Ehy Dave, you didn’t mentioned the noise. How is it with the fan speed maxed out?

Really good. You can hear it but my mic doesn't pick it up 👍

David….. At the beginning you state “I’m a sim racer, just like you”. I’ve been checking our lap times (I’ve just got a mortgage on a place on a place in bottom split). We are not the same 😂😂

For that price may as well just rig up a cool shirt system like we had in our race cars.

EASILY done for HALF the price too. That chair is bunch of hot air for that price. 😂

Verrry expensive, might even consider buying a ventilated car seat and a bit diy :P

It really does sound like something every sim racer needs….. but i cant possibly understand how its worth spending the thick end of a grand more than my gtomega RS6(yeah im entry level on the rig) and fan pointing at the groin. Surely going to be something other manufacturers are gonna make cheaper at some point, definitely a market for it.

It really is a nice looking seat. I have cooled seats in my car and they are an absolute must for the hot weather. I certainly wouldn't get the use of of one of these but it's great to look at nice things and wish I had them.

Totally unrelated so apologies, I noticed your not running the bezel free kit? Any reason why? I’ve just bought the SSP kit off Etsy and going to set it up this weekend

Okey. I had this for about 6 months. It’s cooling is just superior. BUT the ergonomics ain’t the best. My sparco is way more comfortable. And the noise is a bit much from the fans. Even said that. I still use the O-Rouge seat for that long endurance sessions.

I just realized you're not in Australia. I'm not sure why I always thought that.

Nice, and I agree with your assessment as far as how much time that particular sim racer spends on the seat. Side note hope you don't have a headache as it looks like to hit your head on something. Take care Mate!

Do the fans blow into ur body or draw air out ? (aka. if you drop your guts racing does it disperse it into the room quickly ?)

Buy an A8, S-Class passenger seat (from a previous generation), they all have massage and ventilation, you can’t go wrong. Passenger is usually cheaper. I bought mine for 50€. Buy a cheap PSU and use the 12V rail, works like magic. But that’s just me

I am glad I am not the only one who sweats while racing. I have the Trak racer recliner seat and it gets very hot so I bought a 30 dollar 3 fan USB powered fan for car seats I place that on the back section so it blows right on my mid back, and those wooden seat beads that keep your body off the hot seat material so air can flow. $40 dollars + $299 for seat. Combined with a rotatinf floor fan and you saved yourself about $1000 USD. Sorry man but this is not worth the cost.

I have spoken to O-Rouge about this and the cooling effect gets a little less after a while, because the new cushions will be compressed over time. But that is something that was factored in from the beginning. Even after intensive use, the cooling should be more than sufficient 👍

A thousand euros you say? I'm sure it's good but that's crazy amount of money for a seat.
@markb1402 Жыл бұрын
I enjoy watching your videos but to be fair no matter how deep your products are £1k is a ridiculous price for a seat. I have an air con unit in my man cave and that was £500 and i bet you its far more effective than a seat with 4 fans.
