more perfect than them, a man who was followed and loved more than them, and by men who sneered in arrogance at his beliefs, and by men who were greed ridden. The men that witnessed his life and his death were the scholars and the authors of the Bible, and Jesus’ death completed the scripture, and thus, Christianity was born by rogue Jews. So is it any more true than the others? Well, that’s where you bring up belief again. Many religious doctrines follow a similar God, as Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all follow the same God- the only major difference is their belief in Christ as the messiah. Jews do not believe in Christ’s sacrifice, and some deny his existence. Muslims believe in Jesus, and his sacrifice, but deny that he was the messiah. Christians believe that Jesus was indeed Christ; God in the form of a human, who died to exalt humanity’s sins forever. You do not need to agree with anything I have mentioned here, I just figured I’d post a lengthy comment. I am a devout Christian myself, and I try to spread the good word of God in any way that I can. God is good, and when you are faced with trials and difficulties throughout life, he is there with you at all times, ensuring your victory over your challenges. Be in this world, but do not be of this world, for the earth is temporary, but the Kingdom of Heaven is eternal. Be heavenly and not earthly. God bless.

Even though Christians are taught to Love as Jesus did, most Christians are often judgmental towards those who do not share the same beliefs or who are simply different-and most Christians often do not recognize the hypocritical nature of their judgments. In this way, the selfhood/personality (humanhood) has corrupted Christianity-and most Christians do not seem to recognize this or try to correct this. Instead, most Christians tend to fuel a sense of self-righteousness and superiority within themselves that too often leads to conflict with those who do not agree with them. That is not what Jesus taught! Jesus taught: Love your neighbor as yourself. No exceptions! Jesus did not say: Love your neighbor only if he or she is like you, or Love your neighbor only if he or she is Christian, or Love your neighbor only if he or she is heterosexual. Jesus taught that our neighbor is not different than us, that everyone is the same in the eyes of God, that everyone is God incarnate and that the same Kingdom of Heaven is within everyone. Jesus had no intention of creating a religion, and Jesus was not involved in creating Christianity - and yet, a religion was created in the name of Jesus. I just want to clarify this to those for whom the name of Jesus and Christianity, seem one and the same. Jesus knew this would happen! Jesus knew that his teachings would be misused and misunderstood. For that reason, Jesus has RETURNED-through the medium of his original teachings (the Christ Letters, A Course In Miracles and A Course Of Love), or through those who can communicate with the dead-to describe his life and his teachings over 2000 years ago, so he can rescue Christians from MYTHS and FALLACIES too. But no Christian has the capacity to listen to Jesus because of their stubborn adherence to cherished beliefs.

Jesus in no way taught that everyone is God incarnate nor did He teach that the kingdom of God was inside of everyone. Jesus made a clear distinction between those who believe in Him and those who do not. Those who believe are the children of God those who do not are the children of satan. The kingdom is only inside of those who believe.

Christians pray for the Will of God to be done-but-what does the Church believe is the WILL of GOD? 2000 years of prayers for the world to be rescued by the grace of the Will of God appear to have been unheeded by God. But perhaps throughout this time they have been answered. When Jesus was on earth, he taught people: "Those who kill by the sword will die by the sword." "You reap what you sow." "Love your neighbor as yourself." and "Turn the other cheek." People realized Jesus truly meant these statements and that killing was wholly wrong and should not be countenanced under any circumstances. But-Christianity, Religious Ruler of a large section of the world population-which should have outlawed all war for any reason-permitted wars to break out, cities to be destroyed and millions of people to be killed. Christians have tortured and destroyed one another. Why did this happen if Jesus Christ was truly the Christian Leader? I'll tell you WHY it has happened. Do you remember that when Jesus walked the earth, he frequently told people: "Your FAITH has made you whole." "Your FAITH will move mountains." Simply stated: "The kind of life you will experience begins in the mind." The true reason for your downbeat lives-plagued by ill-health, poverty, enmity, ignorance and unhappiness-is your strongly held fundamental belief system. Your Life is fashioned by your deepest and most strongly held beliefs, and by those ideas and opinions in which you have the strongest faith. And what do the majority of Christians have the strongest religious faith? They believe that God compassionately decreed that His beloved Son, Jesus, should be born on earth to a Virgin and crucified and killed in order to pay the price for the sins of the world. And, as some churches claim, "The sins of man will be washed clean in the blood of the Lamb." Are you not reminded of God whose anger against men was appeased by the burning of lambs and birds? Are you not reminded of Solomon's glorious temple built especially for the people's burnt sacrifices of lambs and birds to plead to God for leniency and even forgiveness for their sins? What kind of beliefs do these words portray?-belief in wrong doing of a magnitude worthy of punishment. A belief that it was possible to take the lives of animals, birds, and then Jesus, and load them with people's sins in order to have it completely forgiven. What kind of devious ethic was promulgated here? What does it say about the ethics of the initiators of such beliefs? What kind of consciousness would such imaginings create? And when such consciousness began to materialize in the events and experiences of the world's Christian inhabitants, of what kind do you suppose they would be likely to be? Is this not the same God of the Holy Bible, God's Sacred Word, who sent plagues upon the Egyptians and whose Angels killed all the Egyptian first-born children and animals when the Israelites, led by Moses instructed by God, escape from Egypt? This history of the Jews is the Great Event celebrated in the yearly Passover. The Christian Church has not outlawed war. How can it when Christians stubbornly believe that God has countenanced war as a means of procuring more land for His Chosen people and Christians? Can you now see why the chaotic state of the world remains the same despite the prayers of the Christian Congregations? And then you have been told that your sins have been washed clean in the blood of the lamb-and who is the Lamb? Why, yes, it is Jesus... who, more than 2000 years ago, died on the cross. Does it not now become crystal clear-WHY-prayers for the Will of God to improve world conditions have been unanswered? It is the Will of Man that killing and slaughter should be an expedient means to settle swiftly a score between nations and people in conflict.

Do not try to understand what Christ was saying by thinking of what you have been told by religious teachers. They can only repeat from the Scriptures and have no personal knowledge of the Kingdom of God or Heaven. God is not contained within any place but is everywhere, as are the heavens and air above you. The Holy Word spoke truly when it says: "In God you live, move and have your being." For the Kingdom of God is above, around and also within you-and you can enter the Kingdom of God. But what is it? It is a state of mind and heart which is fully possessed by God. When you are in this state, God is the head of your body and directs everything you do and all of your life. How can that be? It is possible to be so emptied of selfish desires, enmities, angers, jealousies, greed and vindictiveness that only God is left in control within your mind and heart. What happens then? Then you enter into the State of Being which is God-directed. It is altogether beautiful and glorious. It is love, it is generosity, it is caring for other people as you care for yourself, it is non-judgmental since you accept other people exactly as they are, knowing that they too are God's children and are equally in God's care. It is happiness beyond measure, beyond description, it is joy in the beauty of the world, it is life unlimited and increased energy, it is health and it is the fulfillment of your every need before you even know that you have such a need. You suffer because you do not understand how you have been created, and the true purposes for which you were born. You were born to be children and heirs of God, you were born to enjoy all that God is in Himself, and all that He can give you. But you turn your backs on all the glory of the Kingdom and try to find pleasure in escapism. While you do this you will never find the Kingdom of God, nor enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

@@lilchristuten7568 Just as Jesus came in human body over 2000 years ago, to rescue the Jews from MYTHS and FALLACIES, so has Jesus RETURNED through the medium of his original teachings (the Christ Letters, A Course In Miracles and A Course Of Love) distributed worldwide, to make it abundantly clear that the Bible in no way reflects his true CHRIST message either as he taught it in Jerusalem-or at this present time when the original teachings of Jesus (the Christ Letters, A Course In Miracles and A Course Of Love) will arouse the fury and condemnation of Christian traditionalists. Christianity, as it stands at this time, is only a hodgepodge of the muddled thinking of the disciples' selective recollections and Paul's worthy homilies and other early writings. Much later, when the impact of Christianity lacked the visual effect of the gods and goddesses of the Romans, Christianity was adorned with "theatrical" but "expedient" nonsense to impress those whom the Ecclesiastical Empire of Rome desired to draw into their fold. This empire later imposed monetary burdens on the gullible people even more iniquitous than the taxes demanded by the secular Roman Empire on conquered nations. Even Caesar did not demand payment for souls to gain entrance to heaven! You may wonder why Jesus is so explicit in his rejection of the Torah and the Bible. It is vital to the success of the distribution of the CHRIST MESSAGE of Jesus that religionists should fully understand the true nature of religions. Until religionists do realize the MYTHICAL and FALLACIOUS foundations on which they have placed all their convictions, religionists will find it difficult to get rid of cherished beliefs. Please understand that when Jesus makes such statements, he is referring to the "tenets of faith," to the "dogma and theology." Jesus is NOT referring to those great spiritual souls who have sought-and continue to seek God and Truth beyond the dogma and beliefs. Jesus knows religionists have received the inspiration of God into their minds and hearts but are afraid to get rid of cherished beliefs. Religionists are hampered by religious beliefs and practices. But the time has come for religionists to get rid of cherished beliefs and grow in spiritual wisdom. (Hosea 4:6)
