That embossing powder is so cool!!! And the fireflies are super cute. I think I saw an example in one of the DT's cards, but I can see coloring the little "light" part of the firefly with a Versamarker and coating that with the glow in the dark powder. Thanks so much for sharing! :)

I just purchased a jar of the Glow in the Dark embossing powder, but I think I must be doing something wrong. I emboss with other powders all the time; with this one, I can't get it to melt. It stays powdery and rough on the surface of the cardstock; I actually burned the cardstock a little trying to get the powder to melt. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

So cute! I bought the glow in the dark embossing powder and the firefly stamps and dies, but I can’t get the powder to glow! I’ve stamped several samples and nothing :( Is there any trick to make it happen?

You have to make sure to expose it to enough light first. I use my flashlight on my phone, and then turn off all of the lights and it will glow!

Hi Teresa, we like the Wagner heat tool but there are many good heat tools on the market. Type "heat tool" in the search box at your favorite online craft store to find what is available. You can also check with your local craft stores to see what they recommend. Thanks so much :)

Does the powder glow all the time or do you have to hold it up to the light for a few minutes to activate the glow or make it stronger?

You have to activate it with light. It doesn't glow too long, but its really cute when it does!
