Assembling third-party components into the finished product is defined as manufacturing. Most manufacturers worldwide do not fabricate all the components used in their finished product. They depend on suppliers for some components based on the manufacturer's (OEM)specifications. This is economy of scale and most manufacturers find it to be an efficient and less complex process.

Yeah, no car company in the world manufactures 100% components of their car including Toyota, Honda, Mercedes and so on. So Innoson manufactures because over 60% of his car components are produced and fabricated by Innoson while he order products like engine and so on. Assembly means put all eggs in one basket, that is, If you are Assembling for BMW they will just send all their car components to you in Nigeria and you do the assembling. If you have misunderstanding with BMW then they will close up the company. In the case of Innoson he produces most things and buys those ones he needs that's manufacture.

Innoson manufactures cars. The truth is that no single vehicle manufacturers in the world produces 100% of their vehicles components including Toyota, Honda,, BMW and others but once you produces over 51% of the whole Vehicle components then it means majority is done by you therefore it means you're the manufacturer. It is also same thing with Airplane manufacturers.

Instead of Nigeria to promote the brand those in government choose to run down the Nigerian brands so as to rationalize their crave for the imported brands .Many Nigerian office holders are so corrupt and would not want anything to stand on their way .The prospect of importing those things that are locally available provide them with the opportunity to engage in budget padding ,over invoicing and all kinds of wheeling and dealing. Granted that Innoson assembles automobiles (which is not the case ),it is still better than buying the equivalent of the locally made brand abroad .They contribute to the increase in the GDP of those countries and the Nigerian economy loses out .The overarching thing to note here , is that both the companies that are engaged in assembling vehicles and those that manufacture vehicles create employment and that is what Nigeria desperately needs now .Today, in the world of vehicle manufacturing , interdependence and comparative advantage play crucial role .

When i come to Nigeria i will buy car from him. God Almighty have blessed him. People does not know how many things Nigeria manufacture, many things including the best body creame both bleaching and normal. I bought one thing that helps so much when it finishe i coud not find it other places. What about soap, artificial hair. I am hoping to seeing them manufature sewing machine, i know their own will be the best. Imagine Innoson manufacturing vehicles that uses petrol, disel and ordinary gas in different contaners in on car. Even here they assemble things. They buy parts from different countries. Fiat also assemble they buy parts and engines from different places they don't make engine.

The problem is that most Nigeria claims to be educated their are not knowledgeable enough, my friend is working with an aluminum company that specializes in producing aluminum materials for manufacturing companies, like aluminum will, spare parts and so on delivery to different countries, so because they are getting their aluminum parts or materials from the aluminum company, does that mean that the finished companies are not manufacturing companies?..no manufacturing company that can 100% produces or manufacture of the raw materials they using, is not possible, IVM is a manufacturing company.

What a foolish question with inferior mentality. Does Toyota, Nissan, GM, VW, Audi, Ford etc manufacture cars? No they don't. They assemble cars. They get their parts from different suppliers. There is a huge supply chain around car manufacturing as they alone cannot manufacture the engine, the lights, the electronic, the software system etc. Innoson motors is no different.
