I received the Holy Spirit last April and heard the name of TMH YAHUAH as a voice of thunder last year 9th July and people told me I was crazy. Haven't heard anything since but YAH is generous with revealing understanding of scripture and that's all I ask for. We're blessed YAHUAH is good to His word and reveals Himself to those who seek with all their heart. Might not be what you want but He'll let you know He's there when the Ruach (spirit) comes for anyone else that reads I think you're good brother. HalleluYAH

Thanks PD. This is so relevant. As someone who has experienced firsthand many of the things you mentioned, it grieves me that my brothers & sisters are indeed quenching the Spirit, by saying God does not speak anymore. Has God changed? One of my favourite scriptures is: "Today if you hear His voice......" We must be careful not to put God into a box. "Do not quench the Spirit" "Do not despise prophecies" "Test all things" Shalom & blessings upon your ministry.

Yes. 1Co 14:39 So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. For anyone wondering why I used the term “forbidding prophecy”: Speaking in Tongues in this Biblical context (coupled with the gift of interpretation) produces prophecy that builds up the assembly. That it why Paul compares speaking in tongues and prophecy throughout the chapter. Just adding this as a comment since I didn’t get time to explain this in the video.

Hey brother. You’ve done an excellent job here. Two years ago I started receiving prophetic words from the Lord. At first- I didn’t know what to make of it all as I was from a tradition that taught the cessation of the gifts. As I have started sharing the words the Lord has given I’ve found that many people do not have a proper grasp of the role of prophecy today, and certainly there is a confounding number of false prophecies out there. I appreciate you taking the time to go carefully through the assumptions and respond to them biblically. I often find myself answering the very same questions from people I encounter. Perhaps I can point them to your video now😊. I also just want to affirm the crucial importance of audience here. I have found that in the case of every word the Lord has given me, there is a specific audience in mind. Blessings to you.

Thanks for this teaching because I have truly been frustrated regarding it. It seems so so many people abuse the "Yah told me..." Everytime they have a thought, its prefaced with "Yah told me...." and it makes me cringe. I feel the pride in it or feel the person prefacing "Yah told me" to gain authority in what they have to say or so the listener can't question what they have to say. It's as if the person is trying to put Yah's stamp of approval on their words to gain authority. I also wonder, "Maybe I am wrong and should repent for these thoughts. Then, there have been those who say humbly, "if anything I say is true, it came from the Ruach", and that feels good to me. Or those who keep it to themselves not needing to tell me they feel they heard from the Ruach. I have also heard some speak when I truly felt it was from Father. All these thoughts led me to do a deep dive into this. It seems "prophecy" vs other things the Ruach gives us are inaccurateky lumped together. If you tell me "God told me..." and follow that with something that is going to happen, then I am going to respond with "you are prophecing". That is prophecy. And whatever they say, I can test, knowing that if it comes, true it was from Him and if it doesnt, the person is a false prophet [Deut 13]... as prophecy is a direct word from God (via the Ruach) of things to come. But the Ruach can also teach, give us faith, wisdom, knowledge, strength, etc... this is where it gets tricky, I think. Prophecy is "things to come", period. Knowledge and wisdom is not prophecy and obviously if it goes against scripture, it is not of Yah. But how do we know when the Ruach is giving us knowledge and when its just our own brain, our own ruach, if its something that can't be tested in scripture? The multitude of those abusing the "God told me" as a way to put a "stamp of approval" on what that person wants to say, makes it super confusing! For me personally, I feel many times that the Ruach has given me wisdom or knowledge, but I would never brag about that. And if its wisdom, one can't say it with 100% certainty as our own ruach is in there too. Yah's wisdom doesnt need to be announced as such but will stand on its own! And knowledge seems to also get mixed with our own thoughts too. It seems personal between the person and Yah and when shared, a person will recognize Yah's influence without you telling them... it stands on its own. So there's prophecy vs knowledge and wisdom. And I would say all are coming through the Helper, the Ruach, which is Yahuah's own breath. If we look at prophecy in the Bible, it never goes against Torah AND it is always for Yahuah's purpose, not our own. He is not a respecter of persons. It is always about Him. 👇 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear Elohiym, and guard his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. ECCLESIASTES 12:13 So prophecy is easy to test ... it is about the future, it doesnt conflict with Torah or the Word, it is for Yah's purpose and can eventually be seen to come true (or if not it is a false prophet). On the other hand, if it is wisdom or knowledge we are receiving, well there is the tricky one!!! I pray for guidance here and may Yahuah correct me where I am wrong and /or confused. I pray your next videos will address these things because I truly feel it is taking His name in vain when we abuse it in this way and i wouldnt want to do that and don't want to be responsible for encouraging that in others. I think dreams and visions can be more accurately defined as the medium or "the way in which", the Ruach gives knowledge, wisdom, prophecy etc... In other words Yah can give us a "prophecy" or give us "knowledge" through a dream, directly as a voice in our head, though a vision etc... The dream, vision, or voice is just the vehicle for how Yah delivers what he delivers, whether it be wisdom, prophecy, knowledge etc...

The Bible does not say that God doesn't speak outside of scripture. Therefore, for one to proclaim such, THEY are speaking outside of scripture, doing the very thing they claim they don't believe. Instead the scriptures tell us to TEST everything.

Good point. Sometimes it’s also what side of town we were born. We typically surround ourselves with people who believe the same as us, which only reinforces our particular experience. E.g. If your circles don’t believe in prophecy, you’re more likely to never see it. As with all gifts, faith is essential.

If God no longer speaks outside the Bible show us where Scripture says that He will stop speaking (outside the Bible). I have never read that. But there is no reason we must believe someone else’s revelation. There are many, many liars. But He does speak, however, it always agrees with Scripture. God also heals today. And those Calvinists you interviewed are very biased. Their basis for their opinions is flawed. Therefore, their whole arguments are flawed. God speaks to individuals about things in their own lives. He frequently saves their lives. MCArthur and friends are right to be concerned about believing everyone who says they have a dream etc. People like attention and many are false. But that doesn’t mean that no one hears from Him. And Christians are not obliged to believe anyone else’s revelation. We are supposed to be discerning. So, I agree with you.

Deuteronomy 13 is the litmus test for prophets and prophecy, the reason the reformers don't abide or believe in the prophetic is because they can not obey this chapter. Nor can they apply it to their theology. More to the point, Deu 13:4, "You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice," they don't obey His commandments, so they can not believe in prophecy for this very reason.

If you have real faith you hear God. He doesn't come through a burning bush anymore but in other ways. God didn't give up talking once Jesus came and went. The Bible didn't repair my back in Church a week ago. God told an old woman to tell me to lay on the floor. So I did. She looked up and raised her hands. At that moment God sorted my back. I got up and said thank you, my pain has gone. God works harder these days than he ever has done. Holy holy holy blessed is his name 🙏

Discernment must be used with those who claim to be prophets. Im not saying YAH does not speak thru others but it is very important to actually know the bible. One of my neighbors has a girlfriend who claims hands were laid on her and was told she was a prophet. She says YAH told her that satan wrote the old testament and most of the new testament. She claims God told her His real bible has been hidden with one family who was charged to keep it safe from satan and will come out in yhe end days as a bible school with Andrew Womack as the head of the school. Her prophacies have everything to do with what God can do for you and nothing about what we should do for Him. The Deuteronomy test for prophets still stand for today.

In Numbers 22:8 see that Balaam understood that The Most High would speak to him that evening. In other words he had previously heard from Him. Yet only now do we see that Balaams's interactions are recorded in the Biblical record. It is imperative that we don't inadvertently speak against The Most High by our traditional understandings. Numbers 22:8 [8]And he said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as YHVH shall speak unto me: and the princes of Moab abode with Balaam.

The Bible clearly refers to prophecy, spiritual dreams, etc in the Bible and also says it will continue in the last days. Nowhere does it say these encounters would cease before his second coming. God says he will speak in the last days. He is not bound by the revelations revealed written in a book that he essentially wrote. He can will continue to speak. The Spirit of God brings significance to the word of God. Aside from that, it’s only powerless words.

Jesus talked about the building of a spiritual temple will be completed after three days and three nights. If we count from the rebuilding of the second temple, three days and nights (3 times 450 and 450 years). Yahusha gave them the correct answer, Yahuah will build up a new earth and a new heaven after three days, but you have to know when to start the counting. The Jews are very confused, because they start the day in the evening and likewise the Christians at midnight. Jesus had to suffer and died in the ninth hour first day (preparation day) he rested on the second day the Sabbath and was resurrected on the third day, shortly before sunrise the day of the wave 👋 offering the fourth day. Also Jona was spitted out of the fish 🐟 on the fourth day.

justin and mac are wrong.....sorry to say but they miss it....God who can do what he wants and how he wants when he wants can and does speak to his children as he sees fit.......he sent angels in the OT then he can in the NT....he spoke verbally in the OT so then he can and does in the NT.....he speaks by the written word in the OT and so he does in the NT today.....the holy spirit came upon those in the OT and today he now lives within believers.....the holy spirit now can and does impress upon our heart and mind things...he gives us thoughts and ideas......if you want an answer about buying a house or getting a new job you ask the holy spirit...you cant go to proverbs and the answer is in there.....the holy spirit must impress upon your mind the answer.......the problem today is not if God talks verbally to his children at times cause he does when he sees it is needed..the problem is DISCERNMENT.....

Older texts of the New Testament (prior to the Pentecostal movement) also refer to prophecy as teaching or giving a message and also actions in the Old Testament (as was the case with Abel). Old Testament does mostly rely heavily on prophecy as foretelling whereas the New Testament relies heavily on forth-telling (i.e. the Messiah is here to fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament). In the New Testament, the Hebrew text was their canon. Today, the Old and New are our cannon and we are to do the same as was done in the older texts of the New Testament and that is to prophecy or teach / spread the message that Jesus has come and is our redemption. There are no new prophets or Apostles. In 2 Timothy 3:14-17, Paul does not tell Timothy to look for new prophets or Apostles but to hold fast to what has already been delivered.
