Thank you so much! Oh for sure, if I had been making the panel specifically for this card rather than using one I'd made before I would definitely have stamped the monsters with the glowing powder too. That would be so fun. Yes, there are a few different brands that sell the glowing powder.

I like the idea of the cards ability of glowing in the dark...awesome. I have never tried any glow in the dark powder but am willing to try. Your card is very nice and I like that you repurposed the chipboard.

Thank you 😊 Based on this card I definitely prefer the Nuvo Drops as they had a much better glow! But I've been leaving my embossing powder in the sun (as much as we get sun this time of year!) to charge up and I'll be giving it another go later this month hopefully to see if it works better.

I agree - glow in the dark things are so fun! I've now left my pot of powder where it will get more sunlight (not that we get a lot this time of year) to try and charge it up a bit in the hopes it will work better on my next attempt.

Fab card!! Love that you used a piece from your stash!!! I've used this powder before and it does work well on white! I made a Harry Potter themed card for my daughter's birthday and I made it so that when it opened there was a stag glowing! (*Harry's Patronus 🥰)

Oh thank you! That's awesome that you made a patronus! Now I kind of want to do that... I'm hoping with leaving the pot where it gets more light (not that we get a lot at the moment) I can recharge it and have it work better in future.

I hope you have more luck with your powder than I did 🤞 I've now taken the pot of it to sit where it should get more sunlight and will be trying it again in a few weeks to see if that helps charge it.

Fantastic card, love all the monsters and your background. I think I have some panels I made years ago and haven't used too lol. Glad you got to use your panel. Never tried the glow in the dark drops or embossing powder, glad the nuvo drops were glowing.

Wow - looks great! I have been trying to use less foam tape too and have been using scrap card instead. Wonder if it would work if you were trying to make a shaker card? (PS - glowing!)

Sorry that wasn't such a glowing success with that embossing powder! I actually have that same powder (for years as well), good to know the trick since I definitely don't remember that, if we even knew that way back then, lol! Cute card regardless ❤

I'm still catching up on videos from the end of September so I totally understand 😅 I did charge the card for about 5 minutes under a very bright light before doing the filming in the dark. I've now put the pot of embossing powder on a shelf where it should get more sunlight (what little there is this time of year!) and I think I will give it a go again maybe in a couple of weeks to see if that helps at all.

Question...Do we have to go to the raffle thing each video? I tried to go on the second one and it was already ticked off from watching the first video. Too bad the GLOWING element didn’t work that well.

Doing it for each video is optional, but gets you more entries counted towards the giveaway. Each day I add a new field for commenting on the new video so its not the same one that you ticked off on the first day. If you scroll down to the bottom of the list you should find it there. I have tried glow in the dark powders and never had good luck with it. Since the glowing nuvo drops showed up good on the black card maybe if you use the drops like a texture paste though a striped stencil or any stencil it should glow, right? I don't have any to try, just a thought! Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I would imagine the Nuvo drops would glow when stenciled on too. I might have to have a go at that! Though I think I should purchase a full sized bottle of the drops first as I'm not sure if my mini bottle would be enough. Thanks for the idea!
