English is a terrible language. There is no "forceful" in that verse. In my native language, we didn't use "forceful" word. And the word being used before it was "Kuffar" not "Kaafir"/"kaafirun". These words (and "kufur") has very different nuance. "Kaafir" and "Kaafirun" refers to non-muslim as a whole, while "Kuffar" refers to those "Kaafirun" who has hatred and actively oppose muslim and Islam in very dangerous situation like during war (you can see this word being used in At Taubah). "Forceful" is a terrible translation. The word "asyidda'u" has very close meaning towards "hard" or "firm"/"stern" attitude. Seriously, that's why it's highly recommended if you (muslim) study Arabic language. Everything in The Qur'an will become much clearer once you've mastered it.

Most of us are young and were born in these countries. As Muslims were supposed to make Hijra when we are able. The reason a lot of us don’t is because we’re established with businesses and houses so it’s hard to move. InshaAllah we will though.

Hijra means to migrate from a land of disbelief to a land of Muslims. Also you must remember Muslims are commanded to obey the laws of the land except if they are laws that make us do haraam so for example if there is a law that you have to take part in interest. They we do not obey.

One in a million statement about what Islam says in regards to Disbelievers and that is to give them the message of Islam about Oneness of Allah (S.W.T) and the final Messenger Prophet Muhammad ( P.B.U.H) . Muslim women can only marry muslim men. Because muslim women must be protected. But, muslim men are allowed to marry only muslim women, christian women and jewish women. Not hindus or any other religion. Only the women of the book. I.e. injeel and torah. Please read Quran you will find the ruling there.

The short answer to the question in the title is yes. Muhammad waged 28 battles/ attacks in his 10 years in Madina. He ordered political assassinations and summary executions of men and women who said bad poetry about him. His Meccan peaceful approach changed dramatically Year after year in Medina. The verses of the Quran also evolved from the Meccan peace and coexistence verses to Chapter: Al-Tawbah (also called Bara’aa) which orders the fighting of all infidels until they become Muslim, also people of the book (Jews and Christians) until they pay taxes while shamed). Muhammad allowed the s enslavement of women after wars even if they were married. He allowed Child marriage, just like Jews and Christians did. All religions are man made. Islam happens to combine the best and worst of Judaism, Christianity and Zoroastrianism in one religion and continue to practice them to this day. Behold ISIS, TALIBAN, AL-NUSRA, and the thoughts and beliefs of many ordinary Muslims when they are not pretending in front of others. Ask any Muslim (and devout Jew or Christian by the way): do you believe your religion must/ will rule the world? The answer will be YES. The end of days prophecies in these three religions are horrific and every fanatic seeks to fulfil them.

I believe what the Shiekh is talking about is having mercy towards those who dont represent themselves as enemies and dont want harm to Muslims in any way possible, those we should treat with mercy and and respect, like with the christians of Najran. They weren't part of a political entity that wants harm for Muslims and they weren't a gang or thugs that came all the way from Najran to Medina to hurt anyone. They were normal people not harmful add to that they were guests so they will be treated with kindness. As for the Prophet (peace be upon him) treating also his enemies and those who wanted harm for Islam and Muslims with mercy, it's true that the Prophet (peace be upon him) had mercy on his enemies but remember he was always in the position of power and anyone who chose to be his enemy became always below him (the higher one only can have mercy on the lower not the opposite). Also he didn't expect treason from them. Like for example what he did to the prisoners of Badr, to Adi Ibn Hatim Al-Taii and his sister Safana Bint Hatim and their people, to Thumamah Ibn Uthal the chieftain of Bani Hanifa, to the people of Mecca.....etc. So the rule of thumb is to treat people good unless they want harm and if reasoning and intellectual conversation doesn't work with them to stop them from harming, there must be a suitable response obviously. This Surah (Surah Al-Fath) was revealed when the Muslims were singing the Treaty of Hudaybia with pagans of Kureish or the Meccans (the biggest enemy at the time). If you dont show the other side that firmness even in a temporary treaty im sorry but you are sooo naive and your only making your self look weak in front of someone who wants to harm you. The treaty was broken by the pagans later on which led to the conquest of Mecca. And as years went by, christian states took the place of the pagans in breaking treaties and christians really have a long history and experience in breaking oaths and treaties especially with Muslims (even more than pagans unfortunately) . And the one who breaks a treaty should be logical and not expect flowers. As for normal dudes now who just like to talk which i think are probably most of people now maybe🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️, I think you are fine. Dont worry, it really depends on your approach. We do not initiate hate. Allah knows best

It was narrated that Abu Umaamah said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.” 2. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He who says, ‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi‘ (Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) 3. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet said:“There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subahana Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhana Allahi Al-`Azeem (Glory and praise be to Allah, Glorified is Allah, the Most Great.)” (Al-Bukhari) 4. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet said: He who repeats after every prayer: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times; and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent)Will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.” (Muslim) 5. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whosoever says: ‘Astaghfirullaha al-`Azeem al-ladhi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum wa atubu illayh(I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I turn to Him in repentance,) his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam). (Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani) 6. The Prophet peace be upon him said "Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI) 7. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet ﷺ (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).” [Ahmad] 8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next. [Bayhaqi] 9. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying): “Ash-hadu an laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa ashadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”: ‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires.[Tirmidhi] 10. Whoever says: “Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad Nabiyya” - ‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,’ Paradise would be (made) mandatory for him. [Abu Dawud] 11. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times (Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah), then Paradise will say: “O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!” And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times (Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar), the Fire will say: “O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!” [Tirmidhi] 12. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him. [Hakim] 13. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep. [Ahmad] 14. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Soorah Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ [al-Mulk 67:1].” 15. As-salaam Alaikum Brother Some Sheikhs will tell you that Muslim men cannot marry the Christian ladies of this current time . The ones who believe in the Trinity. Also pork is forbidden to Christian people too so if you think that you can eat from people who are eating pork then you need reflect on that. If you go to the supermarket and buy non-halal ground beef it is going in the same grinder that the pork was ground up in. I am not saying that you cannot eat vegetables, fruit, fish from a Christian but it should be cooked in a pot that pig wasn't cooked in and other utensils that were not contaminated by pork should be used. I agree with you that non muslims should be treated with dignity and respect. In Islam even our neighbors regardless of their faith have certain rights over us.

Al-Mumtahanah 60:8 لَّا يَنْهَىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَٰتِلُوكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجُوكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمْ أَن تَبَرُّوهُمْ وَتُقْسِطُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِمْۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ English - Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran Allah does not forbid you from dealing kindly and fairly with those who have neither fought nor driven you out of your homes. Surely Allah loves those who are fair/Just. She is so arrogant. I had watched few of her videos. she might have undergone a lot in her life but she projects her experiences are as Islamic religion and that's what she upholds. There are many Muslim countries like Qatar, Kuwait, Turkey, Lebanon where its pretty good. Good and bad experiences are all accumulation of one's life. She is a living example of what blind faith can cause. Every people who follow religion must know it inside out. Its our responsibility. Average human being live up to 70+ years by the age of 25. Everybody reaches a maturity to understand. And if uh decide to follow a religion kindly follow as it is with out simply copy pasting it into life. That's where issues begin. What our messengers thought and what people are doing is a complete contrast.

This world has two systems one Islam (devine laws) and second men made or amended devine laws. If we accept Allah but do not accept Allah's laws, guidance we are infidels even with all our prayers and shahada. We are infildes in all entirety, if we amend, make or support, believe or implement laws that favours or pleases the powerful individuals, countries or champions of humanity, and institutions that are governed by worldy and unjust laws and supress the weak. We can not be muslims till we submit to Allah and his devine laws and practicaly implement them. Islamic laws are just, for bring peace to societies, harmony, justice to nations and people with one same law for every single individual. The worldy laws are tricks, prejudice, racist, and favours powerfull people and nations to protect their injustice, brutalities and supression.

Surah 9 Ayah 5 وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَٱحْصُرُوهُمْ وَٱقْعُدُوا۟ لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ ۚ فَإِن تَابُوا۟ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَوُا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ فَخَلُّوا۟ سَبِيلَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ This is the Ayah of the Sword Mujahid, `Amr bin Shu`ayb, Muhammad bin Ishaq, Qatadah, As-Suddi and `Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam said that the four months mentioned in this Ayah are the four-month grace period mentioned in the earlier Ayah, فَسِيحُواْ فِى الاٌّرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ (So travel freely for four months throughout the land.) Allah said next, فَإِذَا انسَلَخَ الأَشْهُرُ الْحُرُمُ (So when the Sacred Months have passed...), meaning, `Upon the end of the four months during which We prohibited you from fighting the idolators, and which is the grace period We gave them, then fight and kill the idolators wherever you may find them.' Allah's statement next, فَاقْتُلُواْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ (then fight the Mushrikin wherever you find them), means, on the earth in general, except for the Sacred Area, for Allah said, وَلاَ تُقَـتِلُوهُمْ عِندَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ حَتَّى يُقَـتِلُوكُمْ فِيهِ فَإِن قَـتَلُوكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ (And fight not with them at Al-Masjid Al-Haram, unless they fight you there. But if they attack you, then fight them. )2:191 Allah said here, وَخُذُوهُمْ (and capture them), executing some and keeping some as prisoners, وَاحْصُرُوهُمْ وَاقْعُدُواْ لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ (and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush), do not wait until you find them. Rather, seek and besiege them in their areas and forts, gather intelligence about them in the various roads and fairways so that what is made wide looks ever smaller to them. This way, they will have no choice, but to die or embrace Islam, فَإِن تَابُواْ وَأَقَامُواْ الصَّلَوةَ وَءاتَوُاْ الزَّكَوةَ فَخَلُّواْ سَبِيلَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ (But if they repent and perform the Salah, and give the Zakah, then leave their way free. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.) Abu Bakr As-Siddiq used this and other honorable Ayat as proof for fighting those who refrained from paying the Zakah. These Ayat allowed fighting people unless, and until, they embrace Islam and implement its rulings and obligations. Allah mentioned the most important aspects of Islam here, including what is less important. Surely, the highest elements of Islam after the Two Testimonials, are the prayer, which is the right of Allah, the Exalted and Ever High, then the Zakah, which benefits the poor and needy. These are the most honorable acts that creatures perform, and this is why Allah often mentions the prayer and Zakah together. In the Two Sahihs, it is recorded that Ibn `Umar said that the Messenger of Allah said, «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاة» (I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establish the prayer and pay the Zakah.) This honorable Ayah (9:5) was called the Ayah of the Sword, about which Ad-Dahhak bin Muzahim said, "It abrogated every agreement of peace between the Prophet and any idolator, every treaty, and every term.'' Al-`Awfi said that Ibn `Abbas commented: "No idolator had any more treaty or promise of safety ever since Surah Bara'ah was revealed. The four months, in addition to, all peace treaties conducted before Bara'ah was revealed and announced had ended by the tenth of the month of Rabi` Al-Akhir.''

Surah 58 Ayah 22 Maarif-ul-Quran لَّا تَجِدُ قَوْمًا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ يُوَآدُّونَ مَنْ حَآدَّ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَلَوْ كَانُوٓا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ أَوْ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ أَوْ إِخْوَٰنَهُمْ أَوْ عَشِيرَتَهُمْ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ كَتَبَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلْإِيمَـٰنَ وَأَيَّدَهُم بِرُوحٍ مِّنْهُ ۖ وَيُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ رَضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ حِزْبُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ أَلَآ إِنَّ حِزْبَ ٱللَّهِ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ Believers cannot entertain intimacy with non-Believers لَّا تَجِدُ قَوْمًا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّـهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ‌ يُوَادُّونَ مَنْ حَادَّ اللَّـهَ وَرَ‌سُولَهُ وَلَوْ كَانُوا آبَاءَهُمْ (You shall not find those who believe in Allah and in the Hereafter having friendship with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers....58:22). The preceding verses showed that those [ hypocrites ] who are in intimate friendship with unbelievers and pagans shall incur Allah's wrath, indignation and severe torment. This verse describes the condition of sincere believers who would not take an enemy of Faith, the opponents of Allah, for intimacy and friendship, even though such people are their own fathers, children, brothers or any other blood relatives. The bond of belief transcends all other bonds, even the close ties of blood. This description fits all noble Companions ؓ . Commentators on this occasion have cited a number of incidents of the blessed Companions which describe how, when they heard their fathers, sons and brothers or other blood relations utter blasphemy against Islam or the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ، they left all ties aside and punished them or even killed them. ` Abdullah, the son of ` Abdullah Ibn 'Ubayy, the leader of the hypocrites in Madinah, heard his father make some blasphemous remarks against the Holy Prophet ﷺ . The son came up to the Holy Prophet ﷺ and sought his permission to kill his father. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stopped him. Sayyidna Abu Bakr ؓ heard his father, Abu Quhafah, uttering some insulting words against the Holy Prophet ﷺ . The most compassionate Siddiq ؓ became indignant and unexpectedly gave him such a hard slap that he fell down. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard about it, he advised Abu Bakr Siddiq ؓ not do it again. In the battle of Uhud, Sayyidna Abu ` Ubaidah's father, Jarrah, was fighting on the side of the unbelievers against the Muslims. In the battlefield, while the battle was on, he purposely came time and again face to face with Sayyidna Abu ` Ubaidah ؓ and pursued him. Every time his father came in front of him, Sayyidna Abu ` Ubaidah ؓ would, as a mark of respect, move out. But when he persisted, Sayyidna Abu ` Ubaidah ؓ had no choice but to kill him. The biography of the blessed Companions is replete with similar incidents. The present set of verses was revealed to laud them. [ Qurtubi ] Ruling Many jurists have ruled that this rule applies equally to all Muslims who transgress or violate the sacred laws of Shari’ ah or in their practical life turn away from them, in that the sincere Muslims should not maintain an intimate friendship or relationship with such transgressors. As explained earlier, Muwalah [ intimate friendship ] with a fasiq [ transgressors ] is not possible because intimacy with them is possible if and only if the germs of fisq [ transgression ] are lurking in the people befriending them. Muwasah [ sympathy ] and Mu'amalat [ dealings ] or Mudarah [ cordiality ] are, however, a different matter to the degree of necessity. This is the reason why the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray: اَللَّھُمَّ لَا تَجعَلَ لِفَاجِرِ عَلَیَّ یَداً "0 Allah, do not give any transgressor the upper hand over me." The Messenger of Allah prayed thus because if anyone has the upper hand in a situation, he is most likely to get his own way. He will, for instance, show kindness to people and thus gain the upper hand; and the noble persons, on account of the kindness, will feel obliged or duty-bound to return his kindness with love. Thus the Messenger of Allah sought refuge with Allah from this situation. [ Qurtubi ] وَأَيَّدَهُم بِرُ‌وحٍ مِّنْهُ (...and has helped them with a Spirit from Him....58:22) The word ruh, according to some authorities on Tafsir, stands for 'light', which radiates or emanates from Allah and enters the heart of a believer which urges him to perform righteous deeds, and is the source of peace and contentment of the heart. This tranquility and satisfaction is the source of great strength and power. Other authorities say that this word stands for the Holy Qur'an and the arguments of the Holy Qur'an. This is the real strength and power of a believer. [ Qurtubi ] Allah, the Pure and Exalted, knows best! Alhamdulillah The Commentary on Surah A1-Mujadalah Ends here.
