I don't really get the people who say you're supporting China directly. You just pay what retailers usually pay for it and just don't make the retailer profit. China gets the money either way. It's not that the products you buy elsewhere aren't made in China. Great video and thanks for going to the effort!

Hey Matt, I've used about 10 of that style if holesaw pretty extensively. They work well in sheetmetal. I believe yours most likely failed due to too high speed being used on your drill press. Drilling steel with any bit should be done slowly and where possible with lubricant otherwise the sharp tips overheat and round/blunt as you experienced. Not having a go just trying to offer some advice. Thanks for the video of your experiences with Temu 🤙

Great tip! I was using the slowest setting on the drill press. It seems to work fine for normal, small holes in steel, but I haven't used holesaws much. I suppose the teeth of a larger diameter holesaw would be moving faster than a small diameter drill bit. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
