Working from home rules. You can cook a meal from scratch for lunch, you can sleep in, you can shower at lunch, you can walk your doggos at random times, you can avoid crappy people, you can get your deliveries, you save money on travel and food. And yes Red Rock is the best - but I'm a Sour Cream and Chilli bro.

Yes..Japan does make me homesick..even though I do not live there...I long to be in Japan....I have a feeling of nostalgia and yearning for a life I've never lived...I visited Japan twice last year...While there I felt a claimness I have not felt for years...Despite being a fish out of water....Japan gave me what I have been missing since losing my partner to cancer....Peace...All I can think of now is to be there again...I want that feeling back.

I love your energy. I watched this with breakfast before work and it really set me off in a good mood. Im starting the day feeling how good and exciting life is. I'm a filmmaker and I can definitely tell that you've been putting effort into learning more about cameras. Your videos are looking more and more beautiful each time. For lighting there are so many options. If you want to keep your videos looking natural but still have control over the light then softboxes are a good shout. You can also do a lot with lamps you have at home.

As a relatively recent viewer of the channel who is from Hamburg it was such a crazy whiplash moment to hear you talk about your roots in this area. Might also explain the obsession with tea. Ostfriesland in particular has some of the highest tea consumption in Europe outside of the UK as you might know, so it might just be in your blood 😄

I was in Tokyo in Nov for the first time so I'm still super interested. Super cool to be introduced to ikigai. I'm gonna read up on it. As far as Canada goes, if you want to see snow, just come in winter. The west coast won't be snowy but if you go up to Whistler, I hear it's beautiful. If you come to the prairies in winter, you will definitely see snow and ice. I'm from Winnipeg. Enjoying your videos.

13:00 Summer is amazing, at least it was when I visited in July/August 2010. Everything is so green and lush if you get out of the cities with the rice fields and the mountains, like the Kamikochi area, are incredible (and not hot due to altitude).

As a German who travelled/lived in Japan for a year, I can say that most German food in Japan really isn't that great. No matter if it's Schmatz, a Christmas market or a more expensive plcae for example, the sausages always taste the same lol. In case of bakeries - you already mentioned Linde in Kichijoji, which is good but there's actually a fairly small shop called "Bäckerei Ponpon" east of Sumidagawa. I've never tried the bread there but they do sell Käsebrezeln there and those satisfied my cravings when I stayed near there! I'd go there every day to get a few.

For lighting, I think something like an Aputure MC might be good as a start given its portable meaning you can bring it along with you. Getting two should cover most cases. You can obviously get larger lighting solutions but maybe as a next step down the road.

I think you're the only other person I've ever heard talk about having the same kind of seafood allergy as me! I outgrew mine as well in adulthood and I have the same kind of aversion to fish. I'm trying to branch out from just white fish, tuna, and occasionally shrimp, but it's hard to adjust after having spent almost half my life being told to avoid eating seafood at all costs and consequently having developed a distaste for it.

This ones a bit old but have you seen Chuugakku sei nikki. 中学聖日記 the 2018 drama , another shojo manga adaptation with a killer Soundtrack. Worth checking out if you hadn't previously. Also you mentioned you like KPP , do you like PERFUME as well they have the same music producer. Also you should do a video on how to go to concerts in japan, its a lot tricker than going in Australia
