Peter explains that we "Christians" are "Israel". Paul explains that we "Christians" have been grafted-into "Israel". In the Book of Revelation, the "saints" or the "Elect" are those that 1) Keep the Commandments of God, and 2) Have faith in Jesus. [Rev 12:17, Rev 14:12] Finally, Jesus Himself said, "If you Love Me, then Keep My Commandments." Jesus also said, "Why do you call me Lord, Lord, and do not what I say?" Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life. This means He kept all of the Commandments. For sin is the transgression of the Law. We are commanded to "sin no more - be perfect - as your Father in Heaven is perfect." So the only conclusion we can make is that we MUST OBEY the commandments of God. Gentiles are not exempt from this Biblical directive because Gentiles are brought from darkness into the Light of Scripture - and Gentiles become of the household of Israel (God's Chosen People) when they believe in Jesus, and they become "BORN-AGAIN".

Question: are you keeping the Sabbath Holy in Spirit too. Do you not cook, clean or even watch You Tube videos do you cut your hair or shower on the Sabbath? I am just asking you because it is impossible to keep the Sabbath without the Holy Spirit totally taking over all your will, mind and heart on that day. You probably are not keeping it like you think you should. The law and trying to keep it is a stumbling block to those who have already been freed in Jesus. If you convince others to keep a law that they don't feel convicted to keep you can do a lot of damage. The law reminds us that we can't even keep God's laws. That's why Jesus came.

@@coko3124 1 John 2:3-4 Now by this we know Him, if we keep His Commandments. He who says, “I know Him”, and does not keep His Commandments, is a liar and the truth is not in him. 1 John 5:3 For to Love God means that we keep His Commandments [see Ex 20:6; Deut 11:1; Dan 9:4]. Moreover, His Commandments are not burdensome. John 14:15: If you Love Me, then keep My Commandments. The Sadducee Temple priests officiated the weekly Sabbaths and High Days at the time of Christ, who never contested their solar calendar. In 66AD the Pharisee Anti-Roman (Anti-Fasse/ANTIFA) Zealot rebels, seized control of the Temple. When contested for control, 20000 Judean 'Jewish' Edomites assisted the Zealots and murdered most of the Sadducee aristocracy, priests and hundreds of the Jerusalem populace. The ANTIFA Zealot rebels then appointed their own accursed lunar calendar high priest, who was the last to be seen standing in the Holy Place when THREE AND A HALF YEARS later, the prince of the Roman Empire arrived and desolated Jerusalem, Judea and the Jews in 70 AD - culminating in the taking of Masada another THREE AND A HALF YEARS AFTERWARDS. Most of the Christians, remembering Christ's words, escaped to Jordan between the two sieges of Jerusalem - the first siege by General Gallus who then strangely withdrew from Judea, and the second by "prince" Titus son of the new Emperor. These SEVEN YEARS are the fulfillment of Daniels prophesy. Surviving Pharisees continued to enforce their lunar calendar 'sabbaths and high days' in the Synagogues, which they controlled - hiding the Sadducee Temple calendar from the people. Constantine managed to establish the Resurrection day as Sunday in 30 AD on their Julian calendar, which actually overlapped the Biblical weekly Sabbath THAT year. Unable to establish the Biblical calendar, Constantine changed Sunday to the first day of his new Roman week, in honour of the Resurrection. Later Constantine's son Constantius ll, knowing the Pharisee's lunar interpretation of the Biblical calendar to be Babylonian and Canaanite, forbade them from signaling the start of their lunar months across the Empire from Jerusalem. As a concequence, Hillel ll was forced to choose a Roman day for their weekly 'sabbath', and he chose Saturday - the seventh day of Constantine's NEW Roman week. The rest of their lunar calendar they kept by Rabbinical calculation. Thus the true Biblical Temple calendar was lost until the discovery of the Dead Sea Scroll's. The Dead Sea Scroll's solar calendar, corrected to the Sadducee 19th Abib Omer Wave Sheaf, is the correct Biblical calendar, revealing the weekly Sabbaths and High Days - which is why the Zionist State of Israel suppressed them for 40 years before they were leaked out on micro fish copies. Saturday was only chosen as the Jewish 'sabbath' by Heliel II about 300 years after Christ. He standadised the Jewish calendar. Even before that, the weekly 'sabbath' they kept was the Babylonian lunar 'sabbath' that the Pharisees introduced and enforced in the Synagogues, after the Temple was destroyed in 70AD. The true weekly Sabbath was already hidden by the Pharisees in favour of the Babylonian lunar interpretation of the Biblical calendar. Knowing this, Constantine's son forbade them from signaling their pagan lunar calendar observations across the Roman Empire. However Constantine himself was unable to determine the true Biblical weekly Sabbath, but he was able to determine that Christ was resurrected in that year on the Roman solar calendars "Sunday". Therefore, in honour of the resurrection he changed Sunday to the first day of his NEW Roman week, and also made Sunday the day of rest. Without Roman authority to signal their Babylonian lunar 'sabbath' across the empire, Hillel II and other anti-Christ Jews were forced to choose a Roman weekday as their "new sabbath" and he chose the seventh day of Constantine's new Roman week - i.e. "Saturday" ! Rabbi 'Sages' don't tell you all this and most Rabbis don't even know this themselves ! Karaite Jews today still keep the Babylonial lunar calendar and many Christians have been seduced into doing the same. Jericho was an ancient lunar calendar observation city dedicated to and named after their moon god. The Bible called Jericho the "accursed city" and Joshua was commanded to totally destroy it and its inhabitants after marching around it once for six consecutive days, and seven times on the seventh day - i.e. 13 times in total ! I think that, as opposed to the Second Advent and the "Marriage of the Lamb" that nobody knows when, the preceding "great and dreadful day of the Lord" can actually be established as the 20th March 2031. The world will feel that ominous consuming fire approaching and will run around trying to hide, while Christians enter into their inner prayer "chambers". When the Christians come out, there will be no OTHER flesh and blood survivers - who will be burnt up and trodden "as ash under their feet." They will mourn for their friends and relatives who weren't "saved", but SOMETIME afterwards will witness the return of Christ coming from east to west. Raising their eyes they will be transformed in an instant, allowing them to rise up and meet His RETURN. Thereafter, they will be consoled when He "wipes the tears" from their eyes and takes care of them like as "calves of the stall". That's how I perceive these future Biblical events. Don't the dead in Christ rise "first" - a great multitude ? Then those living Christians that are "left" come safely out of their prayer chambers - AFTER the "wrath", to "tread upon the ashes of the wicked who have been removed from the earth" - "The righteous shall NEVER be removed but the wicked shall be cut off". These "saved" righteous remnant "lift up their eyes", and are then "changed in the twinkling of an eye", and able to rise up and meet Christ returning with this great host..... The chronology in the Septuagint is a few hundred years longer than in the Masoretic Text. Both are flawed: The imminent millennial reign of Christ on earth coincides with Yahweh's 2nd 'day' of rest - "and His rest shall be glorious" because His Son is ruling on earth for that 1000-year-day. So if Yahweh's first "day" of rest was ALSO a thousand-year-day, in which Adam died at 930 years old "in the same day" he sinned, and Adam was also made near the end of the previous 6th 'day', then we are currently near the end of the 13th thousand-year-day which actually ends on the "great and dreadful day of the Lord" on the 20th March 2031. There is no doubt that Christ spent three full nights and three full days in the tomb, but how long did He hang on the tree/stake/cross ? Surely even in death Yahshua fulfilled every law of His Father ! i.e. Christ could not have been left on the cross overnight for nearly 12 hours before a “morning start of day”, or 18 hours before a “mid- day start of day” ! The day therefore does indeed start at sunset ! John 19:31 supports the view that Christ was crucified and died on the afternoon of the 14th Abib preparation day, was taken down from the cross and placed in the tomb at eventide/sunset demarcating the days. The 15th Abib Passover High Day Sabbath then commenced at sunset. Christ had to be off the cross by sunset. He was in the tomb for three full nights and three full days before His 4th day resurrection - as Lord of the Sabbath Day on the next WEEKLY Sabbath, which was the “First of the Sabbaths” after the Passover, initiating the Feast of Weeks count to Pentecost. youtube.com/@NickVanderLaan7 Nick gets the Dead Sea Scrolls calendar 100% correct. All the DSS's WEEKLY Sabbaths are correct and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Day of Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Feast of Tabernacles with it's Last Great Day. However the Dead Sea Scrolls does differ with the Sadducee Temple Priest's Feasts if Weeks by starting one week after the Temple's Feast of Weeks. Zachariah, John the Baptist's father officiated in the Temple, so that Feast of Weeks is the correct one for this reason and other reasons as well.

This is exactly what the issue is, Are we to keep Sabbath because God rested on the day or because he expects/commands us to rest or go to Church on the day? It becomes a circular question if no proof is provided. I have listened to a lot of of Sabbath fors and againsts and I have to say this one explains a whole lot more and connects things with scripture not theory whether I agree with oit or not. We need show things from scripture.

To gather and assemble on the Sabbath was most certainly a command in the Bible: Leviticus 23:3 calls the 7th day Sabbath "a holy convocation". The word convocation means assembly. Why are some trying so hard to teach others not to keep one of God's 10 commandments? James 2:10 "He that keeps the whole law, but breaks just one, is guilty of all"

The argument then follows that you are not under the law but grace. You can see how this becomes a circular argument. Seriously no one liners can explain these things so it needs research and this here is one of such. We do not have to agree with it just prove from scripture what it should be.

After having read your comments, I felt an undeniable urge to request of you we pray in unison for The Holy Righteous Hand of The Most High YHWH gift you the beautiful clarity to discern The Truth can't be known unless the first 77% of Scripture is read with a believer well versed in it. This is The Foundation of our Faith. Have you ever read the last fourth of a list of instructions and been successful or fully understood how the end product functions and its full capabilities? The Father called HIS people Israelites. In order to be brought into the fold, all are required to accept YESHUA as The Holy Messiah resurrected that we may be Saved. All must adhere to The Laws set forth, save for ones we cannot do, animal sacrifice and atonement. Do you believe The Most High would have different standards based on an affiliation? Would that not make HIM a hypocrite? HE stated His Holiness is no respecter of persons and extends Mercy at HIS own discretion. Every Word of The Word must be followed joyfully by everyone. The minister's sermon is man's interpretation of 100% of The Bible using the last 23%. Gentile is defined as a foreigner in the Land and or one who worships idols, a heathen/pagan. Those chosen to receive the reward of eternity with our Elohim, one can be a descendant of one of the 12 tribes or the ones who've discerned how imperative The Torah is, and avidly seek to be grafted in. Those of the Jewish faith must conform to the entirety of His Word, why do we assume we do not? Because we don't know better as we've been mislead by the doctrines of man. Scripture is very clear about Salvation by Faith, being a free gift available to all. Just as all those that claim a change of mind, heart and soul has had an affect in their behavior (marriage for example or a promotion to that of a CEO), save Salvation is a Divine Covenant we've now entered into with YHWH The Almighty. It's a hallmark of the New man choking out the Old. The path of obedience and Righteousness our Messiah walks. Though narrow, its aglow with The Light. We pick up our crosses and follow Him, die to self and be filled with The Spirit, not subservient to the flesh any longer, our priorities are of a Higher Order declared through our total obedience. With much regard, Christianity is a man-made construct that will not be a practiced in The Heavenly Realms, nor will Judaism. The LORD didn't create religion, HE created HIS people. The Messiah loves you so much. The name The Almighty Father gave His only begotten Son, The only name above all other names, was YESHUA HaMaschiac. The name Jesus isn't spoken in The Lord's Domaine, as "J" only came into existence 400 yrs ago and ABBA (Dad) refers to The Son using a name lovingly chosen for its meaning and our Saviors coming for the lost sheep of Israel and the choice of free Salvation for all.

Please forgive me for my honest questionsssss… I was raised Catholic and I am still learning the answers to RCC’s biblical contradictions and man made doctrines. How about the healthcare workers who work on Sabbath day? Police officers? Firemen? Should they let non-Christians work on Sabbath day instead? If there is fire on a sabbath day, who will respond if all of the firemen are Christians? If someone has heart attack on Sabbath day, and the specialist is a Christian, is it a sin to work on that day? Jesus healed someone on a sabbath day. Also, I love to worship God EVERYDAY. Why does worshipping Him on a Sunday wrong if He was the one who created even the days of the week? If Sunday name is pagan, why do Christians still call it Sunday? Even the other names of the days of the week has pagan origins, example is Thursday from Thor’s day and Saturday from Saturn. Why don’t Christians create their own day names without pagan origins? Why “first day of the week” is mentioned in the Bible? Isn’t it referring to Sunday which is the first day of the week? Again, apologies for the many questions. I am still learning.

The calendar used today hides the Sabbath because it is a man made math equation that doesn't work with the calendar the Bible talks about. The true Sabbath falls on all of the days of the week at some point because the Bible only has 29 or 30 days but our calendar system also throws in 31 day months and an occasional 28 day month. To find the true Sabbath you need to find the true New Moon Day. And to find out which month it is you need to use the stars that Genesis says are also given for timekeeping along with the greater and lesser light, the sun and moon. Unfortunately the calendar in use today uses a solar only calendar instead of the sun, moon, and stars and with months and days named after pagan idols instead of the Scriptural numbering system God provided.

I just watched a different video that was based in scripture and history. It was clear and concise. This video did not leave me with the same feeling.I feel like this was circular talking points like most political rhetoric we hear and that it was spoken with an air of disdain instead of respect for God’s words. I feel like it was twisted. I didn’t watch the whole video bc I didn’t feel like it was honest from the beginning so I don’t know what the KZbinrs final say was on the matter, however, in my heart, I felt this delivery was wrong. Why would God give 10 very clear commandments and only expect “gentiles” to follow 9 of them? Seems like a justified cop out to me using a play on words to sway believers away…

Quick food for thought. God gave the commandments to Israel NOT Jews (only one tribe). Once we understand that those who are born again are grafted into Israel than we can better understand passages such as Num 15:15-16 One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD. (16) One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you. Dispensational lines of thinking have one major problem. The end result is that man becomes the arbitrator of God's Word determining which portions apply to us and which apply to someone else (and even those that are extinct). James 1:17 God does not change. Point of logic the New Testament also does not repeat the prohibition against beastiality, incest among others, we certainly cannot conclude that such things are no longer in effect. We have a simple decision to make: God changes and we have to continually adjust to His moving laws and expectations...or God does not change.

I am a SeventhDayAdventist. Without the 4th command in the 10 commandments the Holy Law of God wouldnt have any validity at all. Why? Heres the explanation: any legal law has a seal on it which contains the *NAME* and the *TITLE* of the one who claims authority of rulership and making his law thus valid. The Sabbath command is the only one which has the *NAME* and *TITLE* in it and is therefore the *seal of validity* for the entire Law of God. *LORD (YHVH)* is the *NAME,* He created all things in 6 days, the *TITLE* of being the *CREATOR.* You taking the 4th commandment out of Gods Law... you taking the whole Law down. *"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." (James 2:10)* May God help you to remember his day to keep it holy *"For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." (Isaiah 66:22,23)*

I'd like to point out that I'm not taking anything out of God's Law. I'm suggesting that none of the Mosaic law was given to Gentiles and therefore cannot be the basis on which we instruct Gentiles in righteousness. God did give many commands to Gentiles in the Bible but the Sabbath was not one of them.

I think it will be beneficial to spend some time with SDAs before making strong claims, that can be misleading which is bearing false witness brother. It's important to note that The Seventh Day Adventists also additionally meet on Wednesday evenings, and sometimes all week long for Worships. And even sometimes on Sunday. The reason why SDAs emphasize on meeting on Sabbath was because, Jesus, and his apostles had the tradition of doing this (see Acts 18:1-4). It is also a convenient because one is usually not busy with his own things in that day and can focus on God and doing what is good. You would also agree that it is a perfect way to spend time when not doing anything for at least part of the 24 hrs. Additionally, Jesus had many chances to address this, however he instead gave an extra explanation on do's and don'ts of the Sabbath (see Matthew 12:11-12), why not say something along the lines of "Soon ye shall no longer need to keep this" as he talked of the temple's eventual destruction (which was similarly controversial to speak of among the Jews). Even after his resurrection the Apostles met on the Sabbath as the norm (see Acts 13:14-16, 42-44, Acts 17:1-4). The most probable reason as to why the Jesus and even the Apostles did not bring this up, because it was a no brainer, if anything, everyone was going overboard with Sabbath keeping something which Jesus addressed as stated earlier in comparison to the other comparison which needed to be addressed with priority. It is also worth noting that Jesus gave special emphasis on the Ten Commandments in Matthew 19:16-22. And even resurrected after the Sabbath. Jesus called himself the Lord of the Sabbath signifying its importance, going as far as to say the Sabbath was made for Man (not Jews) (see Mark 2:23-28). The ones who shifted the Sabbath to Sunday in the earlier years, had reasons like politics and the need to distinguish themselves (Christians) from the Jews. The protestant churches keep it as it is customary to them and found justifications for it. To conclude, arguments for not keeping the Sabbath as God intended are not stronger than the fact that as saved Christians we should want to live in Obedience to God, as shown in the Perfect example given by Himself through Jesus Christ. You will always be safe in following the example of Jesus Christ. Be Blessed Brother!

If you have doubt on Sabbath to keep, how about Sunday? God did not give the Sabbath only for the Jews, it is for everyone. If you read Mark 2:27 “The sabbath was made for man…” it was made for humanity not only for the Jews. Then if you read the whole verse of Exo.20:8-10 it states there that even the “stranger” in your house should keep the Sabbath. The Sabbath is already present at the creation long before the Jews existed. Adam and Eve kept the Sabbath after the creation. God blessed, sanctified, rest on the Sabbath day Genesis 2:3.

Best video I’ve seen on the topic. I agree 100% One thing God revealed to me is that Christ was in the grave on the sabbath day. There for fulfilling the sabbath day. Jesus tells us the priests profaned the sabbath yet were blameless because of the temple. But One is here who is greater then the temple. Christ also said if you abide IN me, I will also abide in you. So if we are hidden IN Christ and he is grater then the temple we are BLAMELESS. There is no longer no condemnation for those who are IN Christ Jesus That do not walk according to the flesh but walk according to the the spirit. Amen

The ceremonial laws or mosaic laws were kept outside of the arc VS the 10 commandments were kept inside the arc. The mosaic laws were for the Israel nation for cleanliness for sacrificial systems and other reasons VS the 10 commandments were actually given in the garden of Eden, or I'm still in the garden of eden. It was only written by the finger guard. Yes, on Mount Sinai. And then it was written upon our hearts and still is written upon our hearts. God never changes his law never changes his judgment. Justice and mercy never change. He said he's the same yesterday today and forever the alpha and the omega. Just like we're not to rape or steal or murder. Etc, we're all supposed to observe the sabbath day. Because he's the creator it's his sign or seal of him being our creator and if we respect our earthly parents and want to keep their laws in their house. How much more do we want to respect our heavenly father? Because we're in awe of him. Respect of him. Not fear but fear in the sense of respect. Plus there are many promises and blessings that come with keeping. Sabbath, it's not about works. A lot of people don't seem to understand that they are very. They don't teach about keeping sabbath. Because it's good works so that it'll save you. Someone also said that they were taught that in the end times if you don't keep sabbath, you'll be deemed. You know not allowed heaven. There's a lot of saved people in different churches. God has his people in many different denominations are cultures. It's at the call in the end times when God calls everyone out of them. My people k out of the false churches, the apostate churches or the postate hearts in other words, to come to him and follow him and if they don't do it, then then that is, when their fate is sealed, not whether or not they were originally a sabbath keeper. Worship, though will come down to being the deciding factor because there will be a law based on that. Just like it was during many other times in the Bible. Many great exams were given both historically and through parables. Study your Bible's people the sabbath's camp command this real still stands today. Sabbath is that important because it represents the character of God? There are many more things I could say but that should be enough for now. Please study the scriptures and to know what is true and pray over them don't believe me because I said it don't believe me because the church sometimes. In the past has said it notice, I said sometimes many churches air and falling to a policy. So it's not about what the church says. It's what the Bible says.

Keeping the Sabbath does not mean we aren't allowed to do anything whatsoever. It could be considered more like a day off from work related to finance/money, like a day not to be greedy on. If you have things you must do during the Sabbath that require immediate attention, obviously these are allowed to be done! Jesus heals the sick and does many other things on the Sabbath, yet He does not break the commandment. It is because the jews had made their traditions their laws and replaced the real significance with their own fear. Thus they added to the law things that were not meant to be forbidden. For example: Was eating forbidden on the Sabbath? No. Was drinking? No. Was walking? No. Doing business is probably considered forbidden as it has to do with gaining money/wealth. Not only is the Sabbath for our sake in so that we may have a day of rest for our bodies but also for our spiritual sake, that we may focus more on the Lord and what doesn't corrupt us inwardly (which money so easily does through greed). The Sabbath is a blessing, not a curse, if understood correctly! 🙂 Personally I am not sure if we as Christians are required or not to keep the Sabbath but I just wanted to share my thoughts with y'all!

If we don't have His Holy Spirit of Truth, we won't be able to understand Scripture. Of course we must obey His Commandments, and it is by His Grace that we can. That is because Grace is the conviction of our sin and the conviction of obedience to His Holy Word. Grace is not a license to keep living a sinful life, yes we struggle, but as long as His Spirit is in us, we can turn away from sin. It doesn't mean we will never make mistakes, but we sure won't be able to live comfortably in them. Almighty Yah commands us to live righteously. What is impossible for men is not impossible for God, so if He dwells in us, then it should not be impossible for us to live set apart for Him. Don't be deceived by your own righteousness. If we follow our own thoughts, we will go straight to destruction. Obey Almighty Yah. That is the whole duty of men. And if you are in a position of teaching, ask for His Truth, because if you convince others to disobey, their blood will be in your hands. Seek Yah while He may be found, repent and share the Truth with others, so that you don't perish and partake of their sin. Blessings.

And YAHWEH blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it HE had rested from all his work which YAHWEH created and made." from the beginning, YAHWEH set apart the sabbath day. Who would HE be setting it apart for if it was for humans? We see that the sabbath was in effect before the 10 commandments in exodus 20. In exodus 16 when the Israelites were told to gather twice as manna on the 6th day so they could rest on the sabbath day.

I’m a firm believer God wrote the Ten Commandments in our hearts and he gave us a whole book to protect us from the lawless one, the one who tells you, you come Friday, Saturday or Sunday and only way to get to God is through them. Cut That ancient serpent the head an tail. Love is the fulfillment of the law the Ten Commandments as many apostles have said Matthew 22:37-38 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Romans 13:8-10 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. We will continue to find rest in Jesus Christ like it was prophesied Isaiah 11:9-10 They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is full of water. 10 On that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will seek Him, and His place of rest will be glorious. NOWHERE in the NT after the resurrection do we read about anyone “keeping the sabbath” according to the Bible! GOING TO CHURCH ON Friday, Saturday or Sunday IS NOT “KEEPING THE SABBATH!” Keeping the sabbath according to the Bible: The people: Luke 23:56 And then they returned and prepared spices and perfumes. And on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment. - This is the last recorded instance of anyone “resting according to the commandment” and it was BEFORE the resurrection not after! - THEY RESTED! It does NOT say “they assembled and worshipped according to the commandment!” - The congregation: 1. No work done at all (Ex. 20: 10; Lev. 23: 3; Jer. 17:21-22). No watering the lawn, no working in the yard, no hobbies, no surfing, no fixing flat tires, etc. By law if a person did not stop all types of activity in honor of the Sabbath, he was breaking the law. In Numbers 15:32-36 a man was caught collecting sticks on the Sabbath, and he received a rock concert from the people he knew. 2 No kindling of a fire (Ex. 35:3). No fellowship cookouts or barbecues. You can't go into a restaurant and get a hamburger that's been flame broiled, you can't cook eggs, or pancakes in the morning because you'd be kindling a fire for cooking. To drive a car would be to "kindle a fire" In the combustion chamber of your engine. 3. No traveling (Ex. 16:29). Later the Jews added to this law, allowing only a half mile of travel on the Sabbath which we see observed in the NT. But the pure law says "stay at home." Actually, If you kept this part of the law, you could not travel to your church gathering unless it was less than one-quarter mile away from home. If you had an emergency you could not drive to the hospital. 4. No trading (Amos 8:5). If you happened to need gas to get to church service, you could not "trade" money for gasoline. You would not be allowed to buy a cassette tape of that morning's message or a book at the store. There is to be No exchanging of money for goods. If you worked with stocks and you needed to sell you couldn’t. 5. No marketing (Neh. 10:31; 13:15,19). Make sure you do no shopping whatsoever. You can't buy any ice cream for dessert after dinner or anything else. If you run out of food or drink at home you can’t go out to purchase any, you can’t even buy a stick of gum. 6."... a holy assembly with double the daily offering along with the other offerings. In other words, you are to give twice as much on the Sabbath (Num. 28:9).Do we practiced this today In compliance with Old Testament law. Do Sabbatarian's really practice the law? I have yet to see people go to Shabbat and give twice as much each week. 7. New showbread In the holy place (Lev. 24:8). Of course this cannot be done today since there is no temple, so this part of the Sabbath cannot be followed by the church. The fact Is the Sabbath was not made for the gentiles, but for the Jews and their generations Ex. 31:12-17). It's a law given between God and the Jews. 8. Sacrificing two male lambs without blemish EVERY SABBATH: Numbers 28:9-10 9 ‘Then on the Sabbath day two male lambs one year old without defect, and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, and its drink offering: 10 This is the burnt offering of every Sabbath in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering. 9.The last part of the requirements for keeping the Sabbath day law Is the penalty for breaking It.

God did not make a mistake in making Sabbath for the Jews in the old covenant. No, we are no longer bound to the old law for we have died. Read Romans 7. But we also rose again with Christ now following the Law of Liberty, the Law of Christ! Read James 1 and 2.

in the book of issaiah 66:23 read this passage,,,,,,are you suggesting that this sabbath worship will only be held for the israelites while the gentiles are doing something else....clearly it says that eveyone will be worshipping him on the sabbath...... so why in the meantime is the sabbath is not needed to be kept by the gentiles...or why should it not matter to the gentiles.... the ten commandments were given to the israelites but i would assume that if a gentile wants to come along for the ride then they must follow along and keep those commandments as well.... if you join a new sports team for example don't you have to follow the teams philosophy....if the team/coach has no tolerance for being late should you ignore it because you're old team didn't care if you were late?

"Here is the patience of the saints. Here are they who keep the commandments and have the faith of Jesus. "Rev 14:12. This book was written some 40 years after the death of Christ. No commandments were done away with. " If you love me keep my commandments." John 14:15 - The book of John is estimated to be written 80 years after the death of Christ. No change to the commandments. In Matt 24:20- "Pray that your flight be not in the winter nor on the Sabbath Day. " Jesus was speaking of the destruction of Jerusalem which would not take place for another 40 years. He never changed his mind about the 7th day Sabbath. What great points! After coming out of 37 years of Mormonism I discovered how freeing it was to not have to worry about sabbath day observance as strictly as I did. Then I began listening to some people in my home fellowship that convinced me to observe the Saturda Sabbath. At first, it was nice but then I began to yoke myself with legalism and tried observing the Sabbath by being conscious not to follow after the desires of the flesh like over eating or watching too many you tube videos or cooking or cleaning anything and I just became so frustrated because the more I tried the more the flesh took over. Now I understand what that scripture about Paul saying what I desire to do I do not do and what I do not wish to do I do and trying to keep a law was just a big fat reminder of how I can't keep the law. We are not only free in Christ but I see how this discouraged me and truly became such a stumbling block to me that I started to feel guilty and not meet with the Lord but praise God I am being freed from that mindset. This is why keeping laws yoked by others is so damaging to our relationship with God. Praise Him for Jesus! We are sinners in the flesh but free in the Spirit!

So many made-up religion's believe that gods law has been replaced by the grace of God. That is absolutely wrong. They have all false doctrine. The law is more important than Jesus himself, because Jesus followed gods law. John 15:10. Jesus said that he wrote a new law,but people still couldn't find this new law that Jesus wrote because they still didn't aloud God to open their eyes to see because of so many reasons. Act 28:26. I found this new law that Jesus wrote. Mathew 5:21. This the old law. Vs22, this the new laws that Jesus wrote. Mathew 5:27. This the old law. Vs 28, this the new laws that Jesus wrote. One of the reasons why gospel is so important because of gods law. Gospel of Mathew explains that Jesus didn't come to destroy the law, but to fulfil. Mathew 5:17. In vs 18, we can see how important to God his law. It's says, the place where God lives and the world we're we live can disappear, but non of his single words from his law will disappear. Humans still don't see that gods law is important than Jesus himself.

My comment makes the 200th comment. First of all…. Let us remember that the 10 commandments are all together the moral laws… the premise that Gcd needs to repeat something he already stated even after literally setting it in stone is not a biblical principle. Where in scripture does it teach us that if God doesn’t repeat what he already made a commandment then we can ignore or forget it (ironically the commandment that says Remember you’re here telling people to forget!!)? The principle as to what laws no longer are binding on Christians is easy. Through the plan of salvation through grace which was what we are all saved by…. Old and New Testament alike. There were some things that pointed towards Christ and were a TYPE that pointed towards Christ… the main thing was the old sacrificial system which was how persons confessed their sins and a mediator in the from a priest was needed in this old system… That old sacrificial system Was abolished when Jesus as the lamb of God died for all our sins… this too is why the veil of the temple was rented from top to bottom when Jesus died. Additionally…. Wherever the ten commandment is restated in the New Testament it is pointing towards or acknowledging the set of rules it’s speaking to… ie the Ten Commandments. In Matthew 5:18 it clearly states that until heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or tittle shall in no wise pass until all be fulfilled. The fourth commandment is a constant call and reminder to reminder to worship and remember the God who we serve who created the world in six days and rested on the seventh…. Additionally…. The seventh day was blessed on the seventh day after God created, it was not made holy at Sinai…. It has always been and always will be holy.. To conclude, your premise that the fact that God nvr told you to do something again after already told you means we are no longer to abide by it is false. That’s just the truth… based on your video, it seems as though you are a God Christian and well meaning. However sometimes we are wrong but well meaning like Paul was when he was Saul. I continue to pray for you and myself and all Christians… that we will worship both in Spirit and truth. Isaiah 66:22&23 ~ As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the LORD, “so will your name and descendants endure. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD… May the God of Peace lead us all towards the truth as we humbly seek his face.

Excellent! “God wants us to be holy…in heart and mind..not depending on setting aside a particular day… as though that’s what saves us! The Apostle Paul addressed this in Romans 14:5….and left it to the persons conscience as to how to regard one day over another! Had the 4th commandment still been required he would have addressed it! Everyday should be holy in how we conduct ourselves in thought….word…and deed!😊

Why say all the commandments are to be kept but not the 4th when it says in Hebrews chapter 4:8 that there has not been spoken another day of rest after the day that YHWH has already given, which is the seventh day, not the first? It was never commanded by YHWH that we should keep another day or he would not have written it in stone which you show at the end. Remember that YHWH never changes. It's all about the Messiah reconciling us back to the Father for salvation, so he would not have changed his Father's word. It is a requirement for all because the gentiles are grafted into the same olive tree as the Jewish people who are the natural branches and are keeping the seventh day sabbath set-part (holy) as commanded, it is for everyone including gentile believers. YHWH loves us and wants us to obey his word. I am only trying to say this with love because this is very important.

THE BIBLE SAYS THE LAW WAS CHANGED? OR WAS IT REMOVED? Heb 7:12 “For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a CHANGE (3331) also of the law. ” But what was the Law changed to? That capitalized “change” is a different Greek word from the first one in this verse. Different word, different meaning. Right? So what is our meaning here? Here are two more examples of how this Greek word is used. I have capitalized the words for clarity. Heb 11:5 “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his TRANSLATION (3331) he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” Now, was Enoch “changed,” or was he moved to somewhere else? He was moved or transferred somewhere else. This is one meaning of this word. This next verse will show that even more conclusively. Heb 12:27 “And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the REMOVING (3331) of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Removal! That nails it. The Mosaic Law was removed out of the way. “Change” just doesn't quiet get it. “But, but, but; how can we be sure?” This verse will add clarity to it. Heb 7:18 “For there is verily a DISANNULLING (115) of the commandment (the Law) going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.” Here Paul is writing in the same context as the original verse 12 at the top of this post. So what is he saying here? One more verse to clinch this thing. Heb 9:26 “For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared TO PUT AWAY (115) sin by the sacrifice of himself.” Same Greek word in this previous verse translated “disannulling.” The Mosaic Law was PUT AWAY! As in a trunk in heaven! Heb 8:13 “In that he saith a new Testament, he hath abrogated (3822) the old: now that which is disannulled (3822) and waxed old, is ready to vanish away.” (854) (3822) means “obsolete” and (854) means to “disappear.” And that was 2000 years ago when Hebrews was originally written! And there it is confirmed! The Greek language is beautifully clear! Of course, many simply refuse to believe the biblical texts. The “disannulling” of the commandment is “to put away” the commandment! The Law was indeed put away, nullified, nailed to the cross, removed, and taken out of the picture for all believers. Unless you have gone to many various churches, you would not believe how many Christians are still struggling daily under these old covenant laws and burdens, thinking they are obeying and pleasing God by observing them. And the “Law” being put away by the sacrifice of Christ! It is a tragedy of suffering in the Body of Christ, brought on by legalistic teachers persuading believers they are required to do these things in order to be saved. It is a heavy burden to bare. And unnecessarily so! We are Gentiles who were NEVER under the Law of Moses anyway.

God works on the Sabbath. John 5: 16-18 "For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, Because He had done these things on the Sabbath. But Jesus answered them, *"My Father has been working until now, and I have been working"* . Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because *_He not only broke the Sabbath_* , but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. Matthew 12:5-8 "Or have you not read in the Law, that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple break the Sabbath and are innocent? "But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here. *"For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath"* . God made the Sabbath. He is not subservient to what He has made. He made it and He can break it if He wants to.

yes, we are to keep the sabbath, along with the other 9 commandments... the 600+ laws you talk about were done away with when jesus died on the cross for us, for our sins... i say the sabbath still needs to be kept because of ISAIAH 56:6-8...I WILL BLESS THE FOREIGNER ( that is a gentile ) WHO COMMIT THEMSELVES TO THE LORD, THOSE WHO SERVE HIM ( THE LORD ) AND WORSHIP THE LORD AND DO NOT DESECRATE THE SABBATH...GODS SABBATH.... if the foreigner does NOT keep the sabbath he will not be blessed.. JESUS HIMSELF ....TELLS US IN JOHN 14:15....IF YOU LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.... THE 4TH COMMANDMENT IS IN THERE... TRUE OR FALSE????? THEN IN 1 JOHN 2 :4 IT IS VERY CLEAR ... HE THAT SAYS I KNOW THE LORD BUT DOES...NOT... KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS IS A .... LIAR... AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM.... you say some people say the sabbath has been moved from saturday to sunday but you dont show or say any chapter or verse where that is... it also says in DANIEL 7 :25 THAT MAN WILL TRY TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAWS.... can man change times and laws.... NO only GOD CAN CHANGE TIMES AND LAWS... the 600+ laws you mention were written down and placed along side the ARK ... NOT...IN THE ARK WITH THE 10 COMMANDMENTS.. those 600+ laws are the laws that jesus did away with , with HIS death on the cross.... they were done away with at HIS death when the earth shook and the temple curtain was torn from top to bottom showing that the temple sacrifice was done away with because HE, JESUS WAS THE PERFECT SACRIFICE ....THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A CHRISTIAN... SHOCK.... BUT TRUE.. ROMANS 2:29... I PARAPHASE ... NO ONE IS A JEW OUTWARDLY NOW... YOU ARE A JEW INWARDLY.... YOU / SOMEONE IS NOW CIRCUMCISED OF THE HEART, ON/ IN THE HEART BY THE SPIRIT...THE HOLY SPIRIT.. NOT BY THE LAW... SUCH A PERSONS PRAISE IS NOT FROM PEOPLE OR MAN BUT FROM THE FATHER ABOVE, FROM GOD.... A JEW TODAY AS WE KNOW THEM IS NOT A REAL JEW AND A GENTILE IS NOT A JEW.. BUT ONCE SOMEONE.... JEW OR GENTILE.... WHO ACCEPTS JESUS AS THEIR LORD AND SAVIOR THEY ARE CIRCUMCISED IN THEIR HEART AND BECOME A JEW AND ARE ADOPTED/GRAFTED INTO JESUS FAMILY, and if you are adopted /grafted into jesus family do we not also take up the family customs????? you say some laws were not required the gentiles...true, but go back to ISAIAH 56 :6-8 if a gentile accepted and kept the LORDs day, the sabbath that gentle and his family was bless... that gentile did not have to keep all the jewish laws to be blessed... you go on to say the sabbath was NEVER given to the gentile ..true... but as i have pointed out in ISAIAH 56:6-8 a gentile was FREE to accept the LORDS SABBATH and receive blessing if he did not desecrate the sabbath..... in MATT 7 :21-23 THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO ENTER HEAVEN ARE .... THOSE WHO DO THE WILL OF THE FATHER....IF YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE ARE NOT KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE YOU DOING THE WILL OF THE FATHER???? in JOHN 14 :15 JESUS HIMSELF SAYS..IF YOU LOVE M E KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.. IS THE 4TH COMMANDMENT NOT IN THE 10 COMMANDMENTS.. OR ARE YOU SAYING THERE ARE ONLY 9 COMMANDMENTS... jesus says HE IS LORD OF THE SABBATH.....IN MATT 12 :8 IT SAYS THE SON OF MAN IS LORD OF THE SABBATH... MARK 2 : 28........LUKE 6: 5 ...THOSE 3 PLACES ALSO SAY JESUS IS LORD OF THE SABBATH.... what is the only day to a jew back then known as the sabbath.... the 7th day...and actually the true sabbath is SUNDOWN FRIDAY TO SUNDOWN SATURDAY... and since we know that jesus is LORD OF THE SABBATH... when john says in revelation 1 :10 on the LORDS DAY I WAS IN THE SPIRIT AND I HEARD BEHIND ME A LOUD VOICE... that was a sabbath....what else could if be????.......since GOD never changes... would GOD start something then stop something then start the same thing back up???? AGAIN IN ISAIAH 66 : 23 IT SAYS IT SAYS .... FROM NEW MOON TO NEW MOON AND FROM SABBATH TO SABBATH ALL FLESH SHALL COME TO WORSHIP ME DECLARES THE LORD....that seems like maybe it could be the way the weekly sabbath was kept in both the OT AND NT..... ALSO JESUS AT THE LAST SUPPER DID SAY SOMETHING TO THE EFFECT OF EAT THIS BREAD AND DRINK THIS WINE IN REMEBRENCE OF ME.. does that not mean keep the passover as a remembrance of HIM... DO WE DO THAT TODAY?? SHOULD WE DO THAT TODAY??? ALSO IN ZECHARIAH 14 : 16-18 ... THE LORD COMES TO REIGNS.... THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME and please show me where i can be wrong or incorrect in this....

Acts 20:7 doesn’t say “first day of the week” in original context; it was after the unleavened bread. When Acts 20:7 is translated in Greek it reads “ they gathered to break bread on “one Sabbath, of weeks” Studying original language context helps to understand the context.

Great video, and great topic👍The Sabbath day,the seventh day,is the only day in Genesis that has no closure. While these seven days are literal days(Gen 1:5,Ex 20:11),the seventh day represents the believer’s eternal rest that we have in Christ(Matt 11:28).That’s why there is no closure recorded in Scripture to the seventh day! The sabbath is the shadow, the substance is of Christ(Col 2:16-17).Seven is the number of completeness in the Scriptures, and we are complete in Christ(Col 2:10)Dispensationally,the sabbath was given to Israel(Ex 20:8-11).Even on the creation week,God never commanded Adam and Eve to keep the sabbath. But he did command them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil(Gen 2:17,3:3).Of course they disobeyed God’s command, and we are now in the mess that we are in,because of our first parents, and our own disobedience to God(Rom 3:23).We all have a sinful,Adamic, nature, and we are headed for a place that the Bible call’s hell(Lk 16:22-23).But the good news is that God loves us,and give His Son Jesus to die for us(John 3:16). Instead of Israel receiving God’s gift of Righteousness through faith in Christ however, they tried hard to earn God’s salvation through there own righteousness, and failed miserably(Rom 10:3).Let us not make the same mistake.Let us enter into God’s free gift of Salvation through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ(Rom 5:1,Eps 2:8-10),and then we will receive that eternal rest that is found only in Christ! And remember,we have God’s promise that “whoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved”-Rom 10:13📖✝️😃

Historically most Christians have viewed keeping the sabbath as binding. Western civilization has paid a serious psychological, societal and familial price for letting go of the sabbath day. The idea of the Sabbath was to spend a day with family and friends.

Really? Any proof? Let me give you this by Justin who was martyred in 160 AD: *This same law you have despised, and His new holy covenant you have slighted; and now you neither receive it, nor repent of your evil deeds. For your ears are closed, your eyes are blinded, and the heart is hardened, Jeremiah has cried; yet not even then do you listen. The Lawgiver is present, yet you do not see Him; to the poor the Gospel is preached, the blind see, yet you do not understand. You have now need of a second circumcision, though you glory greatly in the flesh. The new law requires you to keep perpetual sabbath, and you, because you are idle for one day, suppose you are pious, not discerning why this has been commanded you: and if you eat unleavened bread, you say the will of God has been fulfilled. The Lord our God does not take pleasure in such observances: if there is any perjured person or a thief among you, let him cease to be so; if any adulterer, let him repent; then he has kept the sweet and true sabbaths of God. If any one has impure hands, let him wash and be pure.* Justin Dialogue with Trypho the Jew 155 AD. I have proof that Christians didn't keep the sabbath as far as 100 AD, do you have any proof for your claim also?

@@PilgrimsHope I said "most Christians have considered it binding". I did not say that it was binding. We are free "in Christ". However, having lived for 75 years it has been my observation that this is one of many contributing factors to the decline of our society which frankly is enough proof in itself. Getting rid of the blue laws just happens to coincide with the beginning of the decline of this country. It is about not putting God first. Keeping the sabbath is not a box to be checked off as a "work" that will get you into heaven. It is about having the right priorities. This also falls into the category of " if you give an inch they will take a mile". Sunday is now just another day of the week for most. That is not ok nor the way it was intended to be. How do I know that? Because God set this pattern at creation.
@PilgrimsHope

@@aunthat6685 Well that is my question, where did you get the idea that most christians thought it was binding? because for most of Christian history it was not seen as binding, but seen as just a shadow that foreshadowed Christ. Well the early church who did not keep sabbath, were holy and good even to the point of death by the Romans. So I do not see that sabbath keeping is necessary for a good Christian society. But yes the reason why it correlated that way, recently in history, was because people in the 1500 to 1800 thought that the sabbath was a law that Christians are ought to obey (protestant reformation made it up). So Yes in a way it shows the decline of society when they stopped doing something they thought is commanded by God. But nowadays many people understand that sabbath keeping is not commanded for us Christians, so it is no longer a good indicator of someone's faith, but the other 9 commandments are still the way to see someone's faith.

I agree with a lot of what is said in this video, but wonder why Jesus talked about the Sabbath in Matthew 24:20. Obviously, it was to be continued. He was talking to the disciples about the end times so wouldn't he have said it was no longer required ? And the problem I see with observing it on Saturday or Sunday matters little when using the Gregorian Solar calendar as we do today . The Sabbath was designated by the lunar calendar which the Romans punished the Jews for using. Even they admit that they we forced to stop using it. According to that calendar, today, Feb 8th, 2024 is the Sabbath day. It is a Thursday on the Gregorian calendar. I believe the Sabbath is for rest. And it was a big deal because it is the only commandment that starts off with "Remember" ! That being said, I agree that it is a personal choice. But one that I believe should be sincerely researched because it does seem important. Wouldn't you want to be sure ? If anything I have heard that the keeping of the Sabbath has an effect on your life span. Seventh Day Adventists tend to live 10 years more than the average American. I admit, I am only writing about what I have learned so far. I am not a Jew or SDA or Catholic . Just someone eager to learn the truth. Peace.

Your breakdown is very good I like it. I would have to disagree with what you say about Hebrews 4, yes it reminds us of rest with Christ. But the rest with Christ is the Sabbath. It is an holy day kept by God on creation and set as a commandment for all eternity. The prophet Isaiah even breifly mentions the sabbath being kept in the new earth God will create after he destroys this one. My thing is. Saying that we no longer need to keep the sabbath is like saying we no longer need to honor our parents or it is okay to worship idols. Why keep nine and not all ten. God himself said, that if we are guilty of breaking one commandment we are guilty of breaking all. I urge you alll to study the word of God and fully understand what it says about The Sabbath. Finally I would say that the Sabbath is also a day to rest after a long work week. And Jesus Christ never said to not keep the sabbath he simply corrected the Jewish leaders who perverted the holiness of God’s day.

Sabbath was not about "keeping a day" as such, as it was about being with God. God sanctified or set a apart the Sabbath as a holy day. The Sabbath is an invitation to be holy, by being in the presence of him who is holy. Ephesians 1:4, a letter to the gentile church, says that we should be holy. Deuteronomy 5:12 shows that the Sabbath is also about remembering and honouring our redemption by resting in the love of our Savior. Exodus 20:8-11 shows us that obedience is about resting in God. Genesis 2:3 shows us that the Sabbath is about ceasing from our own works as God did from his, and dwelling in and being a part of the works of God by keeping the Sabbath holy and spending time with him. Only the seventh day is a holy and blessed day. We can only bless God, who is worthy of all blessing (Rev 5:12), and others, to the degree that we are willing to receive God's blessing. The Sabbath is about relationship. God does not force us to enter into a relationship with him. But once we do enter into fellowship with him, he makes it clear that the seventh day Sabbath is important to him and the kind of relationship we have with him as his very own people.

God's 'number' of 'crushing victory' is 10 + 5 + 2 or '17'. At exactly 17:00 you 'created' a grievous error in what you said, as on the 7th day (the Sabbath) God (not Lord God or Lord) rested from all He 'made' AND 'created' - and there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between these two 'doings'. Read Isaiah 45:7 (KJV is most honest) and you can not only spot a stark contrast between these two 'doings', but also understand WHY the Sabbath was 'made' for man, and what the 'rest' was all about as these two forces (light and darkness) if NOT at 'rest' are then at 'war' with each other - or at least in man's eyes. God does NOT see these two things in the same way that man does... God only sees 'good' and 'very good', while the Lord (and Lord God) see 'good' and 'evil'.

Jesus Christ wants you to find rest in him, break away from these temples, church’s, mosque and black box. It’s no longer a physical observant, but its an observant of the heart Jeremiah 31:33. We are under a new covenant where God has written his laws on our heart through the holy spirit who is in us. So we know God's law from the heart, we are convicted when we do, say or even think wrong. Under the old covenant they were judged for outward sinful actions, under the new covenant we are judged by what's in our heart. Examples are unforgiveness, hate which Jesus calls murder and lustful thoughts which Jesus calls adultery. You observe the sabbath when you find obedience, through obedience you find rest and that rest is in Jesus Christ Colossians 2 it explains this reality. They were a shadow of things to come in and in Hebrews 3:15 and 4:12, the 'shadow' prophecy of the Sabbath is explained. Isaiah 11:9-11 They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is full of water. 10 On that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will seek Him, and His place of rest will be glorious. 11 On that day the Lord will extend His hand a second time to recover the remnant of His people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islandse of the sea.
