I would NEVER get a tint that doesn't have red in it. A healthy tan looks reddish. A "fake" looking tan is usually hella orange which is what you don't want

hmmm not really....jackie's using more of a instant glow adding tanner....a self tanner is more like you leave on for a bunch of hours then you're left with a 'tan' for a week or so....hers just ads glow and washes off

Kelly Gonda Not really, considering there are different versions of “tan”, and different versions of getting lighter. Anyone can get darker so it’s not odd for a black person (of any shade) to want to tan. Many people also lighten/bleach certain areas of their body (like hyper-pigmentation) so that it matches the rest of their body

I use the Sally Hansen spray tan on my legs in the summer🙌🏽 it helps cover up any scarring and even skin complexion. I don’t think women of colour use self-tan to get darker - more to even out skin tone etc 🤔

ryan CP they are judged your muscles and balance of muscle depending on the categories. So for example the big bodybuilders have to have a balance of muscle their chest cannot be too big to the point that it overpower the lower body. Or you can’t have crazy muscular legs but your calves or upper body doesn’t match. Basically you build muscle appropriate to each body part to have a balance. I am really simplifying it but I am gonna do a video soon to explain

I'm whiter than a piece of Wonder bread and use the Vita Liberata foam self-tanner on my legs all spring, summer and fall so I can get away with no panty hose (I work in a conservatively dressing profession - lawyer). I LOVE that stuff and it's worth every cent to avoid pantyhose. That blur/tan product, I haven't tried yet but it looks AMAZING on your skin, Jackie! Gorgeous and glowy.

A lot of times when a tan becomes blotchy is because people don't scrub the dead skin off and moisturize heavily.. if you're gonna self tan PLEASE PEOPLE EXOFILATE YOUR SKIN AND USE A BODY BUTTER 2 OR 3 DAYS BEFORE YOU APPLY IT AND DON'T TAKE HOT SHOWERS!! Also don't forget to CONSTANTLY USE a body lotion.. it's okay to use a sugar scrub after 3 days of having a self tanner on.. just make sure to scrub lightly! Your tan will last a lot longer and wear off evenly 💕 **tip: use a tan extender lotion/water!

Mindy Kaling gets spray tan before events to even out her skin tone, and she’s pretty deep skinned. I read about it in one of her books. Makes sense that it works to mask “imperfections” on any skin tone. That’s why I use it, and I’m a medium tone. Jackie looking gorgeous as always. 😍❤️😍

I think having a red undertone is perfect for the sun-kissed effect. It really makes it look like you've been sunbathing outside all day long. Where you're just in between a tan and almost a burn but not quite. I think it's beautiful! If you switch back to the beginning of the video and notice her face makeup vs her chest, the face definitely already looks like it has a more red undertone than her body. I think the body blur really helped to balance it out as is.
